Called to patch a leaking area approx. 18 sq ft. Did not remove old shingles per quote, but just shingled over. The problem is its still leaking because they did not repair the leaking area. Second time was nails were loose, but the original area still has not been replaced. Their time isn't worth your money!!!

I am extremely pleased with this company. I was amazed how well organized and professional, kind the crew was. Awesome job completed in one day. Clean up was wonderful and even upon dumpster removal he even swept driveway. Well done guys. Hope you enjoyed the pizza. Would highly recommend ! Lisa, MOL ?

Used them for a complete tear off and roof replacement. Was happy with price, courtesy, and quality. Would recommend them to others and use them again for future home projects.

Terrible. Karbella Construction demolished my existing serviceable porch without first obtaining a permit or registering with the city as required. Stareted work without permit; caught by building inspector and ordered to stop work. Did not comply with building commussioner's request for plans that would meet code. Never obtained permit so legally unable to complete work. After a delay of nearly a month without a porch I requested my deposit back (50% of balance) so that I could get another contractor to do the work. Karbella refused to refund and offered unsatisfactory solutions. Since they still don't have a permit they cannot complete work which was one of the solutions. I was forced to file a small claims action in order to get my deposit back. Hearing is pending. In addition, the original invoice included excavation and poured footing. Instead, they attempted to level the existing footing but did not offer a credit. There is so much wrong with this experience. I would not recommend this company based on my personal experience. I have been greatly inconvenienced and continue to lack safe alternate emergency egress from my home for last 7-8 weeks. Karbella continues to hold my $2475.00 deposit.

The left space between the gutters and the wood that caused the leak. I had to call them back to fix cause I got the leak in the attic.

They were fantatstic, they were very proficient and on time. if i had any questions they answered them, and I thought that was very good.

I had a small leak in my roof whenever it rained, they came out found the problem re caulked around all the vents on the roof and inspected the gutters and shingles. They were both very professional and courteous they advised me if there were any more problems to call them and they would come back out if necessary, he assured me that the leak was caused from a lack of caulking around the vent exhaust. its been 2 months and we have had plenty of rain and not a single drip.

Went well. they could not make my original appointment. But, quickly rescheduled for the next day. Very proffesional and will use them again for some repairs that i need done.

The crew was fantastic.  Everything was neat and clean.  They are extremely professional.  I also like the fact that when I call them an actual person answers the phone to answer my questions.

Shane and his crew did a fantastic job with our new roof, seamless gutters, and chimney repairs. Very high quality work and it was the lowest quote we received. They even cleaned up very very well. They used a magnet over our whole property to make sure all nails were removed and tarped everything. Highly recommend Karbella Construction.

