The plumber was very professional and efficient. He installed the new toilet and was careful to not hit any walls or anything while bringing in the new toilet or taking out the old one. He also made sure the area was thoroughly cleaned before he left, and took the huge box and plastic that came with the old toilet.

I had never had an exterior drain problem before and Cliff took the time to explain a step-by-step plan for what he would do to test and repair the problem and addressed several ways it could be solved. He gave me a cost estimate which was right on the money and how long it would approximately take. The project was done in one day and the ground / barkdust that was dug up to remove / replace the pipe looked much better than it had before. Before Cliff arrived, he phoned me to receive my permission to start earlier than the appointed time, which was appreciated. Cliff is very professional in dealing with customers and in his work. Enjoyed working with him and Kennedy Plumbing.

They were the only ones who had responded as it was on Christmas Eve that I called. They had to come back a couple of times to finish the work. I was really happy with their promptness and service. They were very good.

I had used them several years ago and they did a good job. They were responsive so I thought I would use them again but I chose another company over them. They were pretty much standard plumbing company so their prices were standard too. They did good work. I suppose I would use them again if needed.

They were wonderful. It turned out very very well. The only negative thing I would say is that they referred me to another company to close up the ceiling after they were finished with the work. The other company was terrible. I would use them again, but I would not accept one of the referrals.

Not enough time to tell all. They came the day I called, though it was very cold and people were still having multitudinous problems with freeze-related problems, and I had been told it would take a day or two for them to get there. They called on the afternoon of the day I called and said the guy would be here in an hour, and he was. It took him less than an hour to finish, and everything was neat and tidy when he left. He also showed how to turn off the control (faucet inside the sheet rock of the garage, and he pointed out another turnoff for outside water, under my kitchen sink. Very helpful!

I called them on New Year's Day and George answered the call. When he heard that I had an emergency, he reprioritized his workload and came over right away. He assessed the situation promptly and got everything under control. He helped me get the best sump pump product for my home, and did a great job installing it. He was honest and professional and his recommendations saved me a lot of money. I would highly recommend their service.

My house is 50 years old...I 'd noticed that I wasn't getting good water pressure. The plumber flushed all my water pipes, so I now have good water pressure- it's like a 'new house'. Also, I was afraid that I'd have to replace a vintage toilet, but the plumber was able to rebuild the 'insides'. I would highly recommend using this plumbing company.

Cliff came out within 45 minutes of our initial call - INCREDIBLE punctuality. He looked at the problem and quickly told us it was a main line issue, something he wasn't equipped to fix. He gave us a suggestion on a couple drain / rooter companies to call, and didn't charge us a penny. Very impressive customer service and very patient even though we weren't going to do any business today. I cannot say enough good things about Kennedy Plumbing - I'll use them in the future based on this experience.

I was able to schedule on short notice at the times requested and they even accommodated changes in the flooring contractor's schedule. The extra steps to confirm appointment times and call in advance of actually showing up were really appreciated. I especially liked that the service man was extra careful not to scratch or scuff the new floor.

They were wonderful and they came on time. They knew what they were doing. It was a very positive experience.

We love Kennedy Plumbing; we think they are wonderful. They have taken care of a lot of problems at our house, where we?ve lived for 20 years now. They have always done wonderful work for us. They have been very prompt. Their prices are reasonable. Once, when the bath tub spout broke, the water was flowing through the ceiling. They came out and put in a new bidet in the bath tub. In terms of pricing, Kennedy Plumbing has always been competitive. Even if they were expensive, we?d call them anyway because they are so good and reliable. We?ve stayed in this area for a long time and we?ve never heard anyone complain about their service. We?ve had plenty of contractors and sub-contractors before, who have been horrible. However, Kennedy Plumbing is really great. They are the only people that we call for plumbing work.

They did a great job! There was some more stuff that needed to be done, but since this job took so long they had to go to another job. I am going to have them come back and finish some other stuff. I thought the price was great for what they did.

We are familiar with the people that do the work. We are satisfied with the quality. As far as pricing goes, we can't compare. I feel that the pricing is reasonable for the work that they do. Their communication is fine. We can go into their store and talk to people.

They are good and work quickly. They have all the latest technology in the field. They are very responsive and the workers are all very nice. Their hourly charges are average, but they work quickly so the cost for our latest project wasn't too much.

Phoned and got an appointment for the next day. The plumber came right when he said he would. Did a good job and really cleaned up after himself. Up front he said what all the parts would cost and that the job would be close to 1-1/2 hours which turned out to be just that, but he didn't give the hourly rate and I didn't ask. The only surprise was that Kennedy's Plumbing's hourly charge is $ 115.00 and I paid $ 172.50 for the 1-1/2 hours. Not sure what the going rate is for plumbers, but the last time I paid a plumber $80.00 per hour (just two years ago). Money aside, he did a good job.

The repair was fine, but he left me feeling unsure about what problem I might be facing with the wet spot in the adjacent room. They charged me a 1/2 hour of their on-site rate for driving time - didn't like that and that's the reason I might not use them again.The hourly fee should be for plumbing skills NOT driving skills!

The plumber was late, but did call to say to say so. I like that they wear booties over their shoes as to not soil the floors. The plumber was able to clear the clogged drain and also corrected the undersink plumbing that was not properly installed by a previous owner. The plumber ran a few test to make sure that the drain was in deed cleared, and took care to clean up after himself.

