LOVE ON A LEASH

They hurt my dog. They cut her nail too short and she was bleeding everywhere. She was shaking when I picked her up.

We stopped calling there ever since they had that news article recently, where they accidentally killed an owners pet.  My personal experience was fine, but after hearing that news article, my overall I guess feelings for them, is not so great.  They've been closed down for a couple of weeks since that happened.  Personal experience was nothing, but like I said, the fact that they were negligent and actually killed someone else's dog, makes me not want to go there at all.  I don't want my dog in their hands.  

 

Above and beyond. They always go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with the job they do and it is obviously how much they care about the dogs and cats entrusted to them.

Best groomer I have used and especially for the price--very nice folks own the place and they are just a pleasure to deal with!

Showed up early Tuesday morning to drop off the dogs and right at the opening of the door when you walk in they are shaving dogs hair flying everywhere chalked it up to busy day and the dogs seem to be okay with staying.
Then comes time to pickup again when I walk in shaving right at entrance of door they are shaving dogs and hair is flying everywhere and there is this strong dirty animal smell. They were not able to brush the dogs teeth because they ran out of toothbrushes.... I have 2 schnauzers and requested at drop off that they trim not shave the legs and trim a urination path on underbelly to prevent urine from getting in fur and instead they shaved the legs and did not trim the spot for urination. One of my dogs has a pink flesh spot (bald) on his under chest. They still wanted to charge the full amount and were trying to rush me out during pickup time and just played off the lack of brushing of teeth as a common practice. They were dropped off before 8 am and somehow they ran out of toothbrushes before they worked on my dogs.....
Would not recommend and appears I will continue to drive all the way midwest city just to have the dogs groomed....... After this experience it is worth it.

They were very helpful (let me stay with my "newbie" pup for about 2 hours). Then when I wanted to take him home, they wanted to trim him first so he would be all ready. We met the next day at my vet's and I took him from there. Although this business is outside my travel area, I was very pleased with their service and willingness to want to complete the transaction with the maximum service possible.

Dog grooming seems expensive to me, but the cost at LOAL was very comparable to other places I checked. I will absolutely take my dogs back to Love On A Leash. They were very sweet, loving and genuinely interested in my dogs.

I was happy with everything as indicated above. Sure, I would have liked a lower price, but it was competitive and worth it. Tip: L-o-L is actually on Chelsea, a side street off 15th to the south near the corner with 15th.

Was great service! They were able to get the dog in quickly and finished within 2 hours. Will be using again and highly recommend.
