BULLDOG FURNITURE

We purchased a dual recliner form Bulldog furniture and less then 6 months the foot rest on one of the recliners would not shut. We called Bulldog furniture and they came out and took pictures of it on their sale phones and said they would check to see if their repair person could fix it or if they would have to order the parts. This was a month prior to Thanksgiving when we have all of our family out for the holidays. We let them know this and that we would like to have it repaired by then. They told us know problems they should be able to have it repaired within a week or so. We called and they came back out and tried to repair it and it did not work so his son took some more pictures on his cell phone and they left with a we will get back with you. Well Thanksgiving came and went. No contact from Bulldog furniture on what was happening so one day I stopped in to see what was going on and what was going to be done about this piece of furniture. He said that he had to order the whole under carriage part of the piece of furniture and that he just got notification in his email that it was being shipped and when it came in he would call. He said he would have to have my husband remove the half of the recliner that was broken and bring it in to the furniture store. I told them that was not really realistic as my husband would not be able to maneuver this bulky piece of furniture by himself and transport it in an open pick up truck down a dusty road to bring it in. We would need them to come out and pick it up. This upset the owner and he was very reluctant. Now I get excited and am deaf in one ear and can get load, his wife continued to shush me like I was a child. They finally agreed to come out and get the half of the recliner set after the base came in. After Christmas they finally called and said they would come out and get the piece of furniture and get if fixed. They picked it up and had the piece of furniture for over 3 weeks. Mind you we have no other pieces of furniture in our living room so my husband was sitting in a kitchen chair ever night for relaxation. Again we had to call them and they said it would be another week before they could get it back to us. They finally got it back out to us and brought it in and we reclined it one time and it would not go back in again. So again still broken the same way they took more pictures on their cell phone and left. We made several attempts to contact them with no response on the repairs of our furniture. It is still broken and the foot piece does not go into place. We spent hundreds of dollars on this piece of furniture and it looks awful, it is an embarrassment every time I have company however it will never get repaired. Bulldog furniture should be put out of business.
