"We understand that good communication is required in order to have a good experience with any service provider. We strive to accomplish this during every job. Unfortunately, in Member's case, we may have tried to better explain that with a small 4 hour package he may not get his entire list of priorities throughout the whole home cleaned to a professional standard after a full kitchen and bathroom cleaning. Although we did attempt to explain this fact, we understand that if the communication isn't fully understood, then we need to continue to try to communicate our message until our message is clearly received. Unfortunately, at the time of the service, Member was not present and we were being directed by his roommate, as Member had explained the case would be. This may have added to the misunderstanding on both sides of this issue because Member may have preferred we started our efforts in other areas of the home. We didn't have the opportunity to directly explain and discuss how long items on his list would take once we actually saw the list, the items on the list, and the size and condition of the items on the list. We often face the challenge of trying to explain to new housekeeping customers that in order to reach a professional standard of cleaning, more time is required than a casual house cleaning by a homeowner might require. As professional cleaners, we are held to a higher standard of quality than a homeowner typically would hold themselves when cleaning and straightening their own home. Even though a homeowner may feel that they can clean their entire home in a period of 4 hours, we understand and try to convey that a professional standard of cleaning usually takes longer to accomplish. Our window washing and carpet cleaning services are based on project prices and don't usually vary based on the time needed to complete the project."
