They've worked out ok. Some of the individuals who have come out have been better than others.

The service was very good. There was some delay in the removal of the old water heater.

Don came out and tried to snake the line but he wasn't hitting any clog inside the house. So he had to call in his sewer crew cory and damian to use the camera and machine that snakes the pipes futher out. They hit mud so that meant the clay pipe was broken. Since they had the toilet off anyways, i asked them if they could replace the water valve to the toilet and they did. The next two days Damian dug the front yard down to the pipe and installed a new pvc pipe where the clay one had broken. he also installed a snake pipe outside so that it is easier to fix clogs in the future. Considering the work that they had to do, I thought three days was reasonable. the first day with replacing the valve and the snaking cost 195 and two days of digging and replacing the pipe cost 1000. This was very reasonable compared to some other estimates that i called for on monday night before the work started. Overall i thought they were very professional, friendly and efficient. I will definitely call them again if i have other plumbing work to be done.

What an experience!! Before he left on Tuesday, Corey stated not to run the bathroom sink water until he returned so that all water could drain out. He returned on Wednesday along with the owner who surveyed the situation and told Corey to go ahead. In about an hour's time he had the pipe cut out, the drain completely cleaned, the new pipe put in place, and the basement cleaned up once again without one speck of dirt anywhere. I have found my new plumbing company. Their prices are so much less than what I was paying my previous plumbing company and they never even took the time to actually clean out the drain properly. Corey said that sludge had been there for a long time so apparently the other company took the simplest route. Very unprofessional!! I told Corey I will be calling shortly to have my bathtub drain cleaned out also and I will. I am truly pleased with their workmanship, their pricing, their response time, and the company as a whole, just really nice people to deal with: The scheduler was very helpful, the owner was very professional , and Corey was an excellent worker.

The disposal itself had burned out. He put a new one in. Cory did the work and was a very nice young man, so professional. He took his shoes off when he came into my home. He also gave me an Angie's List discount which I appreciated. If I have any plumbing issues in the future, I would use them again and highly recommend them to others! I can't praise them enough.

Sent two guys--very nice and professional to the house. Very prompt and easy to schedule. One cleared the drain in the bathroom upstairs and the other started the work on the basement drain. Took a length of roots out of the drain that was about four feet long. the drain in the rec room began overflowing nine days later. they were willing to come back out, but b/c of scheduling problems, my husband scheduled someone else. However we would use them again. they did call back and leave a message on his cell phone.

The service man was quick, on time and did an excellant job. I highly recomend him.

They came out promptly. They were thorough and did a good job. They were friendly and polite.

By referral American Plumbing was called. Don came over gave me the estimate immediately that included two options with tanks. Made the suggestion to reverse flush the lines due to the white residue in the pipes etc. He was completely correct because by the time I waited for another estimate the white stuff doubled. American Plumbing came in took care of business with the new tank, replaced hot water lines, screens, tightened up my faucet in kitchen, just overall excellent.

Excellent. Two of the company owner's sons performed the work. The older, 15-year experienced son did most of it. His younger brother was home from college on break, helping with the job. They disconnected the old, leaking water heater, installed the new one, took good care while soldering the water pipes and installing the new PVC vent. They were done in just over 2-hours - just 30 minutes under their time estimate. The older brother knows his craft and is more business than talk, which is fine 'cause that's what he's there to do.

I highly recommend Don and his crew. From beginning to end this company was great to work with. The estimate was reasonable, and the work was completed within a very realistic time frame. They are extremely professional and highly competent. Our plumbing is fixed - it works like it should, is up to proper code specifications and the horrible smell is gone! For all your plumbing needs - Don is the man!

Overall, it went very well. I was given a 2-hour window (10:30 AM - 12:30 PM) for the appointment. Corey arrived at about 11:20 AM and began working. He completed the work by about 2:05 PM. He encountered no problems. It was just a time consuming job because the work had to be done behind the back closet wall.

They were pretty inexpensive and they did a pretty good job. I would use them again in future.

He indicated when he come by, and did. Professional and happy with the service. I plan to use him again.

I had previously contacted a different plumber. They told me the problem was with my vents, they needed to be cleaned out. That didn't work so then I was told I would need to have a sagging drainage pipe replaced and that locating and replacing it would cost a minimum of $1300.00. I wanted a second opinion and contacted American Plumbing. I told Don the entire story and he said he believed all I needed was a new toilet. He was right. I will no longer use the original plumber and plan to make American Plumbing my plumbing company of choice.

I have used them several times for different issues. I once had them out to replace all of the storm lines. They are people that I always go to for plumbing work. They are very honest and give reasonable estimates, and always stick to their estimates. When I had them out for the main sewer work I was having a lot of flooding problems in my basement. Instead of trying to remedy the symptom they had solved the problem by suggesting a solution to it. They had proved that I could trust them. On another occasion I had used them to install a battery backup on my thumb pump in the basement. I have also had them out to snake my sanitary main.

We were so glad they could come out right away to fix it. They did a really good job. They came out in a timely manner, they were on time and did what they were asked to do.

It was a great experience overall. I trust this contractor . We thought that it was the toilet paper that kept causing the problem but more likely a toddler granchild was the culprit. There was a small object clogging the line and after snaking out the problem toilet lines it cleared itself.

He identified the problem quickly. He was very prompt and did a good job, and the price was about what I expected. He also cleaned up well.

When the plumber left everything was working properly. There were no leaks.

The technician arrived when scheduled. The job was done in less time than I expected. All required parts were available in the truck. Several components were replaced when the technician noticed that they were old and needed replacing. The work areas were cleaned nicely after the work was complete. It was a great relief not to have to do the work myself. I was very pleased with the experience. I will definitely use this company again.

The plumber arrived 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Fortunately, I was home. He determined what he believed the problem was and told me he would order a part and call me when it came in. After he left, I had some follow-up questions that would affect what was ordered. I called three times and left a message with the receptionist. I never received a call from the plumber. The receptionist would not give me a direct contact number.

I have spent 2 years fighting with this basement drain, including setting a timer when the washer is running to prevent flooding (not always successful!) I had another plumber try to snake it & he suggested I would have to have the basement floor broken up to replace the trap. Corey persevered in snaking the drain, including sticking his arm down up to his elbow. He advised me the the top of the trap had a couple of broken pieces, but he pulled them out, continued to snake it, and Voila, a free running drain!! It certainly is nice to be able to do other things while the washer runs!! Two years of inconvenience solved in 30 minutes!

It would be hard to be more pleased than I was with the experience. Plumbing issues are never smooth, but this was (from my experience on the ground). I have used American Plumbing in the past and will continue to do so.

Excellent experience. Responded promptly to request for estimate, underbid competitor by hundreds of dollars, began work promptly upon acceptance of bid and completed all work in four hours, and left no signs they were even there in the work area other than the new water heater and faucets and the repaired toilet. All the work was done a month ago and everything is functioning as expected.
