We had a leak in our roof, with water coming in through the fan over our stove. We called Giron Construction on a Friday, and Jose, one of the co-owners came to our house to look at the roof and provide us with a free estimate. We chose to have them do an overall "tune-up" of the roof, since we can't afford a completely new roof at this time. Giron Construction (including Jose, one of the co-owners) came out three days later and replaced all of the vents on our roof, and checked for any other damage that needed to be repaired. They tacked down and sealed any protruding nails. Jose checked inside our attic crawl space for any water damage and moisture as well (none was found, thankfully). They even cleaned out our gutters! They were prompt, professional, courteous, and they cleaned up after themselves. They showed us before and after pictures of the work required & completed. I would happily work with them again.

A wind/rain storm in October, 2016, caused a roof leak that became visible inside our home. We had done several earlier repairs to our roof. We considered several roofers, and based on the photos taken inside our attic by the Giron sales person, realized that it was time to get a totally new roof. Later, examination of the underlying plywood, reaffirmed that decision and showed us that much of the plywood displayed mold and would have to be replaced also. Our home has a 2700 square foot interior which includes a partial second story that has several roof-lines. We chose Malarkey Highlander 30 Year Shingles. We put half the estimated total down. A company employee appeared within a few hours of when we signed the contract with Giron. He fastened a large tarp to our roof to prevent further leakage. Due to the October storm, Giron was fairly overwhelmed with work, so for awhile we seemed to be in limbo when we contacted the company office. A couple of times they had trouble finding our contract. That is really the only complaint we had with the process. On November 18th, a truck unloaded the shingles onto our roof and placed other materials in our garage. On Saturday, November 19, a work crew of 8 people showed up and worked for about five hours, removing the old roof, adding new plywood and sealing it off. On Sunday, a five person crew showed up at 8:30 A.M. and completed the job by mid-afternoon. The salesperson and the project manager came and did an inspection the following day and an employee came and repaired the water damage to our interior ceiling. Final payment was made on November 22nd. The second half of the payment was about $500 more than estimated because they had to replace so many plywood panels due to mold. On November 29 we received our final receipt and two warranties: a fifteen year workmanship warranty from Giron, and the warranties on materials from Malarkey. We are pleased with both the workmanship and the materials used on our new roof.

I was so happy with the results, a very professional job on a potentially difficult situation. They clearly know their business and were prompt and responsive.

As part of a home remodel, we decided it was time to remove an unused chimney that was running up the middle of our 100 year old home. After reaching out to several roofing companies that were highly rated on Angie's List, Giron was the only one who was willing to come look at this relatively small job to give me a bid. I spoke with their receptionist on a Friday, and by Monday Jose - one of the owners of the company - was out to take a look at the chimney and give me a bid. He showed up on time and was able to quickly determine the scope of the job and gave me a bid on the spot, which was very fair - less than I was expecting it to be. They were able to come out within a week of that to begin the project. During that time, a huge rainstorm revealed a small leak in the roof. When Jose came back to begin the project, I showed it to him and he offered to fix that while they were there for no additional charge. Jose brought one of his employees, Ulysses, with him to do the work. He was very through in going over the details of the project with Ulysses before heading off to another appointment, which I really appreciated. The removal of the chimney down to below the roof line (we did the rest of the demo ourselves) went relatively smoothly. One five-gallon bucket at a time, the debris was carefully taken off the roof and hauled away. During the demolition, there were a few stray bricks and some mortar that rolled off the roof onto the ground, but nothing was damaged as a result. Once the bricks were gone, the hole was patched and shingled, and all the debris was cleaned up and loaded into his truck, Ulysses showed me some process photos he had taken so I could see how it was put back together because the area couldn't easily be seen from the ground. He started in the early afternoon, and despite taking a little bit longer than expected, he kept working after dark to get the hole patched up and then came by early the next morning to fix the leak. Bottom line: Excellent service-oriented company. I'd hire Giron Construction again for any roofing project.

