Mark was a pleasure to work with and did an excellent job replacing my very old skylights. The new ones look so much better. I was surprised that they were so costly but I had not realized how much window prices have increased. I was impressed with how careful and neat Mark and his worker were (my pet peeve is workman who leave dirt behind!).

They were prompt and efficient. The skylights were heavy, but they installed them without a hitch. Mark was great to work with. While on the roof, inspected and found a problem with our roof in the area of the skylights so we could arrange to have a roofer out to make repairs.

They were fantastic. He was great to work with. He was super knowledgable, helpful, and gave us great ideas. We ended up using this company because he is one of the few that had the old Velux wood frame skylights.

I was satisfied, they did a nice job of assessing some damage that we had with previous skylights. The service was good all around.

I thought the guy was very knowledgeable. All he does is replace skylights and so he seems to know the ins and outs of skylights replacement. I’m sure he puts in the required effort. He did a good job. He was expensive probably but he was well worth the money I thought. My reaction is, he is expensive. I will use his services again in the future.

Mark checked my existing skylights via Google Earth, then met with me and evaluated and measured. We scheduled a mutually convenient date and the installation went very smoothly.

I initially called Mark to attain an estimate regarding replacing home skylights. He - patiently - spend a lot of time on the phone with me and provided some background information; however, he requested a $75.00 fee to investigate the problem personally in order to provide a final estimate. At the same time I contacted other providers for replacement estimates. After a cursory glance at the windows, the other estimates were provided, but, while no fees were requested, no information regarding the problems were forthcoming, I did not understand the issues to my satisfaction and decided to invest the $75.00 with Mark as a learning experience for myself. He came to my house, removed one of the leaking skylights, and, patiently, and in detail, explained the problems and issues. This was much appreciated. His bid was competitive, and he returned a few days later to perform the work. He not only replaced the skylights, but removed some previously installed skylight framing which gives the ceiling and the new skylights a much cleaner, elegant, look. Am very pleased with the new skylights, and the manner in which the entire replacement effort was performed. I cannot recommend Mark too highly.

I called to request an estimate for the installation of 3 new skylights. Mark responded within hours of the request. He informed me that he no longer does this kind of work. He said he only supplies the windows, repairs windows or replaces windows in an existing skylight. I asked if he could recommend a reputable company that would insert new skylights. He recommended a competitor - I asked if he had seen their work. Mark said No. He did not know the company's quality, but that he had spoken on the phone with them???? This was a very unfortunate experience because I was looking forward to working with the Natural Light Skylight Co. because it had so many positive reports on Angie's list.

Very well. We had a leaky skylight in our sunroom. Mark diagnosed the problem, added some flashing around the sunlight and stopped the leak. Obviously, it was much cheaper than replacing the entire sunlight.

My experience with them was great. He was very professional and he got the job done in a couple of hours. We ordered what we wanted and we were very pleased and we recommended him to friends. He came in considerably less than other prices. We called other people who had used him and they were pleased; I mean he was less and we were concerned.

Mark did an excellent job start to finish. I had been having occasional leaking issues with my kitchen skylight. He diagnosed the problem and was able to repair my skylight by replacing the seal, saving me from having to replace it. Communication, professionalism, puncuality, his extensive knowledge, and price have led me to give him all "A" ratings. All Mark does is skylights and you will be happy you found him if you have skylight issues!

He was very professional. He was able to give me a bid over the phone based on looking at my skylight with google earth. He followed up with a personal visit. It was a good thing he came over because I had read the label wrong on my old window when I talked to him on the phone, so he had to modify the bid. He scheduled the work, and he and another worker did all the work. They did a beautiful job, and we're very happy with Mark's service and careful work.

Working with Mark Slick, the owner of Natural Light Skylight Company was a great experience start to finish. First he came over and gave us suggestions for the best placement and size of skylights for our "tricky" little room. Then he gave us an estimate, which ended up being exactly what it cost to do all of the work. Then he and a very good helper installed the skylights on the first day and completed the work by 3PM the following day. He also did a great job of cleaning up the area, (even including the stairs, hallway and entryway) and showed us how to best care for and operate the skylight windows (which open and close.) In terms of the skylights themselves - they look amazing! We went from having a windowless, black hole of a room to having a charming, bright room in less than two days! The skylights look as if they've always been there because of the way in which they were cleverly installed. In addition, these skylights have brought light not only to the room they are in, but all the way down the hall, making the whole house look bigger and brighter. All in all, Mark did a great, great job and I'd recommend him highly. If you are thinking of getting skylights do it - and call Natural Light Skylights and have Mark install them for you.

