Lengthy detail review: Rob and his team are some of the most honest hardworking guys ever made contact with in the residential contracting world. They were constantly going over and above the scope of work because they CARE. Sure they ran into unforeseen things with our terrain and grading and handled them without question. I own a B2B company and have been asking around for references on good concrete guys, that does stamped concrete also. Turns out there aren't many in Dayton. I turned to Angie's list and found Jordan Concrete. Of course like reading Amazon reviews there are some "negative" reviews from folks that don't have anything good to say. I can say I'm a self admitted frugal person, review conscious, consumer reports reading consumer. This purchase of over $26,000 worth of concrete was well spent with this firm. Their price is right in line with market expectations. I had a figure based on research and his price came in right on target. We wanted a new curb approach into the driveway, replacement of parking apron and a new 900+sq. ft. patio. We got much more. We got an extension of our living space, we got attention to extreme detail and greatly added value to our home. You're going to go through things that happen in contracting like; rain delays, vendor delays, cold weather, waiting for call backs. I can personally tell you Rob is very honest and he doesn't have excuses. With Rob his family ranks #1. I hope everyone's does. Sometimes a man can only do so much. The F grades he received on Angie's list from others that weren't patient for a call back or a cancelled appointment are crazy to me. I have plenty of progress pictures that show Rob himself in the bobcat, shoveling gravel, staining concrete in background on his hands and knees working along side his team. Hence a delay in call back could happen. We are all Human. Those who passed on using Jordan Concrete missed out big time. Be patient with the process and you will be amazed.

Rob Jordan knows his business. There were a few weather delays in getting the job but that's acceptable with concrete work. You can't do a good job in the rain. He and each of his guys took pride in their work. Rob made sure I knew not to drive on the pad for a week - he left cones barricading it off. They also returned in a timely manner to fill in perimeter edge around the driveway. I also noticed that one of his crew who smoked made sure to take his cigarette butts with him. It's a small thing, but I appreciated the fact that he respected my property and didn't leave cigarette trash.

After receiving quotes from a few other companies and waiting for many unreturned phonecalls, Rob came by, listened to what I wanted, and followed up with a nice sketch of the project.  Unlike any other company, he was willing to fit us in the schedule very quickly (two weeks later).   The patio turned out beautiful!  We are very impressed with the shape - it was exactly what we had envisioned.  He offered the idea of adding an 8-inch border (which we wanted but didn't know you could do with concrete).  The border turned out really nice.  It has a really neat but subtle texture stamped into it.  We asked him to do the lightest brushing over the concrete that he could do so that it wouldn't rough up bare feet, and it turned out so smooth.  Like I mentioned in the services, Rob completely surprised me with an email informing me he was going to come by and lay some top soil over the area that the equipment traveled (small area in the back) to smooth out the ground.  This is amazing to me!  His crew had already regraded that area (better than the builder did).  I'm very impressed with the professionalism of this company.  They were prompt, trustworthy, and provided a very beautiful patio - and in a very timely manner.  Now my daughter can actually have a birthday party and have friends go out the back door to play in the backyard!  I definitely recommend using this company!

Went very well only had a few delays due to the extreme cold weather and snow which delayed the pouring.

Jordan Concrete Services, LLC was the most expensive estimate we received however, he was also the most professional and thorough and down to earth quote and helped us think through other ways of keeping our cost low (like suggesting we secure the brick-block vs. him getting it).  During our decision making process, when we had questions, we'd call and he would get right back with us.  We knew we needed to engage his company to do this work.  Every day at the end of the day his workers would clean up and contain the mess.  We even decided along the way to do a bit more than originally planned and he was not only amenable but gave us a reasonable rates.  I couldn't believe for a project of this size how quickly he and his crew completed it despite the weather.  I would certainly highly recommend Rob and his company to anyone.  We were very pleased with the outcome!

Replaced three eroding concrete steps that led to front porch.  A couple weeks later they returned to install a new railing on steps that needed to be cut and put together, which took extra time.   Really appreciate their work.  Steps and railing look great.

I am amazed by the professionalism, knowledge and outstanding quality from Jordan Concrete. I thought those days were long long gone. Their goal is to provide the best quality job and they most certainly did.  I observed an attention to details that most others would not do. Such as how much of the yard was undisturbed when setting the forms, the accuracy of the angles and leveling of the forms, to the precision of the hand edging and seaming of the cement,  It was truly a pleasure to know that this job was done right and there wasn't anything or anyone else that could have been done better.