Jorge from Kennedy Plumbing came out on Wednesday to fix the leaking toilet and to examine the old galvinized plumbing system in my home. I was concerned because another plumber had come out a few weekends ago to replace an outdoor spigot. The man had to go in my basement to check the main valve. He came upstairs with an ashen face and a grave demeanor and told me that my whole plumbing system was about to give out and that it should be replaced immediately. Jorge from Kennedy Plumbing had been to my home in the past. He always did a good job and he struck me as a very honest person. So for this new set of issues, I called Kennedy again and asked specifically for Jorge. I asked him to complete an inspection. He said that because the pipes are galvanized, they may need to be replaced in 5-6 years, but that he could discern no immediate issues - "no signs of any leakage that should worry the homeowner." This kind of honesty is what I have come to expect of Jorge. He tells you like it is. I am a single woman who doesn't know anything about pipes. Jorge is great at figuring out what needs to be done and what doesn't. His customer are more than dollar signs to him. I asked him to come back the next day to fix the washing machine plumbing. The pipes at the back of the machine overflowed everytime I ran it, and this had been going on for a few years. He told me ahead of time what the cost would be, and he was right on. The job took him a little over three hours. He explained what he was doing and why, he told me what to do to maybe cut his time down a bit to save me some money. By the time he left, the toilet was working, the washing machine was no longer spewing water all over the basement floor, the outdoor spigot was no longer leaking (I asked him to replace it - he said it just needing tightening, so more savings there), and I am happy to know that I do not have to immediately shell out thousands of dollars for complete pipe replacement in my home. I will never again make the mistake of calling this other company. Trust and honesty are the backbone of a good business, and Jorge represents his employer well.

Called company mentioning that I had gotten their name from Angie's List. Told them clearly the nature of the problem - clogged drain in kitchen that interfered with garbage disposal and backing up in dishwasher and other sink. Requested quote. Gave clear quote of price including travel time one way. Plumber arrived promptly on time and performed service with little conversation. Upon receiving bill there was an extra price of $40.00 for the use of an electric "snake" and $5 for supplies (glue for pipe and a drop cloth for kitchen floor). I expressed concern about cost of the snake and fact that quote did not include any mention of that as a fee when problem was clearly described and probability of "snake" being needed was extremely high. Received no response from plumber. Later called Kennedy Plumbing and spoke to person who provided quote. He did not appear to take my complaint seriously that I should have been provided some indication of additional expenses, stating that he should not be expected to have to quote for all contingencies. I told him that I believed that the likelihood of needing to snake the drain was very high and foreseeable and that I believed it should be included in the quote. I did not say, but believe, that given I was paying $115/hr with an hour minimum, an extra charge of $40 for a 5 minute use of a snake is both excessive and should have been indicated when asked about fees.

WELL BUT PRICE AT $115/ HOUR WAS TERRIBLE AND MORE THAN ANY PLUMBER I HAVE EVER USED

Three day schedule, excellent management from Joel and the office staff, complete and total clean up, all the workers very friendly, helpful, and informative, especially Jorge.

Jorge (George) spent an hour snaking to remove the plug. It was an unusual situation in that the plug was in a common pipe from a shower on one side of the wall and a tub/shower on the other side. So he went back and forth between rooms, trying unsuccessfully to unplug the drain. He was able to fix the toilet quickly (it had started filling continuously and he just needed to adjust something in the tank). He moved to the kitchen faucet and replaced washers, improving the water pressure (this was the problem I'd reported to him). But once the water pressure to the faucet improved, it revealed a thin crack in the body of the faucet that couldn't be repaired. So I opted to re-schedule Kennedy for the next day to take another crack at the plugged drain and install a new faucet that I would buy. The next morning, Luther arrived promptly and we looked over the situation. The evening before, my husband and I had decided to have Kennedy install a cleanout valve so we could tackle nasty plugs on our own in the future (this particular pipe has clogged several times). So my husband and I cleared an area in a storeroom below the baths and he made a small opening in the wall to show where the pipe was. Luther took a look at it, enlarged the hole, unplugged the pipe from below and installed the cleanout. Then he installed the new faucet in the kitchen. The price I reported for this work includes the $170 that I spent on the new faucet. Jorge and Luther were both professional and I was comfortable with both of them. I wonder if I might have saved a bit of money if Luther had come from the beginning. When I called the scheduler, I reported that my husband had already rented a power snake and worked onthe drain for some time. When Jorge was unable to clear the drain, he mentioned that Luther was sometimes able to clear things that he couldn't get. So with the knowledge that this was a bad plug, Kennedy might have done better for me by sending Luther at the start. It might have saved me that hour of labor.... But since we just had Luther install the cleanout and didn't ask him to snake the pipe from above, we'll never know.

Gave us a window of time for service and the call that the plumber was on his way came early in the window. The only problem I had was that this plumbing company was located about a mile away from my house, but the plumber took 30 minutes to get to my house - for which I was charged. I am not against charging for travel time, but next time I will ask for the first call of the day so that I'm paying for 5 minutes of travel, instead of 30 minutes. Other than that, the plumber was polite, did the work quickly, gave me the information I wanted, and cleaned up well after performing the service.
