The plumber arrived promptly and answered all my questions. He worked efficiently and had the pump installed within 1-1.5 hours. I would have them come out to inspect the pump in the future as I was impressed with their service.

This company was great to work with. They were friendly when I first called at 7:30am but mentioned that they may not be able to get anyone out until after 4pm which would qualify as afterhours/overtime. This was the only plumber I called that would quote a rate -- all the others I called would not. So when I called back at 8:30am to schedule, they said they could actually get me in before 3:30pm and it would at be the regularly hourly rate -- which was quite reasonable. Furthermore, someone was at our house by about 12:30pm. The plumber who arrived, John, was courteous, thorough and informative about what was going on; additionally he was efficient with his time at our house completing the diagnostics and the repair work in 1.5 hours. I was very pleased with everything about our experience with Jack L Woods Plumbing. From Larry who answered the phone to John who completed the repairs. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and we would definitely use this company again in the event we would need them.

I originally hired this company to install a sump pump with a battery back up. When Josh arrived and looked at the hole, he said it was not large enough for the battery back up. So, he installed a new sump pump. I was pretty disappointed because we have had situations where there is a big storm, power failure, and then, a flooded basement. Josh did a fine job and one day soon we will be appreciative of having the new sump pump.

It went great. The tech seemed pretty knowledgeable. We had a couple of things that needed to be done. They worked efficiently. They understood what needed to be done to take care of the problem. We'd use them again.

fist of all, they respond the my inquiry quickly. It is about 10 minutes after I send the email. second the service man arrived on time, and the cost is within the estimate. I will use them again in the future.

Dave S.,the technican, called ahead to confirm he was in route for our appointment. Dave was very polite and professional. He was very knowledgeable and friendly while giving great advise on the product we had purchased. The replacement took about a hour. We are very happy with the service we received today and will use them in the future for any further updates or repairs.

Went great overall. The plumber looked over both leaks & recommended I replace the bathroom sink bc the old sink would probably start to leak again even if he tried to tighten it. The indoor water meter needed a replacement part, so he told me to contact the water company to locate my curb box, then setup another appointment for the repair. No money was charged for this first visit. The only reason I rated a B on responsiveness was because the plumber seemed like he was rushing to get out and was a little impatient when I asked him to tell me again what I needed to do next (I have 2 young kids & am unfamiliar with plumbing details so it was difficult for me to get everything the first time). All in all, I was very happy with my first experience and will be calling them again to get the actual repair done.

Excellent work. The service representative arrived exactly on time, was very careful removing the old hot water tank and installing the new tank. He gave me recommendations to prolong the life of the new tank and protect our home in the event of leakage from the tank. He replaced part of the vent pipe at no additional charge. He was very professional and courteous. Our new hot water tank has worked very well during the past month without any problems. I would definitely recommend Jack Woods Plumbing for replacement of hot water tanks and I will use them again should I need any other plumbing services.

Quality work as always at a reasonable price. However, the public knows this and it can be hard to get an appointment! I do try to wait whenever I can.

The plumber came out the same day and fixed all of the problems quickly. The work was well done. He had the parts he needed on hand. No mess was left behind. This is the second time I have called on Jack L. Woods plumbing. I trust the quality of their work. Their plumbers are very experienced. Thank you so much! I don't remember how much I paid but recall being pleasantly surprised, it wasn't nearly as much as I had expected.

Fortunately this was not an emergency situation. It was only my tub drain that HAD to be replaced, but we decided to see how much having all the lines replaced would cost. When I received the estimate the gentleman (who's name I cannot recall) gave me suggestions to get the best results with work I was looking at having done. This helpful information and reasonable estimate is why we chose Jack L Woods. Now the drain from my kitchen sink is now run along the wall instead of right along the middle of the floor of my 9' wide by 18' deep crawl space and the unexpected bonus is the tub P-trap is no longer below the joist so I can finish the ceiling. Who new knew plumbing could make someone so happy?!? The gentlemen who did the work were neat, courteous and the work was completed within a reasonable amount of time.

Just got off the phone with "Bill" from this plumbing company. I had to ask for his name because he did not even greet when he answered the telephone. Bill appeared annoyed about me asking for the type of services the plumbing company offers and my request for an estimate quote with Angie's List discount. He quoted me "a ballpark price of $400.00" to replace a water valve and a spigot. I have other estimates with the average price for the same services ranging between $142 and $170.00. Bill's demeanor and the quote he gave me reaffirmed my decision to go somewhere else.

Great experience. They were prompt on the original date of providing a quote and turned it around quickly. The date of the repair, they were on-time and I provided a key for them to access the house over the next couple days. No issues at all with this, and we returned home after the 2nd day to find the entire job completed as expected. Repair was perfect, and installation of all equipment has been great as well.

On time, responsive, professional, great work quality. Not sure about the price, should be fair, but we did not compare with others so we do not know if the price is the lowest, but overall, I am very happy with the work.

Our technician, Mark, showed up on time & completed several small plumbing projects. He snaked out the washing machine drain, replaced a lavatory pop-up for the 2nd floor bath, cleaned out the lavatory aerator and tightened the trap connection for the half bath lavatory. Additionally, he tightened the water shut-off valve. The washer drain & the water shut-off valve were both projects that another plumbing company claimed did NOT exist! I was SO impressed with Jack L. Woods Plumbing, that this company will be my FIRST call from now on!

We had a smell in the bathroom for a while. It would come and go, and we couldn't figure out why it would return. Jack L Woods plumber came in and checked the trap in the bathtub. All was good. Then he noticed that the bathtub would "gurgle" when we flushed the toilet. Turns out when they built the house, they forgot to uncap the sewer vents. The plumber climbed up on our steep roof, and uncovered the vents. No more gurgle, and now no more smell. Super happy he was able to fix this.

Our service tech, Dave, was great. Professional and quick. Next door neighbor recommended JLW & he was spot on.

We had problems with disposal clogging and then leaking. Tim from Jack Woods came out and replace the garbage disposal - very quick, friendly, professional and neat. Went over features and maintenance of new model disposal. I would definitely recommend.

Bill the plumber was fantastic. He called before coming. He showed up on time and early in the window the company had given me. He was efficient and professional. The costs were very reasonable.

My renter had been calling me stating that there was water in the basement. I went to check it out and believed it to be the overflow pressure valve on the water heater. I called Jack Woods plumbing and had them contact the renter for an appointment. The plumber showed up and replaced the pressure valve to satisfaction. There have been no problems since. The price was reasonable for plumbing service that I did not have to deal with myself. EXCELLENT SERVICE and GOOD PRICE.

A renter of mine had a leaking drain pipe under the kitchen sink during my inspection of the property. I contacted Jack Woods plumbing to take care of the problem. They contacted the tenant and made an appointment to fix the sink drain. The plumber showed up and corrected the drain leak. 825.

I got a call from my renter stating that when she turned on the outside hose, water was pouring into the basement. She called me and I immediately called jack Woods plumbing (3rd time in last 2 months). They said that it was going to be a week to respond (that seems like kind of a long wait, but luckily the renter said that when they turn off the faucet outside, the leak inside would drop to a managable drip rather than a steady stream. They showed up on the following Tuesday and were able to fix the problem then. The 155.00 seems maybe slightly high but it is work that I didn't have to do and it was done to satisfactory rating.