Mark was great. He impressed me with his knowledge. The information he provided will help me to choose skylights for my home. He was helpful and professional and did not give me a sales pitch. I would definitely hire Mark.

Great, Mark's team arrived while I was at work, performed the work, and called me to come inspect once they were done. The job was completed perfectly and I really appreciate his quick work!

My skylight started leaking badly. Mark worked with me over the phone using Google Maps to figure out what kind of replacement I would need. He came out to confirm and to possibly install a new one. However, it was too windy and too wet to put in a new skylight, but he did get on the roof and cover the leaking skylight with clear plastic (my wife was quite happy that he didn't just drape a large section of the roof in blue plastic.) He later came out and installed a new skylight and shade and took the time to make sure I knew how to operate the shade and the opening skylight. Mark is extremely good at communication; he returns calls quickly and follows up when needed. Mark is also willing to prioritize emergency repairs and fit them into his already busy schedule. He shows up promptly and does what he promises when he promises to do it. I can't think of any traits more important in a contractor.

Fast response - did estimate over phone using Google Earth to see the roof of my house. Came out next day and installed. Very professional and quick! Would definitely recommend.

Great. Mark stopped by and reviewed our situation from outside and called to give me some advice. I had talked to a couple of other contractors about the same scope and I could tell right away that he knew what he was talking about. He was knowledgeable, but not pushy, and even humble. We worked out a scope and he dropped a quote off at my door. It is hard for me to be around to meet contractors, but he was very flexible. He even let us stop by his showroom on a Saturday to pick out our skylights and finalize the scope/price. Other than the pole used to vent the sklylight being left in our living room, we could not even tell he was there. We got the skylights right before the hot streak and found that the kept out heat and let us vent it off in the evening, we used the air less. He even called the first night to let us know what was the optimal time to crank them open.

The owner of the company said he wanted to keep me as a satisfied customer. Despite the fact that the glass cracking was not covered by the warranty, Mark replaced the glass at no cost to me. And he did so in his usual highly professional fashion, taking the time for great care for and attention to detail.

I have a unique home in which the main floor has an open floor plan and above it all is a 25 foot skylight. The skylight was aging and causing concern that is might fail. I called several groups and no one would really give me a reasonable estimate for work. (This lead me to believe that they did not really want to tackle such a challenging job.) Mark from Natural Light Skylight came in and really showed an interest in my house and the aesthetics of the design. He guided our decisions through from beginning to completion and has been very responsive to any follow up needed over the past YEAR (+). We are very pleased with the final product and what this business has provided to us both initially and over time.

Mark called made an appointment to give an estimate. His schedule open up and he was able to come earlier then planned. He called and arrive at new time. He was very informative and provided his estimate. Mark and his employee arrived at the schedule time proceeded to work and completed the installation a little more then five hours. After completion of his work there was no sign that he had been there. He protected all my furniture and rugs. Mark was very professional and knowledgable and I enjoyed working with him. I would recommend him to anyone looking for installation of sun tubes.

We had a leak in our kitchen ceiling in February and immediately called our roofer (who had replaced the roof in 2001 (the roof is 'guaranteed for life'). They said someone would be out 'in the next day or two." Three and a half weeks later the guy finally showed up and determined that our skylight - and not the roof - was leaking. He told us that he'd notify the office and they would contact us to discuss skylight replacement. Given our very bad follow-up experiences with these folks over the years, I checked Angie's list for skylight contractors. Natural Light Skylight had excellent ratings and we called them immediately. By the end of the day we had a quote and by noon the next day, the kitchen skylight and guest bathroom skylights had been replaced and those in our solarium had been cleaned. The installer was courteous and very professional. We did not realize that the bathroom skylight was also leaking until he checked it out and showed us the evidence.
