With the name **pro**? I was expecting an actual professional painter. Just the opposite. Horrible work. Hire someone else.

Certapro Westlake & Medina-Strongsville just finished painting the exterior trim of my 2-story home with multiple eaves, windows & doors. They did a very professional job in every respect. They were careful, efficient, punctual, checked their work & were courteous -- all for a fair price. It was a 5-star experience in every way. Highly recommended.

About a month later, the paint is peeling off of the cabinets. Every touch seems to remove more of the paint. From the looks of things, the cabinets were not properly sanded before they were painted. At this point, we are considering sanding them back down ourselves and repainting them. The only redeeming quality was the exterior paint job. I would not recommend this business for a skilled interior job. UPDATE: They offered to fix up the cabinets under the warranty, but no call/no show the expected day that I took off of work. Texted me the following week, but I couldn't take another day off of work to let them in.

The estimator was kind and professional. Said they were going to power wash and sand my deck. Also said they would seal an area where there is a flower box. Then the work began. They did powerwash the deck. Left paint chips from the deck all over my yard. Said his rake was broke so he couldn’t clean it all up. Didn’t seal. Didn’t sand. Slapped down a coat and called it a day. Don’t think I’ll ise them again. My deck will probably need to be redone in the spring.

I was very impressed by the painters, the quality of work was great.

Work was completed in 3 days. 1st day was just prep and pressure washing. Quality was very nice with two quotes of paint down. Crew listened to exactly how I wanted colors to be applied to shutters, trim, gutters, door etc. and it came out exactly as expected. CertaPro also sends out a color consultant from Sherwin-Williams at no additional charge which is very helpful in coordinating a color scheme.

Started project last Monday started 2 hours earlier than they said didn't put tarps down and paint chips got all in the flower beds. Left at noon and never came back to clean up. Came back later Tuesday. Office manager said she would cancel contract. May have underbid

They have not started the job yet. My initial contact with them was professional and thorough. I cannot judge their quality of work because they have not done the work yet.

Customer service rating would have been better, but the company has a problem communicating with customers. I had to call several times to find out when they were coming and then they came when I wasn't expecting them. The crew did a fantastic job though, so I would recommend the company. I think they can improve on the customer service though.

The painter that came was not the one I expected and he didn't have the contract with him but he was very personable and did an excellent job.

this is the ONLY company that took on my very small project. (painting the front door of my brick home) for only 250.00 they stripped layers of lead paint and gave it 2 coats of heritage red! It looks really nice. They missed a couple tricky spots around the glass, but I was able to fix it myself. Hey, for $250.00 no biggie. We will use them again this fall when painting a bedroom. Super nice guy too.

Good work when completed. The paint team that showed up did not appear to have talked at all to the person that visited and submitted the contract/estimate. Once we got on the same page, good work, not cheap but guaranteed.

They gave us a great quote and we signed a contract May 16th for deck and fence staining and power washing of our paver patios. The first contractor that finally showed up would not even do the job - said the quote was too low. The owner of the 2nd company they sent out showed up weeks later. He didn't do the job that day because he didn't have drops cloths to cover our shrubs, but left his power washer here over the weekend. He came out with a big crew and they power washed the fence and went over the deck again. We had already power washed the deck and patio so we could bring out our patio furniture. We have contacted the sales manager and owner of the Westlake franchise and the corporate office of Certa Pro in Canada. They all assured us that the job would get done. A couple of weeks ago, 2 guys showed up to work (1 of which had been here for the power washing). They did not stay - said they didn't have the right equipment or manpower to do the job, but would be back the next day. Does that sound familiar? That is the last time we saw or heard from anyone. You would think someone from the Westlake office would have called us. When we try to call the sales manager we get a message that his phone is not accepting calls.
