Trees Are My Business

This company probably does not need another positive review, but here goes: 1. Dependable. The owner came out to talk about what needed to be done. We decided to go with the day rate. The owner said four-to-six weeks. It was, but one delay occurred because of employee illnesses, and one occurred on my part because of a threat of bad weather. On the assigned day, the entire crew showed up at one time with all equipment promptly at 8:30 a.m. 2. Team Work. The crew of 7 people, including the owner, had an an arsenal of equipment and trucks to handle this big job. Everyone did their jobs and worked together to cut down trees, trim trees, and move a ton of remains to the street and be picked up and put in trucks for disposal. I stood and watched in amazement most of the day. 3. Committed and Professional. All of the crew seemed to be committed to their work and were professional in all respects. I never saw any of them take a break, and they were at this location until about 3:30 p.m. They were friendly and respectful of property. 4. Communication. The owner had communicated about what would be done, and he delivered on this. On the day of the service, another walk through was done. I had a problem with a neighbor in terms of trimming a tree. The owner talked to him twice about what could be done. The guys checked with me a few times while doing work. I was observing a lot of the work. When I saw limbs or other trimming that need to be done, they were glad to accommodate. When in doubt, they asked me. I had also communicated about a fragile driveway. No one went on the driveway with any equipment and took the remains around the other side of the house, which was more work for them. They put down plywood boards on the grass for this purpose and for moving equipment around. I'll also say the owner's wife, the business manager, was very responsive to telephone calls and communicating about when the work would be done. 5. Motivated. These individuals took their jobs seriously and were motivated to do the job. I think all of them have been with this company for long term. As I watched much of their work, I saw that they were not just rovers coming through the neighborhoods to make a quick buck as they hack up the trees and don't have the equipment or manpower to handle the kind of job needed. On many, if not all the trees, an individual started from bottom to top, climbing the tree manually and trimming and pruning meticulously and resorting to a small chain saw when appropriate. Without going into detail, they also did some things that I never asked or would have expected them to do. 6. When the job was done, I was asked about everything and whether I needed anything else. Then, they were gone as quickly as they came. The only sign of them having been there was two areas where stumps were removed near the house. Use them again? No doubt.

The crew came punctually and began their set up immediately. Everyone seemed to know their role and they functioned remarkably as a cohesive team. They were: Very organized and efficient throughout the entire process. Friendly and responsive to all my questions. Worked quickly and were in and out in a very short time. They placed boards on the ground to drive their equipment and did not damage the property. The clean-up crew removed all debris. I was very impressed by this service and would definitely recommend them.

Anthony arrived with his crew of about 8 men and plenty of equipment. He has a Bobcat- like piece of equipment that he stands on the back of. This equipment is very powerful and has a claw and pulled out some very large shrubs roots and all. He removed the shrubs all around our home and sunroom as well as five 12 ft tall arborvitae that were falling over. He and his crew also pruned four large trees on our property. His crew actually crawled up in the trees to cut out limbs. They look so much better now! While all this was going on, his crew was cleaning up the old shrubs and placing them in a truck for removal. They actually had an arm on the truck to lift the heavy shrubs into the truck. They raked all the beds and swept the dirt off the sidewalk. Another contractor we spoke to said he would cut the shrubs off and then use a stump grinder. We didn't think we wanted a stump grinder so close to our house and doubted that it would efficiently remove all the roots. With Andrew orchestrating it all, his crew worked well together and they were very efficient. It was really something to watch. Some of our neighbors turned out to watch the process. When it came to planting the beds a few days later, the soil was loose with shrubs being pulled out by the roots. Great job! Very professional company.

They did a great job, worked quickly, and charged a very fair price. I would highly recommend them to others. Most other contractors leave a good sized stump in the yard but Trees are my Business cut the trees down right to the ground and they left the yard looking nice and clean. They do good work. I'd have them back.

Working with Anthony and his people at "Tress Are My Business" was one of the best service experiences I have had in my life. They were incredibly responsive, highly professional, very punctual, very reasonably priced, and did outstanding work. I wish I could give them a grade higher than "A" in all categories. Outstanding company!

It went great. The price was very fair and Anthony came out right away. We will definitely call him again

The owner Anthony, came to our house in mid August to provide an estimate. His price was reasonable and in the ball park of other estimates. I went with him because his price included grinding the stumps. Anthony and 4 workers came to our house on time Thursday. They immediately started laying plywood down in the yard which their small cat ran on. They took the pines down making sure the tress fell where they wanted. The ash tree was between my deck and my neighbor's fence about 4 feet apart. They expertly down limbs and logs between the gap doing no damage to either. The ash tree had several large limbs hanging in my neighbor's yard. She came out worried about that (she gave me permission for TAMB to be in her yard.). They were very professional in explaining their work and easing her mind. The cleanup was fantastic. I found no wood or branches in my yard and very few leaves. My neighbor's yard was even cleaner. Even the street where they dumped the debris was cleaned and gone. Except for the missing trees, you could not tell they were there. I was impressed, each man never stopped for a moment. They started at 9AM and finished by 12:30PM.

They do exceptional work. He gave me a cancellation. He does perfect clean up. Anthony is wonderful to work with. Reasonable prices. He even offered a service for free. He is extremely hard working.

Trees Are My Business came recommended by my neighbor and by the local nursery that I shop at. Anthony responded immediately and came to our house to evaluate the job. He gave us a great price and we scheduled the job. The receptionist called us a couple of days in advance to tell us the time the crew would be here. They came right on time. There was about 6-8 men who each seem to have a specific job. They were in and out within 40 minutes. They did an EXCELLENT job. They took down a huge tree without letting any of the branches hit our fence, patio, landscaping, or pergola. They cleaned up after they were done. They were very polite. I would use them again in the future and recommend them to our friends.

