They did very good work despite an unforeseen challenge.  Much of the prior pour had been done much thicker than the norm so they spent a good amount of time having to drive through it and dig it out.  I had to spend a little more for the extra work but they earned it.  I'm writing this months later and it has held up well with no cracking, settling, etc.  Overall very pleased and will use them again for future projects.

Alex responded quickly (to a special offer), and showed up as agreed on a very hot August day!  There is a large tree in the front yard, which over the years had caused the driveway and sidewalk to buckle.  It took two men most of the afternoon to get the top part of the roots dug up after the crew had taken out the old concrete.  The work was done in between days of steady downpours, and Alex came back several times to make adjustments.  They worked extra time, in order to complete the project as agreed.  In addition, they replaced a section of concrete under our back yard faucet, which had deteriorated.

They were on time. We had to postpone it three or four times because of the weather that was about 45 degrees. So it took a couple of months before we finally got it done but they did a wonderful job and I would hire them again. They did a great job and everything. I had two or three estimates and they were the lowest of them.

The job went very well. Alex's crew was on-time and very professional. They did an excellent job and cleaned up very well. All charges were as quoted and dealing with Alex was very easy. We were very pleased with the results and the work done.

Alex promptly returned my first call and came to the house the next day to measure the driveway. I asked and received the very same day three different quotes because we did not know how much of a driveway we could afford. Alex worked with me and we found his prices to be reasonable enough for us to get a complete overhaul. He was able to get the work started the following week.
His employees arrived on time everyday, and worked hard, cleaning after themselves each evening. I also want to mention that I gave them access to my garage, and therefore my home, without hesitation (they did not need to go inside, they just needed the garage door opened). They were on schedule to pour the new concrete but unfortunately, a winter storm was also about to come in. Alex offered to build a small ramp to he road and one to the garage so that we could use our driveway and garage while we waited for the snow and ice to melt. We were very grateful for that. As soon as the weather permitted it, the crew came back and poured the new driveway, which has now finished curing, and looks impeccable.
Alex checks on the crew and the work very regularly, making corrections along the way if necessary. I decided to trust his experience and I was not disappointed. Our new circle drive looks even better than we had imagined, and for a very reasonable price, considering the price of concrete.
I recommend this business without reservations and will nominate them for an award.

ALEX'S CONSTRUCTION CO tore out and replaced an old broken patio, poured a pad for the rolling garbage and recycle containers, and also tore out and replaced the front porch with an extended slab. The tear out was one day and the new pour was the next, great work, no debris, and they stayed until all work was done. Really nice and polite and his crew was the same.

Alex extended my patio area and he did a great job!  I had originally wanted him to pour a slab for my daughter who plays basketball.  However, she was not able to play this year because of a conflict.  So I changed my mind as to what I wanted him to do. He was very patient with me and did what I finally decided without any hesitation.

They did a wonderful and professional job.  The patio looks great and I think we will be enjoying it for years to come.  I only wish all the companies I have had do work around my home were this professional responsive and efficient.

At first, we were going to have him put in a whole backyard patio, but then scrapped that idea and decided to just put in enough concrete to accommodate a hot tub. Two things changed our mind: Alex had pointed out a possible drainage issue I hadn't thought of had we gone with the patio.  Also, his price for the patio was slightly higher than another estimate we had.
Price notwithstanding, he probably saved us a lot of grief by pointing out the drainage issue. We are happy with our new hot tub and the concrete he poured is holding the weight just fine.  I think his price for that work was ok, and I would certainly recommend him for any kind of concrete work.  He struck me as an honest, sincere professional somewhat on the quiet side, who does quality work.  He has a busy schedule, and will slot you in depending on the size of the job.

Alex contacted us promptly. We scheduled an appointment. When he looked at our driveway, he said he didn't do work on our kind of driveway (exposed aggregate). He suggested I contact you for a refund. He was very professional.

The contractor was very clear even from when I got the estimate. The times and dates that he projected were very accurate, and he started the work on time and on date. He and his guys were very good on the getting things done as quickly as possible without missing details and doing things wrong. They could have been a little more careful with the surrounding lawn, but I guess it is hard to work with heavy equipment and not leave everything spotless. The work was completed to my satisfaction and I will be more than happy to hire him in the future.

Demolished cracked driveway area of about 217 sq. feet and removed all rubble. Reconcreted that area, a second area of about 30 sq. feet was concreted as well as a fence line of about 75 sq. ft. Total of about  300 sq feet of concrete was poured at a cost of  $5.78 sq. foot. Alex was on time, personally supervised his hard-working workers, and did the job as promised without any problems. We originally only contracted for a job of about 217 sq. feet; however, the day Alex arrived to do the job my wife asked if he could do a last minute addition of about 100 sq. feet of work. Alex accomodated without issues and his folks completed the entire job the first day except for clean-up the next morning. Superb work was done in all areas including the clean-up. His cost was about $400 better than the closest competitor. We only did a verbal contract probably because ours was a small project. Alex did the work plus add-ons as promised. You won't be sorry if you hire Alex.

I have been very happy with them. They did what they said they would do. It took them about a full week to complete the job and they lost one day due to the weather. They called me right away to schedule a time to get the job done.

They were one week late.  Hard to communicate with workers due to language barrier.  Took three days to complete.  Staining got in my air conditioner.  Had to have it acid washed to remove hardener and stain.

Alex did a wonderful job helping install a new backyard patio. They were in and out in about two days. He stained sealed and delivered!

Work was done on time and with no issues.  Alex explained there was a part of the driveway that required review by city inspectors but he took care of the scheduling and inspection process as part of the driveway replacement.  The inspection didn't delay the work completion.

It was great! I was very pleased with him. He did a good job. My patio looks so much better now. I think of anything he could have done to do it better. He followed up with me to make sure everything was to my standards. I asked him for a quote on additional work and I am very pleased with that estimate. Part of the work he suggested I go to someone else who specializes in edging to save some money which I thought was very honest.

I bought the coupon off Angie's List for some concrete work.  I was a little worried since I had never used Angie's List before but I read many reviews for the contractor that would be performing the work.  I was very impressed.  Alex contacted me promptly.  He came out at the scheduled time to review what I wanted to do.  Alex said he would be out the following week. It rained so I fully expected him to push back the time but he was actually able to come out a day ahead of schedule and finished ahead of schedule.  The concrete looks great!  I think the price was fair to a little high.  It would have been a better deal if I had more concrete poured.  But I am still satisfied. I will definitely use Alex in the future.
