Doctor handles all of our vet calls. We will continue to use her.

i had a diabetic cat and they were wonderful with her and with helping me. The prescribed medications for her. Right now my current cat I pick up a probiotic to help her with her digestive problems. That cleared up the problem. Just a little food supplement. MY other cat was a diabetic and she lasted a long time with their help. It was great. They have been great all through the years. I have been using them since 2001. She is a healthy cat and does not have any issues right  now. I have not had a bad experience with them. I would use them again.

They get all A's. They are fantastic. I love them. I have used them for 2 pets in successive order. I would use them again. I my cat died I would get a new pet and use them. The wait time is not bad. It is usually 5-10 minute maybe tops. Unless there is an emergency, they get right to you. From the receptionist to the doctor they are all great. They are gentle and loving. They are in that field because they love animals.

I think that was a $35 visit. I have never gone anywhere else except for this one particular doctor. The vet interacts very well with my pet. What keeps me going back is just the whole office, the personality and the extreme knowledge of the vet.

I have 2 dogs and 3 cats so I practically live there. I go to Dr. Erdman there and he is very competent. Dr. Earp is also equally good.

I'm not sure why this vet office gets such high reviews. I brought my cat in for a first exam and the exam was haphazard at best. For a 15 year old cat, you'd think the exam would be more thorough, but her eyes weren't checked, no one looked at her teeth and her body exam was done much too quickly. Instead of spending more time with my cat, I was given a 20 minute lecture/dissertation on the history of cat vaccines and ear drops, all the while my cat was howling and stressed out about being there in the first place.

If I hadn't stopped the lecture, we'd have been then an hour - I'm absolutely sure of that.

The location was convenient, that's for sure. Not sure if I'll go back there or not.

I like them. The doctors there are incredible. I have a neighbor that works there, and she recommended the vets. Both vets are very thorough. The vet I use is very thorough, and she is slow but she takes the time with you. I have done alternative things with my boys in the past, and she is very open. Sometimes doctors aren't good if you ask a lot of questions, but she is very good about that. I took information about my other boy, and she was very good about that, and told me what she thought.

We decided to try Laurelwood Animal Hospital because the routine exams on our fur child at the other vet had become more expensive that our own routine exams! AND since we were only there once or twice a year we never saw the same vet twice. Undoubtedly competent people, but it was like a revolving door with the exception of the head vet and we never could find anyone who actually saw him!
While it may be different at a peak appointment time, we were immediately struck by how calm and relaxed the waiting area was and how friendly and low key the front office staff is. We were back in the office very shortly and you could almost hear Asta Astaire mumbling and quot;oh boy, here we go again; more poking and prodding. Puhleeze, may we go home and never leave again!and quot; (She's an indoor cat.)
When Dr. Erdman came in the room, nothing happened. What I mean by that is that she didn't head for Asta, even to pet her, just stood and talked with us for a few minutes giving Asta time to get used to someone else being there. So when she finally did pet Asta, it was clear to our cat that we had already welcomed and approved of Lynn Erdman!
The exam proceeded well; Asta was quiet and cooperative; we were thrilled and delighted, and even when Dr. Erdman did need to cause some discomfort, she did it so gently that there was only one tiny, half-hearted growl from our sweet kitty. After a discussion of diet, Dr. Erdmann gave us one of the diet kibbles to try and urged us to call her if Asta didn't like the food so we could stop by for a different sample. Wow, that never happened before! She really wanted to make sure that our cat liked what she was eating before we had to pay for it!
So even though Asta would have preferred to not be there, it was a great experience for us and pretty darn good for her! And the charges were so much less than at the former vet that we almost decided to go out to dinner . . . but Asta insisted we stay home, so we did, although we refused ti share her diet food!
My husband and I both give Laurelwood our highest recommendation!!! In addition to good, thorough, gentle care, Laurelwood also has state of the art equipment -- good to know if and when needed.

I highly recommend Dr. Ron Earp to anyone looking for a professional, caring, and educated vet. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, discuss options, doesn't force his opinion on you, and he always, always returns your phone calls/email. He respects me and my research and always treats my pets with love and attention.

We are still working together with her for a safe treatment. Our dog is particularly hard to treat and Dr. Erdman and we do not want to use an unproven treatment. Dr. Erdman will call us on the weekends, her days off, whenever she can just to check in. She really cares about the critters she treats!

You can be sure that Dr. Erdman's vetrinary educational status is the very highest. She stays up on current treatments. When we called Dr. Erdman recently about our dog's eating issue, she had us come in immediately. Her staff will assess your pet's condition when you call ASAP and determine whether you will get in right away or receive a very effective call from Dr. Erdman herself. Dr. Earp is great, too. We've only seen him twice, but we were equally impressed. We love Laurelwood Animal Hospital. You will, too.
