and this is the third occastion this summer this specific unit has malfunctioned. Neil's was the company who worked the service call on the two priors. Both of my units are old and will require replacing soon. Guess who is not getting that job?
Description of Work: One of two of my a/c units stopped cooling on the hotest day in Oklahoma history (Wednesday, August 1st, 2012). Neils Heat & Air could not schedule an appointment until Monday, August 6th. I called the company on Monday morning at approximately 8:00 am to ask them to give me a call on my cell phone when they were about 15 minutes away. The dispatcher confirmed my phone number and said they would call me when they were on the way. At approximately 11:00 am, technician called to ask me if anyone was home. I told him I am 15 minutes away and will be home shortly. He said he could not wait and that I would have to call to make another appointment. I told him I had called their dispatcher first thing this morning and asked for a call to give me time to get home. The technician said he "could not wait" and humg-up.

Horrible. Stay away from this company at all costs. Took 2 days to have them come out. Came out without tools or parts. Had to go back and get a motor that he "hoped" would work. Demanded $60 payment anyway for just showing up. Another day lost. Came back out another day with what appeared to be a used fan motor. Did not bring fan cage. Cannot install motor without fan cage. Tech asked me to call his own office for him to order fan motor and cage and set up appointment for following week. Did so and had them schedule me for first installation the following week. Following week arrives. No show. Call their office. No history of appointment. No record of my call from prior week. No order made for fan motor or cage. They had no idea when or if they could order parts or come out to install. Refused to give any idea of when the install would occurr, when or if parts had been actually ordered and basically told me the customer to get "@%$#$!" if I did not like it. Oh yeah by the way they would still be demanding more money..... Still without airconditioning, still without any call as to date or time when they would be around. Finally gave up and went with another contractor who would come out that day and likely had these common parts in stock. Unless you simply enjoy paying up front for verbal abuse by beliigerent and nonproductive contractors run away from Neil's Heat and Air as quickly as possible and hold on to your wallet.
