DISILVESTRO ROOFING CO

I talked to Mr. DiSilvestro, who comes out in person to look at the job, and he informed me that our window frames and sills were rotting out from the sun, rain and snow. He would cover them with a matching color metal and that would not allow the wood to continue to rot. They look fabulous and the employee he sent was very nice and fast. Price was reasonable too.

This is an excellent company and Paul and his crews take their work personally and do a perfect job. They consider and explain options to you and the work is done on time and on price. I can't speak highly enough about Paul and his team. I would recommend them to anyone with a complex roofing challenge as well as a traditional gabled roof. He's the kind of roofer we all want and know it's taken care of and we forget about it.

They did an excellent job. They were very knowledgeable. At their place of business, they have samples of their different roofing materials and products so we were able to make a very informed decision about what materials to use. No complaints and I would recommend this company to anyone.

Everything they did was very well done. Completely satisfied through the whole process.

The crew was fast (six hours) and did a good job cleaning up after the job. I only found one roofing nail on the garage floor. My first call for an estimate wasn't returned, but they were apologetic on the second call and came out promptly. The estimate was professional and thorough. I didn't get much advance notice before the crew came to do the work, but the weather was unpredictable that week so it was understandable.

The company promptly visited our house after my phone call, gave us a quote, and came back a week later to perform the repairs.

Called and left a message at company. Received return call, then I called them back and explained I had a water stain in my upstairs bathroom. I explained that a friend had looked in the attic and thought that the fan exhaust was leaking. I was told this would cost around $100 - $150 and that the company would call me, when they had completed the work. I asked to be called before the repair person went to my house, so I could meet them. I heard nothing from the company for about 3 weeks. There were a lot of rainy days during those three weeks, but I finally called the company and said, that if they could not find the time to get to my house, to please let me know, so I could contact another roofer. I was told that the repair had been done, the previous week. I stated, that I had asked to be called. The representative pulled my file and said yes, you did ask that and she apologized. She read what the repair was, replacement of a rotted soilstack. I received my invoice promptly.

They were excellent!

The team that worked on our roof was very professional and polite. They cleaned up each night. The temperature was very hot and they still worked very hard. I would hire them again in a heart beat. Excellent job!

They called me back & said they would come out for an estimate on a particular day, but never did & didn't call to reschedule.

I THINK I WOULD CALL THEM AGAIN IF I NEEDED TO HAVE ANY KIND OF WORK DONE.

CALLED FOR AN ESTIMATE ON A LEAK IN THE ROOF. I LEFT A MESSAGE & THEY NEVER CALLED BACK. IN THE FUTURE I WILL USE THE ROOFER THAT RESPONDED & ADDRESSED THE PROBLEM.

I GOT DISILVESTRO'S NUMBER FROM BOTH ANGIE'S LIST AND THE ROCKY RIVER BUILDING DEPARTMENT. I DIDN'T REALIZE AT FIRST THAT I CALLED THEM TWICE BECAUSE I GOT THEIR NUMBER FROM 2 DIFFERENT SOURCES. DESPITE CALLING THEM TWICE, THEY DID NOT CALL ME BACK ABOUT GETTING AN ESTIMATE FOR OVER ONE MONTH AFTER THE FIRST TIME I CALLED THEM - WEEKS LATER THAN ANY OTHER ROOFER THAT I CALLED (AND I CALLED ABOUT 20). WHEN THEY DID CALL BACK, THEY LEFT A MESSAGE STATING THAT SOMEONE WOULD BE COMING OUT TODAY. THEY DIDN'T TRY TO SET A TIME THAT WAS MUTUALLY CONVENIENT - JUST ANNOUNCED THEY'D BE COMING OUT LATER. ALTHOUGH THEIR RECEPTIONIST IS VERY NICE, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING THEM UNLESS YOU DON'T NEED YOUR ROOF FOR A YEAR.

MIKE WAS A ONE MAN SHOW, WHO FOUND THE LEAK, REPAIRED IT AND WATERPROOFED OUR BALCONY.

