Their work was good. After cutting the trees, they ground the stumps and removed a good part of it. However, they didn?t haul away all the debris lying around.

I called and they came out to do the estimate in 2 days and did the job in a week. They were an awesome contractor in all aspects. Good work, fair price, prompt.

They did everything and cleaned up in one day. They took all the wood out with the stumps. They did a beautiful job and the price was excellent. I will call them again. I have handed out his cards.

After calling for an appointment, they arrived the next day and gave us a quote. Two days after we accepted, a crew arrived and cut down the trees. They removed one completely and the left the other for firewood at our request. They did not have the stump grinder available that day, but they came the next day and finished the job. We had no urgency to remove the trees and allowed them to set the schedule accordingly. Very professional crew; courteous and maintained a clean worksite.

This was a very good experience. They were punctual, accurate and low maintenance. They had good follow up. I would use them again.

The job was scheduled about a month in advance(soonest their crane could be available)on a Monday. I did not hear from them during the preceding week, so I called late Friday afternoon and left a message to confirm they d be out. They returned my call that weekend to say, yes, they d be here on Monday. Rich and his 2-man crew(total 3)arrived on time and consulted with me on details of the work desired. They called when they were on their way and also to verify that we wanted the trees left on the ground and that we had permission from our neighbor to access the trees from her yard(we also had our neighbor sign her permission, as requested by Imperial). They completed the work in about 3 hours. Because the ground was a bit soft, they were careful to lay plywood where their truck was to go. They did have a slight mishap while backing the truck out where a wheel got off the plywood, but they were careful to tamp the soil back flat. The downed tree sections(about 10-15 lengths)were stacked neatly and in such a way to make my job of cutting them up easier. All adjacent obstacles were successfully avoided and the job went well. When my neighbor came out to observe their work, they thanked her for allowing them access.

It went as expected. They were timely. They showed up when I expected them to and left when I expected them to. They did what I asked them to do and they cleaned up afterwards.

They were careful not to hit any other trees that didn't need to be taken out. They were very efficient. They cleaned up after themselves. they also got rid of the leaves that fell.

They always have a good price and they are always right there when you need them. I would highly recommend them.

Our neighbor recommended Imperial and we had them estimate trimming or removal of a silver maple in our backyard. The price seemed a little high, but we may hire them to do the trimming work after we compare prices. They were very courteous and quick to come out, considering this was shortly after our recent big wind storm and I'm sure they were quite busy.

It went very smooth and didn't take as long as I expected. They arrived on time and were very professional. The best part was the fact that my lawn was not destroyed by the large crane they needed to use for the job, and they even cleaned up all the limbs! I would definitely recommend them.

Matt, the President, came out within several days gave an estimate. The work was scheduled for two weeks later. Two days before the work was to start, they called and left a message saying that they were running behind and asked permission to reschedule one week later. I then left a message for them that the rescheduled date was fine. They then called back the next day and thanked me for allowing them to make the change. Since this was a small job for them, they called ahead to let me know that they would do another job in the morning and come to my place in the afternoon. They came about 3:00 P.M and worked continuously until 7:00 P.M. There were five men, with a cherry picker, a huge shredder, a flat bed truck for hauling the big logs, a front end unloader, and a large chipper. Watching them work around the wires was worth the price by itself. They performed all of the work as described and without damaging my yard or any of the wires. They raked the entire yard and cleaned everything up. Each of the five were friendly and they had a lot of fun even though it must have been a very long day for them. I totally agree with the other Angie"s List members that recommended Imperial Tree, Inc. I am completely satisfied, believe that I got a real bargain, and will definitely use them again.

Called Imperial Tree to come out for an estimate on some tree and limb removal because of good ratings on The List. Betty indicated she could possibly have someone come out that same day. We waited until the end of the day when she called and said nobody could come out, but she would have someone come the next day. The next day nobody called or showed. When we called her the following day, she said she doesn't schedule appointments but that maybe someone could come by over the weekend. Forget it!

Excellent job. While they were trimming the locus trees they damaged the railing on my deck, but came back out to do the repairs.

Not bad for three kids in their late teens to early twenties.

First, they gave me a date three weeks ahead (which I had no problem, in principle, with), but when they heard that one big branch had fallen down, giving us a wake-up call, and that the huge, dead branch posed a serious threat, they sent a crew the following Monday (I talked to them late on the previous Friday). That is customer service and compassion! The job: absolutely great! The bigger branches came down safely by rope (as did, fortunately, the climber :-), and they cut the branches up and threw them, at my request, down our ravine. Friendly, funny crew. Gave 'em my favorite oat/chocolate cookies from IKEA!

I called them on a Thursday for an estimate, and they came out on Saturday, as they said they would. 2 other companies that were called made appointments and didn't show or call back. They did and estimate and we set a date. They called the day before to confirm, came out on the day they promised, and did the work. They did an AWESOME job! The trees were cut into 18-20" logs, just like I asked, and the brush was all removed. They ground all the stumps and filled the holes from the removed trees with the chips. There were 3 stumps not ground on that day because they had a mechanical problem with the grinder. I called the next day, and they promised to come back out and finish the job. 2 days later, they came back and ground those stumps! They did not wreck any of my flower beds, and left the work site tidy. Overall, they did what they promised they would do, and for a very reasonable price. I've had other tree work done, and this is the best company I have worked with. In fact, it was the most "hassle free" experience I've had with a contractor, period.

We had several large broken branches that were hung up in the trees, some dead branches that needed to be removed, and some low hanging branches that we wanted removed. They gave us an estimate before doing the work and that was what we were charged. The secretary was very friendly and called on the day of the appointment to let us know they were on their way. They were very efficient and good humored. They cleaned up so well that you couldn't even tell they had been here.

This is the second time I've used them. They are a really professional company. They sent someone out ahead of time and in case you're not home, they have you mark the trees you want to be taken down. They were quick to come out, take the tress down, remove all debris & after they finished, they followed up with me with an overview of the work and walked around with me to see if there were any issues, which there weren't. They even offered a $50 off coupon locally and they usually run this special often.

The project went very well. Due to the amount of work involved, they sent two crews, who arrived on the day and time scheduled. They started at about 9 a.m. and were done by mid-afternoon, earlier than expected. They did a great job of cleaning up the branches and loose wood, and minimized the damage to our back yard. They used a "cherry picker" to remove one of the trees on the side of our house, so they had to move a truck onto our front lawn to get the work done. But they laid down several layers of plywood ahead of time and so there was no damage to the front lawn. I was very happy with their work.

There was a mixup in scheduling the job so it took a few weeks longer for them to come out. Once they got here though they did a good job. They really ground the stump and roots well, to below ground level.

We really wanted to keep the tree but the city made us cut it down. We had three estimates and Imperial tree was the most reasonable. They cut the tree with the stump flush to the ground. I asked if they could leave the wood and not cut it up. I'm hoping that something could be made with the trunk, and the branches will be used for firewood. Crew was friendly.

They were the only company that I called that actually returned my call. They were prompt in setting up the appointment and coming out and doing the work. Everyone was very professional and they cleaned up well after.

It was a very professional service. They had all the major heavy-duty equipment. They worked like they were on an assembly line. It was very fast. Each person had a responsibility. They were out of here in 6 or 7 hours in one day. They were very reasonable. We priced 3 or 4 other companies and their price was the best.
