The positive comment is that the actual key portion of the job did work. i.e. the new keys would turn the locks if one deadbolt was left loose.  
The reason I am positing a negative review is because the provider did something to the front door deadbolt so that the fixture could not be tightened down to the door with the screws & also open.  As he left it, the screws were left loose on the deadbolt fixture because if he tightened them, the door would not open at all.  This was not the case before he arrived at my home.
Could be coincidence, but also the doorknob on one of the doors broke within 2 weeks of his visit.  This knob had been a new purchase within 4 months of the re-key.

The serviceman showed up as we scheduled.  He was very professional and pointed out some issues with the installed locks.  We discussed the differences in some of the locks in the house.  He completed the re-keying and fixed the issues.

I originally called another locksmith that was closer to my area but they could not come out until a week later.  Found Davis Lock and Safe on the list although it was further down and in another city, I'm glad I called them.  Chris was very helpful and got me scheduled the next day!  The locksmith that came out was Phillip, he called before arriving which was great.  Phillip was very professional and answered all questions.  He offered to key the three locks to same key for convenience.  He did an excellent job on the new deadbolt and fixing the latch.  Would use and recommend them for future service.

My deadbolt lock on the front door refused to work. So i had to dis-assemble it to get it unlocked. After looking on Angie's List, Davis lock And key was at the top of the list and with an A rating. Plus it wasn't too far from my home. So I took the deadbolt mechanism off the door and went to their store. THESE PEOPLE KNOW LOCKS! I got there, and was immediately helped. I explained the problem and he looked at the mechanism and within 30 seconds told me my problem. I had a cracked piece that fit around the spindle and it was causing all the problem. So he went in the back looking for a replacement piece and came out with the good news/bad news scenario. Bad news - the lock itself was out of production and there were no replacement parts. The lock was only 10 years old. BUT Good News - They had a shaft with the spindle that was the exact same size that would work as the replacement. Cost - $20.00 and I worked with the same key. So total time to remove the deadbolt from the door, drive to the Locksmith, get the part and drive back and install it - less than ONE HOUR. Love it. IF I ever have a lock problem again I will go to Davis Lock and Key. They are fast, professional and reasonable. Great experience. And for the record, the replacement spindle worked perfectly.

What a great company to work with.  I lost the key on my 2012 Mazda 3 and the dealership wanted $350.00 to replace and program the key.  A friend told me about this place and I called, they wanted a 100 less than Mazda, hello guess who I choose. I would much rather deal with a small locally owned company anyway and I got to save a 100 bucks to boot.



Great little shop and super nice guys that work there.  They ordered my key fob, called me when it came in,  made the actual key and programmed it all the space of 15 minutes.  Great guys.  It has a full warranty and they will take care of any future issues, my key looks exactly like my old one and works perfectly.  



I had no idea they also did locks sets for your home, I will keep that in mind.



Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone.  



To the previous reviewer, remember the adage you pay for what you get!  These folks are professionals and make their living making and dealing with locks and keys!

Very good.  Walked in and was greeted, had to wait, but that was ok.  When I was helped, very fast, nice and knowledgeable so much so.  We'll open an account.

They did an excellent job.  He had to do a special job because it was not just a standard lock but he did a great job.  He did exactly what I wanted and we were totally happy.

Prompt, friendly and to the point.  Very professional.  Showed up on time and completed the work prompty.

Their locksmith arrived on time.  He very friendly and courteous, he clearly explained the repair and performed his work quickly. I strongly recommend Davis Lock and Safe.
