Service expert Matt Reed arrive on time, was professional and thorough. Explained the upfront charges and indicated the likely variations (not price - just possible outcomes). He did not attempt to persuade any particular course of action, just began his 'detection' work and found a simple cause for our issue, fixed it and checked other areas which could have contributed to the problem and found them - as he figured - NOT to be an issue. Cost was reasonable and I would hire them again, in fact I have another job lined up in a few weeks.

My water heater started leaking on a Sunday afternoon. Matt Reed with Torch Service Company came out that afternoon stopped the leak and brought me a new water heater the next day, installed it for me. Matt did a great job and I am very pleased with my new water heater. I will definitely call them again.

Do not hire these people! I do not know if they are not competent or intentionally claim things need to be done in ways to raise cost. A $135 job cost $760 and ended with suggestion not to use toilet paper and next time tell plumber to use clean out under the sink (which is something I would have trusted plumber to know and try before the expensive options they said were required). Oh, and then there was the sludge under the hallway runner (house smelled like raw sewage tiles I figured that out and threw out runner and cleaned floor) and yesterday finished the cleanup by having to repaint the 1/2 bath that had not even been used since it was professionally painted. Stuff was splattered on the lower part of the wall and fingerprints down the door frame. The guys were nice but that does not count for much in this case. And when I questioned the bill the owner of the business said if they charged by the hour instead of by the job it would have cost more. The problem is that they did so many expensive things they did not need to because they insisted that was how things needed to be done and finally ended up using the clean out under the sink where they should have started I guess because they said next time I should tell plumber to start there and it would only cost $135 instead of tearing house apart and charging for so many things they did not need to do. The attitude of the owner is what makes me say do not use them. It makes me suspect this is not an isolated case. This was my first time using Home Advisor and had planned to use them for other work on the house I just bought but now am afraid to trust their referrals. An expensive lesson in both $, worry that I do not even know how well job was finally done and expenses for cleanup which looked superficially ok until the smell did not go away and I identified the reasons.

Torch responded quickly and was able to accommodate my schedule.

The work and customer service from Matt were exceptional. Very pleased with results. Only suggestion is more product selection/choices in toilets, and I passed this along to the company, which was well-received. Will call them again if needed!!

Plumber Raul was very nice, friendly, and respectful. Lady in the office was very helpful and quick and helpful in addressing questions.

This guy charged me $145.00. He said it was for parts and labor. But it took him less than minutes to complete the job. He replaced a part that cost $18 in the home depot $24 if you want the best one in the market. Torch advertising cheap rate, funny..

Great people, however they neglected to advise me on a hundred and fifty dollar call fee until they were on route to my job. A simple pex elbow and small piece of pex piping. Cost my eight five-year old mother-in-law. 371.00, never again!

The project was completed on time and as quoted. Installer was professional, courteous and left the work area cleaner than he found it. This business actually answers the phones and returns calls when they say they will. This alone puts them in the top 1% of all companies I deal with these days. Highly recommended.

Everyone was super proactive and the process happened exactly as they said it would. We will not hesitate to call Torch for our plumbing needs!