WE WERE THRILLED! THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND THE ROOF LOOKS BEAUTIFUL! HAVING NO PROBLEMS WITH THE ROOF AT ALL!! THOROUGH AND HELPFUL, VERY EASY TO WORK WITH.

HAD A SMALL LEAK BUT THEY GOT IT RIGHT.

PAUL WAS VERY NICE AND POLITE AND TOLD US SPECIFICALLY WHAT HE WAS GOING TO. PAUL CHECKED BACK AND WE WERE HAPPY WITH THE ROOF. NOW WE HAVE SOME KIND OF LEAK. PAUL WAS CALLED AND RESPONDED IN A TIMELY MATTER. HE SAW THE DAMAGE AND ASSURED US THAT THE ROOF WILL BE REPAIRED AS SOON AS THE WEATHER PERMITS AT NO EXPENSE TO US AS HE STANDS BEHIND HIS WORK!

I ASKED PAUL TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE ON REPLACING AN AREA OF FLAT ROOF AND ALSO AN ESTIMATE ON REROOFING THE WHOLE HOUSE. ONE OF THE REASONS I DID NOT USE THIS COMPANY, IS THAT OUT OF 4 ESTIMATES, HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO SAID WE HAD TWO LAYERS OF SHINGLES ON THE ROOF, BECAUSE HE WAS THE ONLY ONE, I DID NOT BELIEVE HIM. IT TURNED OUT THAT HE WAS CORRECT AND EVERYONE ELSE WAS WRONG.

THE FIRST TIME THEY TOOK CARE OF IT. HOWEVER SINCE IT LEAKS AGAIN I HAVE LOST CONFIDENCE IN THEIR COMPANY. I WILL SEEK OTHER OPTIONS.

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING, ALTHOUGH I WAS ABLE TO HAVE THE WORK DONE FOR A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS LESS. I PLAN ON CALLING PAUL IN THE SPRING FOR AN ESTIMATE ON SIDING.

PAUL DISILVESTRO IS A VERY KIND AND KNOWLEDGEABLE MAN. HE EXPLAINED A LOT ABOUT ROOFING AND ANSWERED THE NUMEROUS QUESTIONS WE HAD. THE PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR HIM ARE COURTEOUS AND GENTLEMANLY. PAUL PERSONALLY RESPOND IN A VERY TIMELY FASHION TO ANY CONCERNS AND QUESTIONS. LINDA, THE SECRETARY, IS VERY NICE AND KNOWS A LOT ABOUT ROOFING ALSO. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! A+++++++++++ AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETE AND PAID FOR, MY HUSBAND CALLED PAUL ABOUT INSULATION INFORMATION AND PAUL CALLED BACK AND GAVE US ALL THE INFORMATION WE NEEDED.

DID A GOOD JOB AND PRICE WAS OK. CAME IN DECEMBER OF 2001 TO GIVE ESTIMATE. DID WORK IN JUNE OF 2002. COMPANY HAS STILL NOT MADE IT BACK TO DO A MINOR CAULK REPAIR ON WORK THEY DID LAST JUNE. I FEEL THIS COMPANY DOES NOT PREFER SMALL JOBS. SALES ASPECT IS FINE BUT LABOR ASPECT IS POOR. IF I WERE GOING TO HAVE THEM DO ANOTHER JOB AGAIN I WOULD HAVE THEM SPELL OUT WHEN WORK WOULD TAKE PLACE AND HAVE A PENALTY CLAUSE IN CONTRACT.

HARD-WORKING CREW; DID EXCELLENT CLEANUP

WORK WAS PERFORMED AS DESCRIBED IN ESTIMATE FOR WORK AND WITHIN ESTIMATED COST. WORK SITE WAS KEPT VERY CLEAN DURING SITE AND SITE CLEAN UP AFTER WORK WAS VERY GOOD. WORKMANSHIP APPEAR TO ALSO BE VERY GOOD.
