I took it to the shop; I had to get a tow truck to tow the car from my home to their shop. It was there for a couple of days. They then called me and I explained to them the work I needed them to do. They gave me a round-about price, but not the total since they didn't know the scope of the problem. I told them there was no rush. After a month later, I called them to see if they hat started the work first. They said they started the car and they mentioned that it had no gas. Then they called me back and told me that the full pump was bad. I told them to give me a price, I would then call my husband and then I would call them to give them the go ahead. Since then then they had lost the key to the car, which was the only key I had for the car. I told them they would have to get a new key for that. Then they started the work for the fuel pump. Chet mentioned that they had a program for single mothers where they give the car to single mothers; Basically I would pay for the parts, they would pay for the labor and then they would donate the care. I talked to my husband and he said not to do it. I called them and told them we would have to pass. Everytime I called he kept bringing up this program. Finally he gave me a date for when the car would be fixed. I took the day off and had a friend drive me all the way there, it was about 5 hours away. I got there, paid for the car and then the car would not work. They told me to give them an hour and they would check to see what the problem was. On top of that they ordered another part for the car, installed it without letting me know about it or asking me if it was okay. I then asked for paperwork to see if the part they charged me for was used or new. It seemed like he brushed me off and didn't give me a definite answer. I did some research and the parts online were cheep, but the most of the cost of the service was for labor. When we went back, the car was still not fixed, they said they will work on it but they had to reorder a new part and install that. The owner was nice and he did refund my money, but I told them not to call me until the car is fixed; They called me a week ago and told me that the car is fixed, but now I am hesitate to take another day off of work to pick up my car if it doesn't work again and we have the same instance.

I scheduled my vehicle for a routine oil change, then I started experiencing some transmission problems prior to taking it in for service, so I advised them off the problem and could they take a look at it as well, so I dropped my car off as normal for the day later that day I called to see if the vehicle was finished, that's when they told me the transmission had leaked all the fluid out due to a gasket failure around the pan area in which was covered under warranty and they would have it done by the next week once the parts came in, so the next week I called to check on the status, at this time they tell me the transmission is running poorly, so they needed to change out a wire harness and said he would keep me posted on the progress, but from that point I didn't hear from them for two straight weeks, so I Called the next week and he told me he didn't know what was going on with the vehicle now because it won't stay anymore, but he's working on it continuously to get it resolved, weeks pass with no update, so I call again to check the status, at this point they are not accepting my calls, so I leave a message to call me back, but no call ever came, so I went by the shop to find my car in front of the building outside unattended, so I kindly asks the manager of I needed to take my vehicle to another shop to get it back functional, and he insisted he is putting all his resources into fixing the problem, so I allowed them the opportunity to make things right before taking drastic steps to get it done myself. The next week he takes it to another dealership for assistance who determines (from what he tells me) that the transmission needed replaced. So long story short, they finished the vehicle at the other dealership 4/18/14 (almost 4 months later). I picked up the car to find out the transmission was shifting hard when taking off and the radio, the two driver side windows aren't working properly. In tell, they did not inspect the vehicle upon my arriving to pick it up. So I would say they have poor responsibility, punctuality, reliability, and service issues.

I got an estimate about replacing my two front tie rod ends and when I took it in they said only one needed to be replaced so my cost was of course less than the estimate. They did a good job and seem to be a place I can trust since they don't do unnecessary work. I would definately recommend them and have heard only good things about this business.

Very good. Have used Briarwood for many years and they are always dependable and will not waste your time and money. They have plenty of business because of their reputation and honest work so if you need something done right, see them. If they can't do it, they will let you know who to go to that will do a good job. If the work is not needed, they will tell you.

Briarwood has been my goto service shop for several years. They are family owned and operated and are always honest, professional and KNOW what they are doing. If you go somewhere else and are quoted on something like needing new brake rotors etc, check with Briarwood first, they will tell you for sure what's really needed.
They also sometimes do extra things for you that they notice. Had my minivan in for transmission replacement and I think they cleaned the brakes too because they were squealing. They have cleaned them before so they know it is a problem. These are really GOOD people to trust your cars to.

There was no charge because it was a follow up. I always have a good experience with them. They are reasonably priced. I can usually get in whenever I need to. They are honest and they explain things pretty well in in laymen's terms. They work on different kind of cars. If I get my oil changed at the dealer and they tell me things that I need done, I will take my car to Briarwood and they will tell me if I need to have the work done or not. They also will do the work cheaper.