From the first day the job had issues. I will say the crew was nice, respectful and conscientious when on site. The work quality was the problem. When installing the skylights they cut two rafters and did no structural framing to reinforce the roof, the framing that they did do was uneven, had boards that didn't join at the corners and flashing that was exposed from below because the hole cut in the decking was larger than the skylight curb. This work was then presented as completed, water tight and ready for the drywall that we had committed to complete.  I would blame it on inexperienced crew, but Shane- the owner was the one who did the work.  We later found out they had not pulled a permit as required for this portion of the work which would have required a plan for how they would complete the carpentry.  We consulted an architect and contractor that has done work for us and both confirmed that as the skylights were cut in and framed, that section of roof was inadequately supported, and that under a snow load the windows were at risk of breaking and collapsing into our third floor. Shane took responsibility for the poor job and proposed the solution that they would reduce the price by 1000.00 and we could fix it because they would have to hire a carpenter to correct the problem. We agreed to that proposal on the condition that the skylights would be relocated by them to fit the framing with new associated flashing and weather sealing and shingling at their cost. 
The next issue was the window wells that had to be redone after the first rain pooled on the flat roof surface and the water
crept under the seams that didn't meet and were inadequately sealed.   They did redo the wells very nicely after we sent them pictures of the pooling water, gaps in the seams and roofing material that didn't meet the drip edge thus leaving exposed wood.  
Next, they broke siding pieces all along the first floor roof line when installing the flashing.  They said it broke because the wood was rotten.  It's 100 year old cedar so it's possible it was weakened, but any cedar board will break if you try to pry it off with a crow bar rather than cutting the nails and easing it out.   They did not repair those but left us new wood they had left over from a previous job to replace the broken boards ourselves with no price adjustment for the damage.
 In addition to the above there were other issues. We were disappointed with the look of the roof after they left. To a person, everyone that we have had look at the roof  including several building professionals and the housing inspector remarked on the shoddy appearance of the "final" product.  The shingles were not in a straight line along roof edges, the caulking around flashing was thick and clumpy, the drip edges had seams that didn't line up and they split a rafter end screwing in the gutters. Nails were protruding from the drip edge as well.  These issues were all cosmetic and we accepted that they might not be resolved. 
The two  issues that we knew did need attention were the nail that was driven through an electrical line in the attic which will require an electrician and one of the down spouts that is too short causing the draining water to overshoot the gutter and leaving water to pool on the ground at our foundation.  We didn?t have a chance to tell them about these because of what happened towards the end. 
Throughout the process I asked about the city inspections and was told that they called the city for the mandatory inspection that is required by the permit and that the inspection passed.   Saturday, the day after they said they were
done, the roof started leaking in two places. We called them and they were unwilling to come out until Monday despite
active leaking and continued rain projected for the entire weekend.  When we spoke to the office manager about our concerns she told us "these things happen" , "it probably just needs some more sealant" and that they would make it right.  At that point we became concerned with the mounting problems but Shane had been so reasonable at addressing our concerns we were confident that we would get a resolution.  
A call to the city Monday morning revealed that an inspector had never been onsite and there was no record of a call to request either of the two required inspections. Shane, the owner we had been working with from the bid through the whole project  did
not come out on Monday but sent his father.  When his father came the inspector was on site and brought up his
concerns which included roof work, the lack of inspections and failure to get a permit for the skylights.  Mr. Karbella became irate.  He started swearing, yelling, telling us that it was a big job and asking why were we constantly complaining.  He continued swearing at my husband and myself in front of the building inspector and my 12 year old daughter. I walked away to call Shane who had always been reasonable.  While I was leaving Shane a message, Mr. Karbella yelled to my husband "I'll knock your f***ing teeth out".  My husband still stayed calm.   Shane then called and also yelled and said that if we tried to pursue any refunds he would sue us and we would lose because he's been in business for 40 years. At that point they said they were going to put a lien on our house (even though we paid 9/10ths and were waiting on completion of skylights to make final payment this week).  We did file a police report about the threat and the police did confirm with the city employee present that Mr. Karbella was verbally abusive and yelling while my husband stayed calm and did not return the abuse in any way. While speaking with the police, we received a text from Shane saying we were to no longer contact them and that they were placing a lien immediately and we would hear from their attorney.  So now we are left with a leaking roof, misplaced and leaking skylights, the threat of a lien
and the need for an attorney to get a roof that is structurally sound and does not leak.

This was my second time using Karbella after having earlier purchased the $130 roof inspection and gutter cleaning deal.  Karbella provides excellent service and is very responsive.  They repaired a section of cracked wood under our shingles that was causing our shingles to peak up and relaid the shingles we already had so that you cannot tell there was ever a problem.  They also tuckpointed one of our chimneys that was causing a slow leak into our home and water damage on a wall.  Overall, great service and a competitive price, and I plan on using Karbella again for a repair and replace of gutters and fascia boards.

Excellent service.  I would definitely use Karbella again.  They responded very quickly to my purchase of the Big Deal for a roof inspection and gutter cleaning.  They came out the next week and did a thorough inspection.  They even showed my husband how clogged our one downspout was, which was quite a surprise because we had used another company to clean our gutters and downspouts just the previous fall.  They provided a detailed report of what repair work was needed on the roof and a very reasonable estimate for those repairs.

This part all went fine.  I have not yet decided what to do about the roofs so we have not done any further business, but their estimate was good and I would call them if I decide to have the work done.

The crew left a basket out side the drainage hole. I send a message to the company and the response was that someone will be fixing this... more than a week later nobody has showed up to put the basket in the right place.

It went great. Shane was friendly and did a very thorough job.

It went better than expected, I went with these guys because the company my home warranty suggested was not up to my standards, I feel they had misdiagnosed and overcharged me on my estimate
so they (my home warranty company) gave me the opportunity to outsource my own company. Talk about being nervous, I mean they only cover so much (the home warranty comp)and then when the home owner goes against who they normally use, it makes you nervous to call your own company in. But in this case I'm glad I did, Shane and his guys were thorough, the inspection was spot on and although my roof does need work done, they diagnosed my leaky toilet which was leaking into my living room, (not a leaky roof but a leaky toilet, maybe some pipes) which is way cheaper than a possible roof replacement. So after many sighs of relief, I can honestly report that Karbella plumbing was quick, efficient, HONEST and very thorough!!!!

They were prompt, they cleaned up everything and they were great.

Everything went smoothly I was very impressed considering it was 10 degrees outside. They were very responsive and came out the day I called them at 7 pm, they temporarily stopped the leak for the night and then came the next day to resolve the problem. They removed a large section of ice from the gutters and roof then installed a product call "ice gaurd" which they ensured me will stop any ice back up under the shingles and into the house. The leak in my living room has completely stopped and they are very confident it will not leak again. Everyone down to the secretary were very polite and professional I would definitely use them again.

They responded to my call and arrived on the same day.  They resolved the problem quickly and are very professional.
