I checked on Angies list for who had the best ratings in the area and they had the best ratings by my house. The are a block away from my house. It seemed pretty good, they did it pretty and got it fixed. I was happy about that. The one thing I hate about getting your car worked on is, it seems like every time you take it in it cost more than you expect. I was kind of worried at first that that was going to happen. Because when I first had it taken up there, a couple days later, he called and he told me that when the water pump goes out it usually bends the rod or something. So I may have to do a head job. So I said how much is that going to be? He said about a thousand dollars. I was like Oh man I don't want to put a thousand dollars in I'll just go buy a new car. I said can you just put the belt and the water pump on and see how it goes from there. He did and brought it back and said it was fine. That time it made me nervous at first because I've had that with a lot of car places, trying to jack the price. For the price, 400 something dollars, I was happy with the whole deal when it was said and done. Ill probably go back there if I need work done again. The work seemed to be real good. Its been running fine ever since I haven't had any problems yet. The only thing I didn't like about them is when I first had it towed up there it took him five days he called me and told me what was wrong with it. I told him to go and fix it and two days later he called me back, and I get paid every Friday, and he called me on a Tuesday. I said well can I come and get it on Thursday? And he goes oh we've got a real small lot and need you to come get it now. That was kind of irritating. The main thing that matters to me, and why I take it back there again, is that it is real hard to find mechanics that don't rip you off.
