DEANS PLUMBING

Was called ahead by the provider to give 30 minute arrival warning that was within their originally scheduled 3 hour service window. Plumber arrived on time, was friendly and introduced himself. I explained the city inspection identified the drain line needed lengthening and looping to prevent back flow to the dishwasher. Additionally the supply line needed a water hammer arrester installed. He quickly assesses end the current installation and stated he had all the supplies needed. Work took approximately 1 hour and was completed without any readily identifiable complications or problems. Invoice provided on completion of work and paid with a check to avoid credit/debit card service fee. No problems or complaints thus far and currently awaiting re-inspection.

They are awesome.  They are fast, and very reliable.  I think it is a family owned company.  I think I spoke to his wife on the phone and she was very clear and asked appropriate questions.  He came out and did a wonderful job.  He was quick and clean.  Since then we choose them to do our plumbing work and they are our plumbers now.  When he came out he did several jobs for us.  He explained everything very clearly and he is very reasonably priced.

Dean's plumbing did a great job fixing my clogged drain and leaking plumbing. I definitely recommend them to anyone. Service was fast, complete, and fair.

The plumber was punctual and friendly. He checked the circuit breaker, ripped the insulation around the water heater open, opened the upper and lower heating element panels. The plumber could not tell if the circuit breaker was working properly. He determined that there was electricity going through the heating elements but could not tell whether they were working properly. There appeared to be a small amount of water leaking because the garage floor was wet but no dripping was visible. The source of the water was not known. The plumber put a cap on the sprout coming out the bottom of the tank and there does not appear to be anymore leaking. He also did a rather poor job taping the insulation back together.  All of this might have taken about 15 minutes. Then we waited to see if the water heater got hot. It did gradually but the plumber lingered on and made several phone calls. I wasn't sure what he was still intending to do but since he did not leave and he really did not give me a diagnosis of the problem, we chatted about options for replacing the water heater. 
My main dissatisfaction was that no cause for the problem was identified and the water heater is still not working properly. The diagnosis was that it could be the circuit breaker, it could be one or both of the heating elements, or it could be the tank.  I would not want to have to pay an hour's service for a minimum amount of work and not even getting a determination of the source of the problem but would have accepted it if the minimum charge was an hour's service. But on top of the hour's service ($100), a $39 service call was charged. I find this to be a highly atypical practice. The $10 coupon that they credited me did not make up for the rather high rate of service charge on top of the service call charge.

We have had very good experience with them.

.First the water heater.  Ours failed suddenly.  Dean's was able to find a replacement with a power exhaust vent and install before most others could schedule an estimate.  Their pricing was quite reasonable and the installer (Isaiah) was quick, professional and courteous.
The install of the gas line for the range was a masterful job of fitting in the gas lines and shutoff into a tight place.  The dishwasher install was less clean and one of the fittings used failed and leaked (another of their employees did this install).  I called and Isaiah came back quickly and replaced the fitting.  The sink, faucet and disposer install was well done and has been working flawlessly. 
I highly recommend Isaiah, he's very good, punctual, has good connections in the local area and his work has held up.

I am pleased with them and they do a good job.  They were very polite and friendly.  They arrive when they said they will.  I have good experiences with them.  They offer suggestions that may not be quite expensive.  It is not hard to get a hold of them and if you leave a message they call you back.  They were very reasonable to work with.

He came, was clean and efficient and did the job requested without any drama.  We really appreciated it!

They were excellent.  They did not even charge you for emergency call.  They were prompt in coming out.  They were clean.  They ran ahead and told you exactly what was wrong and they did not over charge you.  Their price is reasonable.

Worker was prompt and efficient. Had to go for part and deducted time off of labor to reflect length of trip. This was the second time I used this company and was pleased with service.

The next day there seemed to be an issue with the toliet, someone came out promptly and readjusted the value (we have a brand not seem frequently).

Needed to have a hose bib replaced.  The gentleman from Dean's was courteous and did a great job, and did it quickly.  The replacement part was high quality.

We are remodeling our "man-cave" wet bar, and are waiting for new cabinets to be delivered any day.  We had decided to do all of the tear out in order to be able to reuse the old counter tops, wood trim, etc. and get everything as clean as we like before the installers arrive.   When we tried to turn off the water, we discovered the valves were too old/defective and should be replaced to avoid any messes and potential water damage to the new cabinets.  My mother had used Dean's Plumbing for other small repairs and was very satisfied, so I called them and explained what I wanted done.  I must include my comments about my initial contact--Mrs. Dean (I believe that's who answered) has one of the most professional, pleasant, and customer-oriented telephone manners that I've ever encountered, and I've dealt with a large amount and variety of businesses over my lifespan.  She consulted with me on my availability, and she scheduled the repair on the day and within the time frame that I needed, and most importantly, within 2 days of my call so that we are ready for the new cabinets to be installed any day.  She also called to let me know when they were on their way; they arrived promptly, did a good job, they were friendly and polite, and the cost was very reasonable.   I am thoroughly satisfied!

We discovered lots of water in the carpet of my son's bedroom in the basement. After some searching around, I discovered the water was coming from our water heater. I called my husband who was out if town on business, and figured out how to turn off the water supply to the water heater, but it continued to leak. I remembered that I had used Dean's Plumbing once before and that they were nice and knowledgeable. I checked Angie's List and saw they still were receiving good reviews, so I called them. At this point, it was 12:45AM, and I was expecting to leave a message on a machine. Instead, Mrs. Dean answered. I felt horrible for calling so late, but was very appreciative that she was there to take down my info and assure me that they would be able to help me. The next morning, Mrs. Dean called me and asked when I was available for them to come out and fix the water heater. They worked me into their schedule at a time I could be home. They also called me when they were on their way. Great customer service! When they arrived at my house, they got right to work, and within 1 1/2 hours I had a new water heater, complete with a pan underneath in case this one ends up ever leaking. They also showed me what they had done and how the new water heater works. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I honestly didn't know what to expect price-wise but from what I have seen reading reviews from people who used other plumbers for water heater issues, I feel like I got a good deal. Plus, I got a discount for being an Angie's List member. I would highly recommend Dean's Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs!

I was pleased with their service.  They did everything right and I couldn't be happier.  I saved at least $400 dealing with Dean's Plumbing.

They arrived exactly when they said they would, did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, and left.

I called Deans Plumbing and they came out, they were courteous, on time, punctual and polite. He did not even charge a service call fee either. He did make some suggestions, in plugging the hole so that it does not drain into the parking lot. He even talked about cutting part of the brick out of the foundation too. He did give us a solution, but it was not the solutions that we wanted to go with.

They called before coming out. I showed the two men what the problem was and they got right to work. They were really nice, knowledgeable, and efficient. Great job and great price.

They were very good and the guy was really fast. He had to cut some pipe and it set the smoke alarm off. He was extremely apologetic and got it all turned off so he was really nice and very professional. We have used them a couple of times and I think they are good. The sink cabinet has not broken and they came out the next day to provide the service.

He was polite, and friendly. And the service call was on the weekend so I felt the charge was quite reasonable.

They were excellent.  It was the father and the son.  They had a caption on the side of their van stating, ‘our plumber will arrive on time and he will smell good’.  He arrived on time.  They are terrific.  It is a family operation and they all are very nice.  The wife and the mother answer the phone and the husband and son come out and do the work.
