Brad and his crew were communicative, prompt, and courteous, but above all they did exemplary work on our home.  Cleaned up after the job, were flexible in working with our schedule, and even asked for our input multiple times to ensure we were pleased with their performance.  I'd recommend him highly to anyone.

We have a brick mailbox and the metal box inside was almost rusted out.  I called another company and they told me they would have to take the brick off of the top to replace the metal box, and then the whole brick mailbox would be a lot shorter.  I've seen a few of these in our neighborhood and they are so ugly.  When I called Brad, he said he didn't need to take any of the brick off, that he could get the metal box out and put in a new one, then used some grout around the outside of it to seal it.  It looks fantastic!

Left first message March12, 2014 that I needed some masonry repair. Did not get a call back. Called again March 14, 2014. Said he would be at my house March 20, 2014, probably after 5 PM. Said he would call and let me know exact time. Did not call. Did not show up. I called again, I believe March 21 and left message that I did not hear from him and would he let me know if he was too busy to work on my house. Have not heard from him as of March 24.

Brad gave me a competitive estimate to replace a damaged mailbox. He shopped around to find my exact brick and rock. The work was done beautifully and on time. I would highly recommend Brad for any small masonry job. We are going to have him back out to repair some brick on our house.

Excellent job. Brad is a skilled craftsman. We had our den fireplace refaced with natural stone. This room has vaulted ceilings approx 20 ft. high so it was not a small job. He placed each stone individually and did amazing work. It has become a real focal point of the room and we receive many compliments on it. So glad we found Brad through Angie's list. He took time to listen to us and offered several suggestions. He gave us direction on where to go to look at stone and explained each different type and what type of look we could achieve according to our choice. He was clean, showed up on time, and even stayed late the final day in order to finish the project for us in time for an upcoming family gathering. If you have any masonry work to be done, call Brad Hill. He is a conscientious and very skilled mason.

The provider responded quickly to my initial request for an estimate. He had to miss the first date set for the repairs due to the weather but he called and rescheduled. When the day came, what had been an unsightly mess of brick and mortar was now straight, sharp and clean. It took me a minute to realize that the work had been done because there was no mess left on the ground (in fact the driveway and the yard around which the work took place was cleaner after the work had been completed than before). They arrived after I went to work and finished well before I returned home. We are very pleased with the professionalism of this provider.

Brad came over, looked at the damaged brick column and gave me 3 options for repair. It was understood that the repair price may change after he tore down the column. We agreed on an option and a price. Brad showed up on the day he said he would. After he had completed  the demolition, he wanted to talk to me about options. We decided on a 4th option and work progressed. He finished in 2 days. The brick column looks great. He did a great job matching 15 year old brick used in the other 3 columns.

Brad was quick to return my call and scheduled an appointment for a consultation.  He came by and we discussed our options and then provided several quotes for each of the different solutions.  We had called other masons from Angie's list but Brad was the only one that followed through, plus we just liked his professional approach and his ability to explain our options for the repair. He provided several samples of brick to help us select and attempt to match our vintage/historical brick.  He scheduled the job on his calendar to meet our timing issues and the work was done quickly, efficiently and beautifully.  There is nothing more beautiful than the work of a mason that cares about his product.

I have a wing wall that was attached to the main wall and it had separated causing a long line of cracked bricks from the wing wall to the roof. I also had some brick that was cracked around some "planter holders", and had my leaking chimney cap repaired.
Brad was great. He is very easy to talk to, explained what he that we should do and listened to my concerns. He showed up on time, and I thought it would take him all day to do everything, but he was done by 2 pm.
The repairs are flawless. You would never know that there were repairs done by looking at his work. We have an older house, built in '63 so there was no way to match the brick, but we were able to sacrifice some from another wing wall and a ground pad.
The wing wall looks great and where he pulled the bricks from the other wall, he capped nicely. The chimney cap looks great and after a pretty bad storm, no leaks!

This youngman is an excellent businessman and a craftsman.  Within an hour after I contacted him he called to discuss my project and set up an appointment so he could give me an estimate.  He arrived on time, gave me an explanation of his masonary background and experience and conducted a thorough inspection prior to giving me an estimate.   I hired him on the spot and the next morning he arrived at the appointed time.  Brad completed the project on time and on budget.  Upon completion of the job Brad asked me to join him in for a thorough inspection of his work.  The work he performed was excellent - again a true craftsman.  I highly recommend him and, in fact, have already recommended him to a couple of neighbors.

Our fairly young house had settled a bit and as a result, some mortar and bricks were cracked, some significantly. Mr. Hill scheduled an estimate visit for the next day when we called, arrived on time, examined the cracks, and told us he would call the next day with an estimate. He gave us several options for repair, ranging from a bottom-line, sufficient repair, up to a thorough repair with new bricks, and provided corresponding price quotes. Based on prices we'd seen on this site, we felt his prices were very competitive and chose a full repair. He scheduled a date about one week out to perform the repair. He worked quickly, removing the cracked grout and bricks one day, then replacing them and finishing the repair the next day. He cleaned everything up, left no damage to landscaping, and didn't mind the curiosity of our toddlers. When he was done, he offered the option to mail him a check once we'd had a chance to look at everything and make sure we were satisfied. We were, and appreciated his work and professionalism.

Still in the beginning phase, will update as needed

UPDATE::::

DISREGARDING MY MAILBOX BEING HIT BY A TRUCK AND DAMAGED PAST THE POINT OF NO RETURN, OVERALL, THIS HAS BEEN A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

BRAD WENT OUT OF HIS WAY HELPING, HE INSTALLED A TEMP MAILBOX AT THE ONSET, REMOVED BROKEN BRICK, WAITED.....LEFT SEVERAL SAMPLE BRICKS TO CHOOSE FROM.... PATIENTLY FOR INSURANCE TO SETTLE, THIS WAS EASILY WELL OVER A MONTH WAITING.  WHEN ASK IF HE NEEDED A DEPOSIT ON THE JOB OR THE TEMP MAILBOX, HE DECLINED.  HE WAITED UNTIL I HAD RECEIVED PAYMENT AND WAS OUT WITHIN DAYS TO START JOB.  HE FINISHED WELL AHEAD OF SCHEDULE, EVEN WORKING THROUGH THE RAIN AND COLDER TEMPS.  HE KEPT IN TOUCH AND WAS VERY PATIENT THROUGH THIS ORDEAL.

BRAD CAME OUT AND FINISHED MY BRICK MAILBOX YESTERDAY, JANUARY 09, 2013 AND IT LOOKS GREAT.  STAYED WITH SAME DESIGN, CLEANED UP ( CALLED AND ASK IF I WANTED TO KEEP ANY UNBROKEN BRICK AND LEFT THE BRICK WHERE I ASK HIM TO.)

I WOULD LEAVE A HIGHER RATING IF IT WAS POSSIBLE.  I WOULD USE BRAD AGAIN AND HAVE NO HESITATION RECOMMENDING HIM TO EVERYONE.

I AM A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED BRAD DOES NOT DO OTHER TYPE WORK, I WOULD HIRE HIM.

THANKS BRAD

Brad worked so hard, consistently, that he finished the work within a week--and I was picky about getting all the rough areas done.  He even took out a planter that was falling down, and had to pull brick from the fireplace flu on the roof so he could match the brick where the planter was--not an easy task!  and you can't tell where he had to replace brick!  this was an old home and the grout needed to be just right to not look like we had to repair it all over the home--his coloring was excellent and he even "washed" it so that it would blend in better with the existing brick.  This young  man was a pleasure to work with, stayed within his budget as promised, did a good job on the entire house.   I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
