Falcon Tree Experts

I purchased a deal for $150 of tree service for $73 because Falcon Tree Experts had such great reviews. I called for am estimate to trim two trees in my yard and was quotes an outrageously high price. I got three more estimates that all came in at less than half of the price quoted by Falcon so I ultimately went with one of the lower bids. I understand that quality work can cost more money I cannot understand the extreme discrepancy with the other contractors I worked with. Ultimately, the company I went with did a good job for half the price. I ended up throwing my $73 away on this crumby deal. I will be sure to get bids in the future BEFORE purchasing any more deals here.

The tree work they performed was excellent but there was a confusion about the price and the value of the coupon.

They did a wonderful job. They also trimmed 3 large camellias which were in similar condition. I realize they may not bloom much in a couple months, but they will be much healthier in the future.

Fine once finally contacted regarding coupon

They performed the job plus a couple other odds and ends and kept to their agreed upon price. All in all we were happy with their work and willingness to stick to the deal in the end.

The team of people from Falcon trimmed a heavily damaged tree. The majority of the damage was approximately 20 feet up, and they trimmed and shaped the remainder of the tree to give it a consistent look. Overall, we were very impressed with the job they did. They cleaned everything up and were very efficient with the job.

I have a VERY large tree in the backyard that has taken over. My neighbors were concerned with the safety of it as part of it was leaning towards my roof and theirs. I contacted this company and they came out promptly to give me a bid. They gave me several options. I decided to go ahead and have partial removal of the tree (it had split into a few bases) and had the part removed that was leaning the wrong direction. The owner also reviewed with me my preferences for limbing and how to best fix this but make it look visually appealing and lasting. he also added a cable for added stability. This was no small task as this is an ernormous tree. I appreciated the options provided and info shared. He was quick to come and do the job and compared to other contractors was very fair in his pricing. This was a lot of work!! I would highly recommend him to others and use again myself!

They cut the trees up into fireplace size pieces & piled them, rather than just leaving them strewn around. They managed to avoid hitting my landscape plants & trees. I hired them off the Angies List offer & liked them enough to have them come back for another days work.

This company is outstanding. They were responsive, extremely knowledgable and did great work. What more can you ask? I bought a coupon to try them out. I will call them whenever I have tree work. Thank you

Trimmed trees and hauled away the debris

I purchased a $73 Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went fine. I paid an additional $550 for extra services. The primary person and his crew were very good, but the tree did not turn out quite like I expected. I don't think my expectations of the way the tree should be trimmed matched his. There were three or four people in the crew and it took them a couple of hours to do the work.

They trimmed a group of 23 Douglas fir trees along our driveway. We had a hard time connecting to set an appt. Other than that he did a great job. Compared to other tree services that we have used his work is comparable to slightly better.

Rueben himself came out for the estimate as well as to do the job. He spent quite a bit explaining the condition and goals. He is very professional, respectful and knowledgeable. Rueben is a tree-whisperer!

Generally, I would say that the process went well. It took a while to get a clear estimate in terms of the written estimate that I could work from and to be clear about what the final cost would be with the coupon. Make sure you have clear understanding of the full price. There was some residue left behind which was not the original agreement and I think the gentleman that was here just didn't see it. The gentleman who came to provide the service had no paperwork with him so I thought that was a bit awkward, to take my check with no invoice.

The contractor was great to work with. He offered clear advice on what could/should be done to improve the health and appearance of our trees, and to make trees near our home less hazardous. His suggestions were fully responsive to our expressed needs, and his ideas to improve the appearance of several trees we thought already looked good turned them into showpieces. As work proceeded, the contractor made sure we understood and agreed with his plan of action - after all, we were going to live with the results. The end result was beautifully shaped trees. The 4 person team worked smoothly and efficiently; three pruning/cutting and one feeding branches into the chipper. When the work was completed, there wasn't even a twig left on the ground. The clean up was as good as all the other work. We would have no hesitation in hiring this contractor again.

Ruben and his crew arrived on time with all applicable equipment. I changed the original plan on 1 tree, remove instead of top and shape, and Ruben gave me a quick and fair price adjustment. All work was done in a speedy & professional manner. I am very pleased with the result and the price!

They were great. They showed up on time, were very professional, and very quick. The clean-up was great. In less than an hour our house had a whole new look and there was nothing left to clean up. Everything went great. I would definitely use them again.

Ruben appears to be very knowledgeable about trees and safe practices for climbing, trimming and falling them. He is very secure in climbing to the very tops of tall trees to get at the smaller limbs, taking them down in safe manageable pieces. He sang and made it all look like he really enjoyed the work. I was very satisfied with the results and look forward to having Falcon Tree Experts back again for future projects.

Ruben is my go to guy for anything to do with trees. He's lovely to work with, kind, caring and knows trees like the back of his hand. He came to our property on time for a bid, which we accepted and set a date for the work to be performed. Again he arrived punctually and did his work professionally. He appears to truly love what he does - he talks to the trees at times, and when he's up high in the branches you can hear his rich baritone voice singing as he trims and cuts. I get the feeling he understands that these trees are living creatures and he respects them and honors them, even as he must cut them down. I appreciated that sense of kinship with the forest. Ruben cleaned up perfectly and stacked the wood neatly. He did not take out the stump. We had not negotiated for that and we opted just to let it stay and get covered by vines. I can't find anything negative to say about Ruben. I was referred to him by an owner of a logging company and feel that he is totally honest, hardworking, and enjoyable to work with.

The owner spent a long time walking around examining the trees and discussing what would be done. The crew arrived on time and performed the work as expected. They cleaned up nicely.

Reuben came out on the previous Saturday to give us an estimate. He was very friendly and even gave us some additional information about some other trees that we have on the property. They were to come out the following Tuesday morning to do the work which they did. His crew worker arrived before Reuben did with the chipper. The work was actually performed while we were out so I don't know how long it took. When I arrived home about 3.5 hours later they were gone and the work was done. The trees look great and everything was very clean. They even chipped up the limbs (which were many) and spread the mulch under the trees in the bed. The price was good and we are very pleased with his work.

When Reuben came he told me the tree should probably come down and would cost $250 plus the coupon I had for $300. Because we were expecting a storm that weekend, he went back to his shop for his saw and came back to top the tree that night. I was very grateful and appreciated that. The next day he brought a crew and removed the rest of the tree and all the branches, The did a very good job and cleaned up the yard in about 30 minutes. I was impressed. I haven't yet received an invoice so I'm not sure about the real cost, it was confusing that Reuben said he did not receive very much money for the coupon I bought, and I felt he was discouraging me from using it. I do think he did a good job, and may use his service again in the future, but maybe not with an Angie's list coupon.
