The Screenmobile of OKC

Back story: About 5 years ago, we

had a new deck built (to replace an old one) and wanted it screened

in.  The company we used was on reference from a friend. They built a

solid structure and we were pleased with that piece of the project, but they

didn't go a great job on the screening. They used flimsy screens and it left a

lot of gaps for insects to get in. Because they had been referred from a

friend, and we likely therefore got a cut in price, we felt uncomfortable

complaining about it. But, it didn't take much wind or accidental push, or

stray bird to tear the screens. It was an upgrade from what we had

but we were not totally happy. It just got worse over the years and we wanted

it replaced.



Enter Screenmobile! 

He came out to take a look and give an estimate. Because of the structure of

the deck and some of the flaw in design, he had to get creative. He suggested

building framing in separate panels to allow one to be replaced if a certain

area had a problem. We live on an acre, with many trees near the back deck, and

therefore during storms, we can get limbs through the screens. This would solve

the problem of having to replace a large area of something happened.  We

thought it was a good idea and decided to go for it.



They called with a date for the work. It was a few weeks out due to

their schedule but we agreed.  They appeared on time on  the day it

was scheduled and it took the amount of time he said it would, 2

days. He also made a suggestion to rescreen the doors to the deck, which

we had not really talked about when he was there to give an estimate. He gave a

reasonable price to do that work and incorporated it into the 2 day job. 

They also reinforced some area on the deck where there were gaps that would

allow insect access. 



Overall, it was quite the transformation and they did beautiful work. Our lot

is very rustic so our deck wasn't a finished out showpiece that you might find

in Edmond. He didn't have that to work with. But it's a solid porch that we use

a lot for entertaining family.  He took that and increased the look and

feel of it in an amazing way.  He used a much better quality screen that

will hold up to Oklahoma wind. They are tight and beautifully finished.

 We are very, very pleased with his work!!!!!  Definitely recommend

him!!!!

Recommended by a friend we called and Dave responded. He made and kept all appointments. We had screens non high sloped roof and ground floors. We replaced our screens which he took to his shop and returned the on time to replace them. He was professional and thoughtful. He even arrived slightly early and gave me time to clean the windows even though it caused him to extend the job time slightly.

This company normally repairs screen on site.  However, the day I called they were in the area on other calls and offered to pick up the screens, take them to their shop and return them.  They did return the day promised even though we had some inclement weather during the night.  This is a very professional company.

He arrived right on time, got right to work and finished in about an hour. Did a great job....screens look great.

The best part of this service is that they came to my home, so I didn 't have to do any of the hassle of removing and transporting the screens. They were quick to respond to my phone call and got around to the job fairly soon, considering the amount of hail damage in the city.The reapairman brought a trailer that contained all the necessary tools for replacing the damaged screens and got the job done quickly and efficiently.

Dave responded quickly to my request for an estimate. He came by one afternoon to survey the job and then came back a few days later to do the work. He replaced all of the screens on my house, building frames for the solar screens we wanted on the south side of the house and using my existing frames for the other windows. He spent the better part of a day doing the job and it looks wonderful. He travels with everything he needs and does all the work on-site. This is easily the best way to get professional screening done. I would recommend Dave and Screenmobile to anyone needing work done.

Dave arrived on the afternoon scheduled. His specialized screen manufacturing and repair trailer is fully self-contained not even requiring electrical power for equipment used in the fabrication of new screen frames and re-screening . The new screens fit perfectly and are of higher quality than the originals.
