Klam Construction (Able - Owner) was very very good to work with.  We had defective shingles (CertainTeed has announced the defective manufacturing batch) and Klam provided 100% full support in achieving successful settlement with the existing shingle provider for defective shingles.  Organized credit from CertainTeed, showed up exactly on time with all supplies, completed job exactly on time.  

Klam Construction crew was extremely polite, worked diligently to avoid any disruption to my home office needs, and worked to complete the entire tear off and replacement in 2 days (home is 5K sq. ft).

In addition, the crew was also very focused on maintaining cleanliness around the home (100% 360 degree cleanup several times per day - including full magnet sweeps by different individuals making sure nothing was missed) with the result being very little impact to our ability to live in our home during the process.

Use Klam Construction...They will do the job correctly or they won't do it at all (and don't ask them to cut corners...it will be a deal killer for them as Abel holds the reputation of his company in very hight esteem.  And it shows!

this house has been added onto several times over it's nearly 100 years of existence.  with all of the the unseen possible problems when roof was covered with old singles, they didn't hesitate to fix and make sound any problems that could creep up in the future.  klam construction showed up and took care of everything down to the last nail.    very well done and my wife and i couldn't be happier.  thanks

We hired Klam Construction to re-roof our house; our house had a shake roof and we wanted a good looking 50 yr roof.  We looked on line and after having quotes from both large and small Portland area roofers we choose Klam.  What sold us on Klam besides a fair price was his knowledge and his desire to do the best job.  What he proposed as standard was extras with all the other companies, this included plywood underlayment, ice and snow shield in the valleys, lead vent caps and replacement of the Sky Lights.

His crew was amazing and very professional.  They were on the roof working at all times and in a safe manor, no loud music or yelling, they also kept the garbage to a minimum during the day and cleaned up every night before leaving

Overall good job. Needed to put orange cones out so horse traiers and trucks would go around building and avoid getting nails in the tires.

Excellent.  Communication was easy and professional.  The team arrived on time and worked extremely hard in brutal heat.  They were professional the entire time and respectful of our property and the neighborhood.  Their work ethic was exceptional.  When the job was done they cleaned up so well that you would never know they were there except for that shiny new roof.  This is a very professional company with a personal feel.  Customer service is hard to come by these days and KLAM Construction has it down.
