Alex, the owner was referred through the nextdoor.com website. I requested referrals and he was one of them recommended.  After researching his website and other locations on the Internet he was contacted for an estimate. I was impressed that the owner/operator answered the phone and was quick to respond to provide an estimate.

We only had a general idea of what we wanted and knew the grade of the land would provide some challenges.  Alex was able to answer every question, provide suggestions as to what they could do and took all the necessary measurements.  Within a few minutes he provided a written estimate that was approximately 1/2 of a landscape firm we had talked to previously. 

We established a tentative start date that had to be moved back because of other construction being done on the property. A fence was being replaced and should have been installed before the drainage and pavement. Alex worked hard to coordinate with the fence company so all work could be completed efficiently and professionally.

Before we actually started work we discussed stamped vs stained concrete. His website had some beautiful pictures. Once we looked it all over we increased the project to the flagstone stamp colored to accent our house. We had them take out a small walkway garden and made it as wide as the front porch.  Essentially this makes a nice sitting area in the front our house.

The week his crews were working on my property was hectic, but orderly. All of the individuals on the crews were very polite and extremely hard workers.  The heat was extreme, but the leads made sure breaks were taken and personnel were safe.  As the work progressed and questions arose, either one of the crew could answer, or I could call Alex.  He was always available. Alex was on property a lot of the time overseeing the work.

Despite the extreme heat and issues by the fence company, the projects all went very smoothly. It was amazing to watch everything come together.  We have fought mud battles on both sides our house since we moved in 13-years ago. The concrete sidewalks and patio are an awesome addition.

The stamped area in front of the house evolved step by step, each one more exciting that the last. When cleaned up and finished, it was better than we could have imagined.  Alex and his crew have transformed our home into an area that the neighbors slow to see the work.  Numerous people have already seen his work and asked for his contact information, which I have gladly given.

It went great.

This was probably the very best experience we've had with any contractor. We had a major excavation project that others attempted to resolve, but failed. Alex and his crew did an incredible job and did it in the time frame as promised. Besides the work being done properly and with exceptional craftsmanship, what I most appreciate is the fact that he was honest and didn't try to get me to add and pay for services that were unnecessary. Great experience.

Everything went great, Alex showed up exactly when he said he would for the estimate. We really liked his attitude very professional from stat to finish. We are very happy with the results. Would not hesitate to use his company again

While renovating a 1949 house, we discovered drainage problems with a sidewalk than ran alongside the house.   Alex's crew removed the old sidewalk and poured a new sidewalk that allowed water to drain away from the house and then down the driveway to the street.   We decided to replace the back patio and porch stoop at the same time.  In addition, we asked them to remove the concrete steps from the front porch and add a new sidewalk, steps and small stoop for a new entry into the house.  
The guys at Alex Construction did an outstanding job.   All the new concrete is appropriately sloped to direct water away from the house and Alex had them add a little extra depth to the edge of the sidewalk to prevent rainwater from migrating under the walkway and entering the crawl space under the house.   The walkways, steps, porches and patio look great and in hindsight I probably should have asked them to replace all the old concrete walkways in the backyard.   Big improvement in the appearance of the house exterior.
The crew cleaned up all the grounds and even replaced some soil and sod along the edges of the patio.   It was a pleasure to work with some real professionals.

Amazing Job and Extremely Fast Service!!! It's no wonder why Alex's Construction CO, LLC comes so highly rated/recommended. He responded and provided a quote within hours of our first contact. His price was very reasonable and his team completed the job within the same week. Everyone was polite and very professional. Our driveway was done in 2 days and then a third day to clean and remove any forms and power wash it.  It looks fine for a driveway which is never a fun way to spend money.  Alex came out and gave what we felt was a fair estimate and helped with the issue of drainage that was causing erosion under the driveway.  We actually had a heavy rain the night after they did the demolition. Lucky us! In August no less.  They were to come the next morning at 8:30...when I didn't hear if they were coming or not coming, I finally texted Alex and he said they would not be there due to the rain.  My only complaint is that he should have contacted me first instead of leaving me to wonder.  I would have made other plans then.  I was quite nervous with the job because of the rain we had, but he assured me it would work out and the job would be fine.  And it was.

Great experience! Alex quickly responded to our request for a quote. His bid was in the middle of two others, and we felt like he understood the problem and the solution. We scheduled about three weeks out. The guys worked extremely hard. Alex walked us through everything when it was done and had a guy come back to touch up some spots. Now we can't wait until it rains to see the new drainage system at work!

We had an event coming and were short on time. A friend recommended Alex because he had already done several jobs for her. He responded quickly, was able to fit us in and did the work in less than a week! The job was beautifully and professionally done. My house looks great! We higghly recommend his services.
