Everything went well.  Prompt. Professional. Reasonable.

I hired A&J to do a survey of my sprinkler system, adjust the timing so that different zones received the right amount of water and let me know if anything needed work.  We had just moved into a new house and have 2 sprinkler control boxes and I just needed to make sure that we were watering correctly around the yard.  Tim came out and he brought a novice apprentice with him.  So the first surprise was that instead of the quote of $90 / hour, I would now be paying $180 / hour because I was paying for two workers.  The junior employee did not contribute his own expertise, instead just followed Tim around so I felt really taken advantage of to pay a full rate for his time.  Then Tim just set all my zones for equal amounts of watering.... 10 minutes each zone every day.  As the weather got warm and I started watering, this resulted in soggy grass and overwatered plants in some areas and dried out grass and plants in areas of full sun.  The loss of one mature plant in a sunny spot was the trigger to realize that I had to go back and do the work myself, adjusting for the right amount of water throughout the yard.  Adding insult to injury was the $300+ water bill for my soggy grass.  I contacted the owner Al and he had the most awkward response to me.  Instead of responding to me directly, he just forwarded my email to Tim and asked him to get back to me.  It was so unprofessional I did not even know how to respond.  I am the owner of a small business, and if someone has a problem with one of my employees, I'm certainly going to address it myself so that I can be aware of any problems and also do my best to make the customer happy.  Maybe Al is too busy to do this or just doesn't care.  I will not do business with this company again and do not recommend them.

Trees were removed quickly, larger tree stump was completely ground and removed.  On the retaining walls it was frustrating that I couldn't get A&J to recommend more options of materials.  Provided gray stones are ok but felt there was better options.  Team seemed to work slow until owner came out and watched over them.  Overall work was performed completely but would look for competitive bids on future work.

The company arranged an appointment as rapidly as possible.  The technician arrived on time, was very personable and professional. and got right to the necessary work, which was done rapidly and is still working a year later!  The cost was very reasonable.   I would definitely use this company again.

Took a few days to get out, due to a lot of irrigation work happening, with our warm, dry summer. But, Tim does a great job, and is prompt, friendly, and efficient. 
I would recommend them any time, and have on a couple of occasions.

Tim and his partner called and said they could come out earlier than expected, which I was completely fine with. They arrived and got right to work repairing a broken irrigation pipe, which took them about 15 minutes.  They then adjusted 3 sprinkler heads, replaced two that were leaking and moved another to a different location.  Tim was more than happy to answer all my questions and show me how things worked.  Both Tim and his partner were friendly and very professional.  I didn't feel like they were in a hurry to get to their next job, which was nice.  This was the first time I've used this company and based on the reviews, I'm glad I did.  I'd recommend them to others and would not hesitate to use them again. I'm very pleased with how everything turned out!

Tim provided excellent service. He did not fix anything that was working adequately, but he identified a couple of problems I hadn't known about. He and his assistant came exactly when they said they would come, finished the job in just a couple of hours, and ended up coming in at the low end of the original estimate.

Very punctual.  On time.  Efficient.  Prompt and courteous service.  Called back quickly.  Came out when he said he would (did I mention he was on time?).  Fixed 2 broken sprinkler heads.  Made sure rest of the sprinklers in the yard were working correctly.  Will definitely use again and I recommend them highly.

Tim showed up on Memorial Day (his request, not mine) and immediately repaired the above ground broken PVC pipes. He then tested station valves and quickly found the bad one and replaced it. He then tested the entire system several times to assure that all worked well. I was very impressed with his knowledge and that he had all necessary parts in his truck. Job well done !

Al and his crews did an excellent job of all tasks.  Very professional, puntual and good to work with.  We have used Al's services for removal of several trees, hedge & shrub trimming, and tree spraying.  I've always been pleased with his service and pricing is very reasonable.

Excellent!  Could not have had a better service.  Al came out to see the yard at the beginning. Once the service began, it was clearly superior to other service providers that we have used in the past.

They were able to come within 2 days of me calling them (much faster than I expected given that it was the first dry week of the spring).  They started by addressing the problems that we had found when we tested the system.  Then they ran a test of all zones and fixed additional problems that weren't apparent until after the initial problems had been fixed.  They also adjusted some heads to ensure they were hitting what they should be & not watering the sidewalk.I had used them once before and, as with the first time, they were knowledgeable and efficient and had the problems fixed in no time.  I will definitely call them again.

Tim was great!  He quickly found the problem with the low pressure in my system, made the needed repairs, adjusted & replaced several sprinkler heads, showed me how to get better performance from the system -- all for less than half the price of another quote I received.  Can't say enough about how pleased I am!

Tim and John were great!  I explained which areas I wanted more water and which I wanted less.  Tim told me if he agreed and if he disagreed and why.  I really appreciated his professional advice.  Tim and John replaced one lawn sprinkler head with one that was more appropriate for the area and moved one sprinkler head to better reach a section of lawn that was difficult to cover.  After John laid the new pipe and replaced the sod, it was impossible to tell any changes had been made.

EXTREMELY responsive!!  Actually came over to the house while I was not there, diagnosed issues, and repaired/serviced as much as could be done from outside of the house. 
Since they did not have access to the clock/timer inside my garage, they returned a couple of days later, serviced the unit, and it is now up and running.
Tim was extremely helpful, professional, and easy to do business with.
I would strongly recommend this company based on this "small" experience.

This year, for the third time, Tim from A & J Landscape came out and made sure our sprinklers were working as expected. He went all around the house and made some adjustments and checked the timer. He is quick and efficient. The sprinklers are working fine.  I am sure the price was so low because he had made more major adjustements over the last two years.

Does a great job each week.  Many have complimented me on my lawn . . . somehow they know it is not me doing the work.  My landscaping always looks great.  I would not hesitate to recommend him and his company to anyone.
