They're pretty much like an all-purpose automotive repair. They're the only people we go to.

About a month prior I had an oil leak they repaired it and about a week later I received a water leak. My radiator had a crack in it. They repaired it and called me early the next morning to tell me it was ready to be picked up.

They've been great! There have been a few occasions where they offered some very helpful advice that saved us money, and that's what's led me to stay with them. They're a little more expensive on oil changes, but otherwise are very professional.

On the Labor Day weekend I visited with Battison Honda regarding a noise I was hearing under my car on the right front end after hitting a
pothole. Recommendation was made that I needed new brakes AND that I needed a new axle on my front end because it was bent. After getting a quote of $1,472.00 to do the repairs, I told the Battison Honda service guy I needed to have another repair shop give me an opinion. He cautioned me that although he didn't think the axle would break, I certainly didn't want to wait too long to get it repaired.
I did some research and found out that Swanson's Tire had a good reputation for doing this kind of work. Popped in on them Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. without an appointment and asked for a second opinion. The gentleman behind the counter told me if I could leave the car, they could take a look. Even before my ride had come to pick me up they had diagnosed the problem, agreed I needed a new front axle because it needed a new CV boot and it would be less expensive in the long run to just replace the axle. The price he quoted was $1,000 less than the Honda dealership!!
Of course, I told him to do the work. They called me at 11:30 with it completed. Very professional, very polite and no pressure. He did tell me they can do a majority of my automotive work. For sure I have found a new auto repair place!! I will NEVER take my car back to Battison Honda! I realize that Honda's quote was for and quot;Honda madeand quot; parts AND I know that dealership service departments are typically more expensive but I feel like the Honda dealership's quote was highway robbery!

I have traded with Swanson's for 35 years. They have always been trustworthy, honest, professional, and reasonably priced. They do so much more than tires. They always check your oil, transmission fluid, radiator fluid and tire pressure without being asked. If they find additional work that needs to be done, it needs to be done. They never try to sell you something you don't need. They are dependable, reliable and never use pressure tactics. I never take my cars to a dealer, because they always charge twice as much and never seem completely honest. The tires I bought were even better than the last set I bought--and cheaper! I will never trade anywhere else.

When they say free estimate they mean it. I brought my Honda in for a second opinion on a particularly troublesome issue with the air conditioning clutch. There was no pressure to use their shop to do the work. The waiting room was nice and clean. I found another place that was more reasonable when it came to price and specialized specifically in Honda's. I'd trust the Swanson's to do the work though,

Return time and time again to them for work on all our cars.

It's always a positive experience at Swanson's. They get the work done as quickly, correctly and economically as possible.

I called to let them know of the problem, they set up an appt to look at it, however, they got to it a day earlier than they said. They called to let me know of the work and pricing, typed up an estimate for me and gave me some ideas on how to save some money on the repair. Now, this may not happen to a lot of people, but they called me after the work was completed and took off some of the labor charges, because, and quot;the component was easier to get to than they anticipatedand quot;. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Who does that? Such honesty from this company and gentlemen. Car was finished earlier than I was promised too. Three weeks later, and the repair is still holding and operating great!

They were excellent. It wasn't worth fixing it and they were really nice. My sister, niece and everybody uses them so I started using them.

I had quite a bit of work done there. They were wonderful. They were friendly and professional. What they told me was exactly right. They didn't charge me anymore than what they said and the timing was exactly what they told me it was going to be. Overall, it was a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend them and take my car back to them. They were excellent. I thought they were priced very fairly. I would have definitely paid more if I had gone to a dealer. I haven't had any problems with them.

My experience was good. I don't remember how much the service cost. They were on time and they did well. I would use them again in the future.
