Not well. I specifically went to the shop to pick out a vase and to communicate the exact design. It was delivered but not with the vase I had selected and paid extra for. To their credit, they did agree to provide the correct vase. It appears to have been a newer employee not familiar with the procedures. I thought it was a bit expensive.
Description of Work: A flower arrangement and delivery.

As the owner I am responsible for all that goes on in my shop and should have caught the error prior to delivery. I am very sorry that there was an error filling [member name removed] order. As soon as the error was brought to my attention I contacted [member name removed] to see how he wanted us to handle the situation. I offered to take another arrangement in the vase that he chose out to his home and he stated that he was in town and would just stop by to pick up the vase. I stayed open late to accommodate his schedule.I gave him the vase he chose and told him to keep the other vase as well. The arrangement in question included 6 roses and 3 calla lily a specialty vase and a rural delivery of $10.00. We also gave him a military discount. We do our best to keep our prices affordable and are told repeatedly that we are the most reasonably priced shop in town. I have made changes in shop to make sure that this error is not repeated.

All of the fruit was aged and bruised. It included 1 pear, 4 bananas, 2 pink grapefruits, and 3 apples. All were bruised and old. The skins were bruised and not glossy. There was half a bag of purple grapes, probably only half a bag due to picking out the bad ones (an assumption on my part). The fruit flesh was starting to shrivel. There was a canned nut/pretzel mix. When opened this item tasted metallic and you could taste preservatives. It was not recognizable as any food item tastes. It was marked "Dollar Store". There was were 2 packages of cookies. They were "Best Choice" brand cookies. They were stale. There were about 10 almonds in shells sprinkled in the bottom or the basket, and 2 pecans in the shell. No nut cracker. So we were unable to get to the nut meat. The package was in a moderate quality basket with red cellophane and a pretty bow on the outside. I cannot comment on Price, Responsiveness, or Punctuality as I don't know when the basket was ordered or supposed to be delivered, and I don't know the cost. I hope it was not much. By the size of the basket itself, I would expect that it was between 50-75 dollars. The lady delivering the basket was very professional and friendly. I think Dorothy's flowers needs to stick to their flower arranging and forget the fresh food baskets. We were very disappointed and unable to share any treats with our guests except for a few bananas. Our father ate the single pear but he will eat anything. It was in pretty bad shape.
Description of Work: I received a gift basket of fruit and other food items from a relative. I was having guests for a few days and the fruit and snacks would have been nice to have.

I want to start by saying we treat every order we fill as if we were sending it from ourselves to someone we care about, and we would never knowingly send inferior or damaged items. The order in question was delivered on Friday Dec 20th and we have a 24 hour guarantee on all of our product. We did not receive any call or complaint until Tuesday December 24th in the form of a voice mail message (we closed at 2:00 Christmas Eve) I returned Ms.[member name removed] call as soon as I received the message on the day after Christmas. When I spoke with her she seemed to be under the impression that the basket was delivered on Monday so I was never able to clarify where the basket had been stored or if it had been opened separated and refrigerated as necessary. We include a care card on our basket with instructions to open separate and refrigerate fresh fruit and snacks. I immediately told her we would be happy to do a refund for the item even though it was a full five days after delivery. After speaking with Ms [member name removed] I was very concerned her basket was one of 10 that we sent that day and it was very cold out so I was worried that the fruit may have gotten to cold while we were delivering. I called all of the 9 other recipients and explained my concerns.All without exception had no issues or complaint with there gift. This led us to believe that something must have happened after delivery (possibly it was left in the garage and it got too cold or left sealed in the basket. As we all know some fruits don't get along well with others if you don't separate bananas and citrus they will spoil very quickly. To address the quality issue we purchase fresh fruit and snacks specifically for each basket on the day it is to be delivered. We purchase everything from Reasors not the dollar store and we photograph each item before it goes out for delivery. This was a $50.00 fruit and snack basket it included 3 red apples 3 green apples 3 pears 2 grape fruit 1lb of grapes 4 bananas 1/4 lb of mixed nuts (we do not include a nut cracker) 1/4 lb of hard candy a can of planters peanuts and a can of mixed planters nuts and pretzels. Also included in the price is the cost of the basket which was an 8 inch wicker style fruit basket as well as all ribbon and cellophane used to wrap the items. I absolutely hate the fact that Ms [member name removed] was displeased with her gift, we do our very best to please our customers. And will gladly go above and beyond to make sure that they are satisfied.
