I am very pleased by my service from All Day Chimney & Dryer Vent. They gave me a call the morning of my service appointment to let me know they were on the way. Upon arrival, they went to work to service my fireplace chimney and my dryer vent. The work was done in a timely manner and you could not ask for a more friendly professional job. I especially want to thank Robert for a job well done!

Contacted "All Day Chimney" service and scheduled a cleaning and inspection for the following week. We were quoted $125 for the service. They arrived near the appointment time and began work. Very good job of protecting house from ash. About 1 hour into the service, the technician "hollered" through the chimney as he was on the roof and told me that this was going to cost in excess of $400 due to it being an oversized chimney and a steep roof. After some discussion, we agreed to a price of $250 and he completed the job. Everything appears to be done properly, but we won't know until next fall/winter when we begin to use our fireplace again. As for the inspection, we were never informed as to the condition, so we can only "guess that it was okay"? After the technician left, and looking from the ground, it appears that the screen on the top of the chimney appears to not have been fully attached to keep rodents and birds out. Only time will tell, once I am able to get on the roof and look for myself.

"These are my exact words when selling a chimney job. I charge i25.00 for a one story standard fireplace it could be more or less, as you know some chimneys are big enough for me to stand up in. A standard fireplace the fire box would be 36in x 36in made of metal with a 6 to 8 in circumference damper and the stack would also be 8in pipe maybe 8ft, tall ,this customer had a double sided fireplace made of brick, the damper was about 30 inches square and i could standup in it and clean, the chimney stack was at 25ft on a very steep roof .and it was extremely dirty from the bottom all the way to the top, instead of having a chimney cap, he had a home made wire over the top of the crown with rubber glue holding it in. He obviously had never had his chimney cleaned before or he would be familiar with pricing. i have charged 400.00 for the same type of fireplace and has never got a complaint. And i would not clean a chimney that bad for 250.00 again unless it was a regular customer. Thanks for the review have a good day."

They came out quickly, look out the structure at the fireplace and found out that there's no gas going to the fireplace. He recommended me a gas company to check it out before lighting.

"I arrived to this customers house to clean his dryer vent. He was complaining about a water leak. So, i removed the dryer vent hose and found no water. So I explained to him that the leak could not be coming from dryer vent. He said no , im sure thats where its coming from, so i ran my dryer vent tool through his system which was about 20 to 30 feet. Now he is standing there looking at the whole process. I showed him brushes there was no water on my brushes. So he said, go in the attic and take the pipes a loose because my nephew got a lot of lint from there. I said ok., i broke the pipe down taped back up, still no water. So i did my own inspection and found that the leak was coming from a hose connected to the washer. So i asked him why didnt the maytag people find the leak, he claimed they had been by twice. .Now he wants me to unhook the hoses and inspect that, because he couldnt unhook the hoses himself, so i ifound the problem , remember im a dryer vent cleaner not a plumber, and instead of complaining to maytag for doing a poor job, he complains to Angieslist , I charge 25.00 to go in a attic and detach and reattach a pipe. And I repeatedly told the man from the begaining that the dryer vent was not his problem, but he insisted..Also, I have over 80 reviews with Home Advisor with 4.50 stars 5.00 being perfect, Thanks for your review."

He was cleaning the chimney when his brush got stuck. He said my chimney pipe narrowed (?). It took him 1.5 hrs to get it out! He pulled it thru but he had to pull really hard which bent something. He spent another 1.5 hrs trying to figure out how to get damper back together and working. He gave up and said he’d come back the next day. He said he’d make it right even if he had to pay someone to fix the damper. He actually came back the next day mid afternoon. Said it would take no more than 30 min but I didn’t see a new part. He was getting ready to leave and I asked him to show me the damper working. HE HAD NOT FIXED IT. HE PUT IT BACK WITH DAMPER OPEN PERMANENTLY AND JUSTIFIED LEAVING IT OPEN. I was not happy obviously. He later sent me a threatening text alluding that he could bill me for extra time and report me cause my fireplace was not up to code, and I could be fined. Ridiculous and unprofessional. I had to have someone else come and fix what he had left unusable. He’s lucky I paid him for the cleaning.

Robert the owner was great very professional and did a great job. The vent was terribly full he had to disconnect dryer add a new connection, disconnect attic vent connection and clean from roof the job required a lot of work. I would use him again and recommend to other.

Fantastic! A thorough and difficult clean out for Robert. The duct runs through the attic which was very hot work. Robert cleaned the duct, which had quite a bit of lint build up, and reconnected the duct work so it works properly. A job well done.

Dryer vent was very clogged although we had had it cleaned by another company less than 6 months before. Robert showed us where the other company failed to connect the pipe correctly in the attic. Other company did not go on the roof either (which Robert did) to clean the outlet. This company really knew what they were doing and did a very good job. Paid more than the quote but they did a lot of extra work reconnecting the pipe correctly, etc. Very friendly and personable. Responded immediately to service call. Would recommend.

They said the chimney was mortared over at the top of the fire box with just a small opening for ventilation ( the fireplace is not wood burning, Has a gas log). But no attempt was made to clean the area above the fire box. They said it didn't need it. (?????).
