Before Steven came out we had already decided that we wanted to have the bathtub removed and replaced with an all-in-one fiberglass unit. Steven recommended that we salvage the cast iron tub by refinishing it and to tile the surround. We're so glad he made the suggestion and changed our minds... it looks beautiful (and was less expensive than our original idea.) The tub was refinished in pure white with white subway tile surround and gray glass accents. The bathroom floor had horrible water damage, Steven replace the sub floor and laid a gray "weathered barn wood" tile floor. We can't believe the difference in the before and after! The job was done with care and great meticulousness.
We had discussed price and job completion at the signing of the contract. Steven kept within budget, the job was completed on time and he didn't leave a mess behind (which we've had problems with in the past.) We're a small therapeutic boarding school and have a few other bathrooms to remodel. We'll be using Steven in the future for sure!
