Jobie's -- JTS Tree & Landscape, LLC

We had trees trimmed a couple of years ago. While the company was trimming my trees, they smashed my AC unit. They agreed to replace it. They learned they had to replace our furnace and our AC at the same time because of the set up. It cost us an extra $4,000 dollars (on top of the $3,000 we spent on service). They had someone named Rick install our furnace. Ever since it’s been installed, it makes loud noises whenever it turns on. Rick has stated he would come back for over A YEAR to fix it and hasn’t come. Jobie at JTS has not responded to any of our messages. It’s been long enough without a resolution and we’re getting ready to pursue other avenues to have this situation resolved. Would not recommend this company because if something goes wrong, it’s not guaranteed to be fixed. We trusted them to make this right. Very disappointing.

Excellent. Job completed in less than 30 minutes. No damage and all traces of tree were removed.

After getting estimate, took about 3 weeks to schedule; had to postpone once due to poor weather; on service date, Ralph & crew arrived promptly; explained how they would cut; took about 90 minutes; cleaned up well in yard; had a broken blower, so had to come back later and finish clean-up. Excellent job. Very happy. Had done several neighbors previously. Would hire again

Jobie’s team did a great job. They were very thorough and cleaned up completely after the work was done. We were impressed that the owner himself came to our property to see what needed to be done and to provide an estimate.

They are always punctual and always available in an emergency. He always returns my calls pretty quickly. I would recommend them. I've been with them for a lot of years. It's always Jobie who comes out to check up on things.

We had a very large declining Red Leaf Maple in our front yard and an another large maple in the back yard that was a hazard. I got estimates from 4 different tree services and JTS was by far the best and Jobie was a great guy. We decided to go with JTS. They were good to work with on scheduling. They arrived on time did the work as they said. Did a really nice job on the stump grinding which with the large tree was a big task. I certainly would recommend JTS and have. They'll be my first call the next time I need tree services.

They were awesome! They were very accommodating working around our rental schedule. The work needed to be done on an off-day. It couldn't have gone better.

Tree was not pruned far enough off of electrical wires, required additional pruning within 3 months.

They were the best - everything clean when they left and done to protect my property as the tree hung over the house.

I did not hire this service. You keep on emailing me to give a review.

Excellent - Workmanship is above reproach. The guys were kind, curious and extremely diligent in what they had to do. I've used this company for over 20 years and wouldn't have anyone else on my property.

The two workers who came out took many smoking breaks. My sense was that they were taking their time to make sure they put in enough time to justify the cost of the job. After they left I looked at their work, and there were many weeds left in the back flower bed. One would think that for this price, the beds would be completely free of weeds!!

I am a retiree and I am on a fixed income. I have negotiated with vendors in the past to get a better price. As I explained to Tammy, when I paid the bill, even a $50 reduction would have helped!

I don't feel that the result of this work was worth this exorbitant price! I am Secretary of the HOA here and I will repost this message to my neighbors. I will not use JTS in the future nor will I reccommend them to my neighbors.

Jobie SR, the owner, came out three weeks ago to look over what needed to be done. To be fair, I did agree to his estimate of $860 and signed the contract. In the interim, prior to them coming, I did some weeding, hoping to reduce the overall costs associated with this project. I also wanted to define the plants that I didn't want them to pull. On 5/11/16 I called the office and talked to Tammy Jobie, the owner's wife and asked her if I might be able to reduce the costs since I had done some weeding of the beds. She said no. I also met with Jobie SR and his son the day of the job and asked if I might be able to get a reduction in price. They refused and said that because I had signed the contract and agreed to this outrageous price, I wouldn't be able to get a reduction. Jobie also said that the cost of mulch alone would prohibit a reduction. The two workers who came out took many smoking breaks. Excellent tree removal/tree service company. Very professional with exceptional high quality.

After calling their office asking for their arborist to visit, he arrived promptly the following day. Their company had removed our dying pine trees last year and replaced them with healthy ones. I had noticed the beginning of some tree damage when I called for help. Jobie arrived the following morning and diagnosed the problem quickly. The next morning they returned to thoroughly spray the trees. Hopefully, the problem has been solved. I always appreciate their quick response time and reasonable prices.

I was originally scheduled for between 11 and 1 on a Friday. I called after 1:30 and was told they wouldn't get there that day because earlier customer had asked for additional work not scheduled. They rescheduled me for 8 a.m. the next Wednesday even though I had stayed home since mid-morning until mid-afternoon waiting on them. Moreover, I had to call them to find out they wouldn't be there. Seems like they could have called me sooner. All this made me feel like a 2nd class customer especially after I was told the other customer would have had to pay more for them to come back to finish the additional work, so they stayed. I realize there is a fine line between balancing customers. Personally, if I had added work that was not scheduled and was told they had other customers already scheduled, I would have expected them to have to come back at a later date. I think this is poor customer relations. 
In spite of all that, I would use them again. I respect Jobie's expertise and his knowledge of trees. He found me a beautiful quality replacement tree. Even the installation crew commented on what a nice tree it is. The crew was very nice and did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves. They told me how I needed to care for the tree. They did not have enough mulch with them to cover the area around the tree but came back the same afternoon to finish mulching. I also want to give kudos to the woman who normally works in the office. She was always pleasant, professional and helpful. 

This is the second time that we've used Jobie's for tree removal (and pruning last time). They did great work. One of the branches nicked our back screen and they offered a discount to offset the damage. One of the large trees was right next to our deck and that was the only damage because their guys were very careful. Small ding on punctuality because there was a last minute cancel just before they were due to arrive. Things happen and it's understandable. They rescheduled for the next day and we were able to accommodate because I work from home.

Jobie's JTS Tree Service showed up as scheduled and removed a dying ash tree. I was not home when the service was provided but when I pulled up to our home after work I was amazed at how clean my lawn was left. The only evidence that I ever had a tree in the front lawn was a neatly arranged section of bare soil where the tree used to be. My wife asked me if they used a vacuum on the lawn to pick up the mulched chips from cutting down the tree and grinding the stump out; the lawn was immaculate! I would give Jobie the highest possible recommendation and referral. Professional and the highest quality service in every way.

I needed large tree in yard thinned and trimmed.  Jobie came and gave the best estimate and pointed out what areas his crew would take care of.

I received a call letting me know when they would be out and I actually had to arrange for a different day and time. They were awesome and flexible.

They came the day they said and did a great job. Hauled away all the branches too.  I would have never known they were event there. 

Jobie came out after to inspect work of his team and agreed to come back out and cut a little more from the tree.  Whole process and experience was super.

Will definitely use Jobie and his team again.
