Description of Work: I contacted Dan Head, owner of Mt. Hood Roof Restoration off the recommendation from a friend. My wife & I were doing kitchen remodel and wanted to remove chimney from the center of the house & fix roof hole where chimney used to be. Dan removed chimney from top to even with main floor ceiling in a single story ranch house. He & his crew dismantled chimney from the top a brick at a time and removed all debris out through the hole in roof (where chimney used to be) to minimize dust/debris in living space of house. During the job, Dan also walked around the roof with me to explain his concerns with the current status of the roof. He pointed out several other problem areas around vents that needed addressing and fixed them as part of original bid. I was very impressed with Dan. He would be my first call with any issues regarding roofing.

Description of Work: Roof tear off, replace roof with 30-yr architechual shingle, add roof vents, new metal to edges, replace chimney flashing...bid received promptly, scheduled work, was in contact prior to job, crew showed up on time, completed job quickly, inspection revealed no flaws, cleanup thorough, easy to work with, very knowledgable.

Description of Work: The work wasn't done, but due to company seeing other problems. We contracted for a roof inspection from an independent party. Their report was that the present roof was in poor shape. So, we decided not to go ahead with the project. Thanks to this company's honest appraisal, we won't spend the funds and turn around within a year and have to do the job again.