We hired Giron to do a repair on our roof that was leaking. They came out the same day that we called. They repaired it in a timely manner and the job was terrific. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Jose and his team provided excellent customer service, professional workmanship and value for my roofing job. This was actually a de-mossing job rather than a roof sealing job (closest category listed). I would definitely hire them again for future maintenance and repairs. Jose provided excellent follow up and came to the site himself to supervise the work. We have a very steep roof so it was not easy or something I would do myself. I was highly satisfied!

Out of four quotes, Giron Construction was the least expensive. I went with them because they took their time during the quote explaining the options. During the work they were good about communicating their progress and when done, made sure everything was cleaned up. I will be using them again.

Reasonable prices, quality materials and great customer service. They were professional and respectful. Very trustworthy and honest. Jose and his team were great and easy to work with! I can't say enough good things about this company. Wonderful!

These guys removed layers of old roofing shingles and shake, and replaced them with new asphalt shingles underlaid with all the accouterments required. They removed an old aluminum awning off the back of our house, and repaired a portion of the facia that needed it after removing all the old roofing material. It went extremely well. We couldn't be happier with the results. The removal took their demo team about 18 hours to remove all of that old material. Then the construction crew took over laying plywood, then waterproofing material, the underlayments, flashing, and those asphalt shingles I mentioned previously in about ten hours, this crew also reskinned our flat roof garage and painted the exposed flashing to match that skin. The following days crews showed up to remove the awning from the rear of our house which took somewhere around 6 hours and to install all of the gutters no more than four hours. Our house isn't small, either. It's a two story 1,400 square foot tudor revival. So there are plenty of odd roofing angles and overlaps with which to contend. A few weeks back we discovered that a portion of the facia on the front of our house was much shorter that it should have been; this was due to the multiple layers of roofing that had been installed on top of each other previously, creating a need for a shorter facia board in this overlapping layer of the roof. So, we did what anyone who appreciates quality work would do, and called Giron Construction. One of the owners came out himself to deal with the problem, investigating the issue, and finding a solution that was suitable to both them and us, and at no extra charge. It was the most ideal situation we could have hoped for when discovering a problem.

The quality of work performed and the professionalism of this company and it's employees is unsurpassed. I would most definitely use this companies services again!

I cannot say enough good things about Jose Giron! He went above and beyond! I bought my house during the summer and the inspector said everything looked good. The first real rain came...not so much! Two leaks! I made an appointment online to get an estimate from Giron Construction and they came out the next day AND STARTED THAT DAY! Jose said it looked as if the previous owner youtubed "how to fix a roof" and tried to do it themselves. He took pictures and explained everything and thought I should redo the whole roof but I can't right now so I went with a tune up. He didn't think he could fit me in for two weeks but I was so nervous with the next really bad rain storm coming over the weekend that I asked if there was any way he could fit me in after giving me the estimate. He somehow did, starting later that day and then coming back two days after his daily work to finish up. The rain is starting tonight and hopefully all is well. Jose assured me that if anything else goes wrong just to give him a call. So glad I met Jose! He came back to do some follow up work, free of charge!

We had a terrific experience with Jose, Mamo & Jesus! I will recommend this company to anyone who needs house repair! They are on time, care about the customer being happy & satisfied! (Which we are!) hard working, efficient and clean up their mess very well! Our home looks fabulous with our new roof! The skylight they replaced really lights up our kitchen! Barely need to turn the kitchen light on now! ;-) We are so happy we had Giron Construction do our roof!! THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!

Appreciated them making time for my roof repair during their busy season but wish they would have called to advise the repair start date would be delayed by 2 days.

