Description of Work: I did something stupid and dropped a part into the machine and could not get it out. I took the sewing machine in and he took a look at it right then and was able to remove the piece. I was more than willing to pay for the help but was charged nothing.

Description of Work: Replaced main bearing and broken bobbin plus full service on 40 year old Singer sewing machine. Steve was at our house 1 1/2 hrs after I called--gave immediate diagnosis and price quote. Had machine up and running in under 45 minutes. Cannot say enough about his responsiveness and punctuality. Highly recommend his services.

Description of Work: Steve cleaned and repaired my vintage Singer 500A machine in my home and almost immediately upon my call last fall. I bought a second machine of the same make and model a week ago as a gift to my sister, and he was here at once to recondition and repair it. I am thrilled to find a young person who knows this machine and will be around to keep my machines in working order for the foreseeable future. Quality counts!! The cost for in-home service is incredible.
