We walked in the salon to three stylists working and two people being serviced. The third one working took my daughter right back for a wash for her haircut. My daughter explained what she wanted done and the girl asked her a few questions to make sure she understood. Both other ladies were still being worked on, one getting a cut and style and the other getting color/foil. After my daughter's haircut was complete, her stylist asked if she wanted it styled (she did) and that was done quickly. Total time in the shop was less than 20 minutes and my daughter was very happy with her haircut.
The store seemed very clean and professional. New products were placed neatly on the shelves and not too crowded. A few small chairs in the waiting area were quickly filled up as several people came in after us. They stylists were upfront with new customers about approximate wait times.
I was somewhat put off that two of the three stylists didn't have much going on for their own hair. One was very plain straight cut and the other seemed she could have done something more with hers. Granted, in talking with each other they said they'd been super busy all day and two of them hadn't even eaten lunch (this was 3 pm) so maybe it was just that, a busy day all around, but I think being stylists, they should have had theirs done and looking nice.
I gave Famous Hair a B rating for professionalism as a few times the stylists working were talking loudly about other people who worked there negatively (don't do that in front of customers). Also one of the ladies taking a customer's name for the list seemed very put off by stopping what she was doing to do so. Which I agree, I hate to stop what I'm working on, but I fault the company for this. In prior years and in other salons, patrons signed themselves in with what needed done, the stylists didn't need to stop, but could acknowledge new customers from where they were in the salon.
Overall we were very happy with our visit and the cost. I have been to this salon many times and will continue to go there. GREAT JOB!!

This service was not at my home and has nothing to do with my home, so I put an approximate year this strip mall was built....I think.