It went well. I called them and they came out right away. I plan on using them again in the future.

Anthony came to our property and gave us an estimate. We agreed to have him do the work. He called a few days in advance to schedule a two-hour window. He and his crew arrived on time and performed the agreed upon work (and slightly more) for the agreed upon price. They cut the branches and removed them from our property. The clean-up was so neat that you cannot tell that they were ever here. They were in and out quickly. It appears that Anthony, the owner, is present at every job he schedules. I cannot imagine why I would ever call anyone else for tree-work in the future.

Anthony returned my call promptly, looked at my tree and determined in was in danger of falling. They removed the tree the following morning right before a huge afternoon storm. They did a great job. I'm really pleased they responded so quickly and would use them again.

Great! Anthony was very professional on our first meeting. His crew came with three large trucks, did the work & cleaned up all of the foliage that spread. They were great! All for $400.

My opinion is they have state of the art equipment, big crew, fast, neat. Amazed how they cleaned yard and street before leaving. I have never had such a good experience dealing with any kind of company.

I was very pleased with Trees are My Business. I used them to trim and neaten 2 large maples in my yard. I received several quotes, and they were the cheapest. A team of about 8 guys came to my house, and they all worked to efficiently get the job done, which was fun to watch. They did exactly what I had hoped they would with respect to the trees, and really did a nice job cleaning up after themselves with rakes and blowers. No complaints...I will definitely use them again.

I had three services provide an estimate. Anthony's was the lowest by a significant amount (I couldn't believe the range in estimates I received), and since he had strong AL reviews, I chose to use his company. He and Maureen (who runs the office) were very responsive and communicative. I appreciated the small business/personal feel of the way they operate. They were able to get me on the schedule in a timely manner, and showed up exactly on time. I arrived home about 30 minutes after they began working, and I was very impressed with what I found. Impressive trucks and equipment, a uniformed crew wearing safety gear, protection for my property (e.g., laid wood down over the front lawn so equipment and crew wouldn't damage it), and very efficient work. One worker stopped to greet me and answer my questions about what was going on and the plan for work. Anthony was up in a tree so I appreciated his crew talking with me. He came down to talk with me later and suggested i trim a different tree in my yard that twas touching my roof. I appreciated him noticing since I had not. I returned to work before they finished. Anthony called when they completed the work to let me know they were finished and had one small problem (my cable line got cut by their skid loader because it had not been buried properly - this was not the fault of Trees Are My Business and I appreciated Anthony proactively letting me know instead of finding it when I got home). I arrived home after work to find everything cleaned up and two large piles of mulch where the trees were removed and stumps ground. My backyard was pretty torn up (some plants flattened by falling limbs and big divets in my yard), but I think that is to be expected when work like this is being done. Overall, I was very pleased with the professionalism, work, and status of my home/yard once the work was done.

I'd done some shopping around and Anthony's estimate came in lowest, by far. Even though I never once met the man, he was easy to work with, left the estimate in my mailbox, and did the same with the bill once the work was complete. All I had to do was pick a day and mail the check. As someone who works during the day, I appreciated him accommodating my schedule. Stump grinding was not done the same day which was a bit of a concern, but Anthony assured me that his "guy" who does the grinding would take care of it, and he did! Came home one day to piles of mulch in place of the stumps. The only negative was that some large divots were left in the front yard, presumably from outrigggers on some of the equipment. It didn't bother us enough to call and make him fix it, but it was a bit annoying all the same.

Anthony came out to my house to give me a quote and then came out a second time to talk to my neighbor because it was my neighbor's tree. We needed to know how far in to cut. My neighbor and I both ended up hiring Trees Are My Business to do some trimming. Anthony was my lowest quote by $100. We were initially scheduled during the week, but a severe cold snap and heavy snow caused a delay. Anthony called me to let me know the guys could come out on a Sunday. I agreed. I appreciated that he fit me in because I wanted those raccoons out. It was a balmy 39 degrees. 3 workers showed up on time, trimmed the tree via ropes and cutters on the ground. They had a truck for instant disposal. They were in an out in an hour. They cleaned up well and were friendly and professional. I even shared some cool pictures of the tree climber swinging 30 feet in the air over my power lines. I would hire this company again.

Anthony and his crew came out last summer and trimmed a number of branches off of several trees. He went over things beforehand, so I knew exactly what to expect. The work was performed quickly, with no problems. The cleanup was fantastic, nothing for me to do afterwards. The price was great, and the overall service was top-notch. Anthony and his crew are true professionals; I plan to call them again for all my tree needs. I highly recommend them; a neighbor originally recommended them to me, and several other neighbors have had them out, with similarly great results. A real quality company.

We were very pleased with their work. I insisted on using trained climbers rather than heavy duty equipment on my lawn that leaves ruts. Their clean up was so good, you would have never known they were here

Excellent! The team arrived on time on the date planned and quickly removed the fallen limb and the dead limb. They picked up all the debris and cleaned up after themselves. They were also respectful of my property and landscaping. At that visit I asked about having 3 stumps removed in the future and they returned the next week and removed them as discussed. Again they were speedy, did a very nice job and treated my property well. I will definitely continue to use them in the future. Also I think their prices are very fair and competitive.

Anthony and his crew arrived in a timely manner and went right to work. They are very professional and efficient. I couldn't believe how quickly they got the job done...with the help of amazing equipment. Clean-up was also great. I will definitely hire this company again.
