Feedback should be timely and this isn't. But every time I drive by this place I feel my blood pressure rising. My mother passed away in August of 2013. I had taken care of her myself for a couple of years, up to the point of hospice. I needed to plan her funeral...my first time caring for such an event. I was exhausted, grieving and totally overwhelmed. I went to this place on a recommendation and was surprised to be met with the owner admonishing me for not coming in sooner. He was shaming me from the time I walked in the door. Normally I would have walked out but because this was the first time I had been in this position, and I felt like I didn't really know what I was doing, I allowed him to intimidate me into believing I was late. In my mind all I could see was me running all over town trying to get flowers for my mom's funeral. As if this wasn't bad enough I allowed him to badger and shame me into ordering something I didn't want. I wanted a simple spray of only sunflowers, which were her favorite. He insisted no one would have only sunflowers and that I needed something else with it. He suggested red roses...I acquiesced and I was sorry. I hated the spray. My mom would have hated it. This guy saw me coming. He did not give two cents about me as a person or a customer. All he did was bully me when I was vulnerable. One would think someone in the floral business would have better business acumen. I would never give this man any more of my money and would advise you to stay away unless you like to be bullied.

They originally sent the flowers to the hospital, but mom wasn't allowed to have flowers. They tried again, but she changed rooms. Then they tried again, but by then she was discharged. So they sent them to her home in New Albany! I offered to pay for the extra deliveries, but they said it wasn't a problem and were unbelievably nice about it. The lady just kept saying that she simply wanted mom to be happy with her flowers and that they were happy to take care of it. I was so impressed!
Description of Work: I sent flowers to my mom, who was in St. Ann's Hospital. The flowers were gorgeous, smelled incredibly beautiful, and my mom kept commenting that they lasted forever! She was extremely pleased.

Ordered through 1-800-Flowers and Reno florist filled the order. Roses looked nice upon delivery & nicely arranged with greenery like the on-line photo, however buds did not open. Balloon bouquet drooped by second day.
Description of Work: Dozen mixed color rose bouquet and balloon bouquet.