We contacted four roofing companies to bid a new roof. We used the Giron online bid request and were immediately impressed by the quick response and offer to meet on a Saturday. Giron Construction did not have the lowest or the highest bid but we chose them for many reasons: Our salesman, Lucas Trejo, has years of roofing experience and knew his product, process inside and out. He was willing when asked, to offer his honest opinion on options that added cost and really helped us feel like we were making a good decision. Replacing a roof is a huge investment and we could not afford to make a mistake so we went with Giron Construction and prayed we made the right decision. From the start, we felt taken care of by Lucas, Mike, Jennifer and the crew. They started within a week of awarding them the contract. Through the process, the crew working at our house worked long hours, cleaned up constantly and did an outstanding job in every way. They worked especially hard one evening after tear off when it had been clear all day but afternoon thunderstorms appeared out of nowhere and threatened a serious issue. They successfully got the underlayment down, well after dark, to keep our house dry through the night time downpour. The whole process, start to finish, only took two days (plus a few hours the third) to complete and clean-up. Lucas followed up quickly with a final “roof walk” and carefully inspected the work with me right with him. We are very happy with Giron Construction and highly recommend them to anyone needing any exterior work on their house. We will definitely call them when it’s time to paint.

Jose (co-owner) was always on time for our set appointments and quick to do any follow ..phone calls and etc. He really explained all the details of the product /shingle that we would have installed on our house. The crew that did the re-roof were on time daily, very hard working and friendly. They always did a great job cleaning up their work site at the end of each day. We are very pleased with our positive experience with Giron and plan on having them do more jobs for us in the near future. I highly recommend this company.

Giron General Construction and there crews goes above and beyond to get the job done.Very easy to work wi th,super flexible on the schedule. And the best part is they know what they doing.

GREAT EXPERIENCE!! We are exceptionally pleased with this very positive experience with Giron Construction. The attention, care, and professionalism of everyone from Giron at every level made this a dream experience. The only thing they could not do was keep it from being noisy (we stayed at home the entire time) but no one can expect the impossible!! We will most certainly use Giron for any future needs; they do more than roofing! From the time Lucas came to our home and did a thorough inspection, showed us photos of the outside of the roof and from inside the attic, we were comfortable with Giron, and with their competitive price. Lucas was totally professional, and a pleasure to work with. When he left, we had a complete understanding of what was needed, what products would be used, the warranties, and the timetable. When we subsequently chose the two roof colors we were interested in, he had two samples dropped by, and called to discuss the merits of both to assist us in deciding. We ran into what could have been a difficulty when the post-dated check we gave for the 50% down payment was cashed prematurely, but Mike Kroon at Giron was both accommodating and apologetic, and we all learned from the experience. By the way, paying by check saves a 3% credit card charge, which when dealing with a roof replacement adds up to "real money", so was the best payment method for the thrifty-minded! Spend what you need to for a quality product, but save wherever you can! The roofers arrived on schedule, went to work, and we chose to stay although it is certainly a noisy process! They were extremely workmanlike and diligent, working from early until nearly dark, cleaning up at the end of the day, and arriving on schedule the next day. We don't have a simple roof, lots of peaks and valleys, so we appreciated both their speed and their thoroughness over the three and a half days. We were THE most exciting property in the neighborhood on the day the shingles were delivered to the roof by a gigantic truck with a crane, which all the neighborhood kids (and adults) enjoyed watching! Again, this process was carried out professionally and thoughtfully, with a minimum of angst, although it's quite something to drive onto your block as I did (husband was home then) to see the hugest vehicle in the universe parked cattiwampus in your driveway and on the street lifting pallets of shingles onto your roof! Must say something about the owner Teo Giron, who texted a couple times in the evening to make sure all was going well. And, when I responded,he texted back. THAT is real, personal customer service and very greatly appreciated in this day when we deal with so many nameless, faceless people. After the roofing itself was complete and everything was cleaned up, Jose and Carlos came to repair the closet interior that had been damaged by a leak. They, too, were great, professional and friendly. They spread drop clothes to keep everything

The folks at Giron were professional, quick to answer questions and thorough in their work. Overall a very pleasant experience. They even came back a second time to sweep for nails etc.
