Benny waited on us as we purchased a bedroom suite today; he was thorough, friendly, patient, and accommodating. Mr. Mills' wife, Margaret, has purchased many things from our estate sales over the years, and it was truly a pleasure to reciprocate by buying from Bob Mills Furniture this afternoon. We will very likely return to buy more furniture pieces in the near future, as we're busily redecorating our own home. When we return, we will most assuredly ask for Benny.
Description of Work: We bought a bedroom suite.

In September 2012 I purchased a new high quality mattress from the Bob Mills Sleep Shop. The cost of the mattress was approximately $4000.00. I also purchased two Legget and Platt Mood Base at a colst of $1000.00 each and in addition i purchased an extended warranty for the mood base. The factory warranty was for one year and I was led to believe the extended warranty would then kick in. In December of 2013 (approx 3 months after the 1 year warranty expired), I called and set up appointment for repairmain to come and repair my mood base. One of the remote transmitters quit and the other had a problem with the vibrating motor as it was making a lot of noise when you turn it on. This is the motor that allows you to vibrate the mattress and, is the main feature I wanted, being a diabetic with pheriphal neuropathy and thinking this would give me some relief at night, and was led to believe it would by there staff. From December 2013 to April of 2014 I had two different repairmen come to my house.. The first was dispatched from Kelly Furniture and he came and reviewed the problem and ordered a new transmitter. He told me the next time he comes to install, he would bring some padding to put around motor to make it quiter. The next time he showed up he forgot about the motor problem and repaired the transmitter (which could be defined as a factory defect). I made another appointment for him to return to repair the motor poroblem and he informed me he would talk to the manufacture to get an idea of what he should do. He came on a third occassion and could do nothing but he would write it up and submit it and stated Legget and Platt was aware of the problem but I would have to pay to get it fixed. . I was notified my a representative of Montague (which handles the extended warranty).that the report the repairman submitted stated nothing was broke so therefore nothing could be fixed. IF nothing was broke why did he initially try to fix it ? I called them and informed me of the conversations I had with repairman about the manufacture being aware of the problem but I would have to pay for repair. Montague then hired another company to come and evaluate the problem. That repairman told me he knew what the problem was, as a piece was missing from between the padding and the motor. He left and submitted his findings to Montague and they again told me that there is nothing broke so nothing could be fixed and their warranty did not cover factory defects, which this was. I ask them how about the wireless transmitter they repaired/replaced wasn't that a factory defect?and quot; They then informed and quot;some things they will handle.and quot; I called Bob Mills customer service and was given an explanation that my extended warranty for the mood base was for basically cosmetic problems and minor damages that happened in the home. I told the representative that wasn't right as it was not explained in that manner when I purchased the extended warranty. Long story made short, tuff stuff, nothing they would do. So I am stuck with a $1000.00 base that is defective and I have only had it a year and a half. I do not intend to shop at Bob Mills Sleep Shop again, or at least I will not purchase the mood bases. It appears to me if they sell the product shouldn't they stand behind it also? It also makes me wonder if the factory warranty on my $5000.00 mattress is worth anything.
Description of Work: In my opinion did not stand behich product sold.

They were courteous and actually pretty funny. They didn't make it seem like it was a chore to help us out. It was almost closing time and he didn't make it seem like it was big deal, he actually stayed late to make sure we got what we were looking for.
Description of Work: We bought furniture from them.

They just had what I liked. They were very well known in Oklahoma, in the city area. The price was the same like all the others were asking for, it was not different.
