They showed up on time when they said they would. They also charged the price that they quoted. Overall it was a good experience.

After they left the first time it wasn't resolved. They came out a second time and the man that came out didn't like what he saw so he made another fix to it. However when he was done he thought it might be something else, so he went in the attic and said the leak could have been caused from there. We're now in the process of having someone else come out to repair the vent pipe as it's not related to the roof after all.

Their pricing was very reasonable. They came within a week. The man that came out was very profesional. They did a very good job. I would use them again.

We called them and they came out the next day to fix it. It has been fine ever since. My only concern with them was the price they charged as the work only took 10 to 15 minutes. I have no problem with their quality of work or the man that they sent out. We would use them again.

They were punctual and cleaned up after they were finished.

Like much of central Ohio, the roof of our home had extensive damage during the windstorms at the end of 2008. We contacted a couple of different Angie's List recommended companies, and B&T was the only one that would put us on the schedule without having a 1/3 deposit- money the insurance company was sending but we hadn't received at the time we began calling for estimates. B&T arrived to do a thorough estimate within a day or two of calling them, explained every repair they would do in detail, and They gave us an estimate that was $3,000 less than a competitor for the same work and materials! Work began the first day the weather crept above freezing. The entire crew was prompt, courteous, and incredibly hard working, even finishing the work on a day when it was sleeting to ensure we were not left with an incomplete roof shortly before more snow was expected. They were also very considerate, asking if we had preferences about starting work times or weekend work days. Plus they ran a magnet over the yard to pick up nails each day before leaving rather than only when the entire job was completed because we have small children and a dog. They did inform us that they were unable to sweep the debris from the roof on the final day of work because ice was forming, making it too dangerous to continue working on the roof. However, as soon as the weather cleared, someone from B&T came out for a final inspection and to do a thorough cleaning of the roof and yard. When small issues were found during the inspection, someone was sent out to make repairs the following day. My only complaint is a minor one. After the repairs were done, the chimney guard fell off of the roof. Although I have no idea if this was related to repairs they did (and mentioned that when I contacted them), they did promise to have someone come out and reattach it. However, nobody ever came to the house. As I said though, I don't know if the chimney guard falling off was anything caused by them since there was no reason for them to do any work on the chimney. It was just a bit disappointing that they didn't show up considering the rest of the experience with their company was exemplary. They were a truly fantastic company to deal with, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a roof repair.

Great company, great service and quality job.

I know this evaluation does not seem all that good. I think B&T is probably a pretty solid company to work with. I just think they fell short on this contact because of the subcontracter wanting to work no matter what the weather condition. I also think they need to talk to their sales rep so he provides more accurate information on what can and cannot be done. I would hire them again but would only work with Richard since he seems to be really straight forward.

Jamie Young was the rep I worked with, he was excellent. The roof is under full warranty and he told me to call with any issues. I feel confident that they will be responsive.

I have not heard anything from them and do not plan on using them because of this. The person that answered the phone was very nice though.

The company wasn't giving estimates since there were so many calls and so much work to do, but gave me the base costs and per hr amount. I was told the worker would be out in 3-4 days but he ended up at my place the next day which was nice. He blended the new shingles in so well I can't tell what he fixed. The cost seemed a bit high for simple shingle replacement, but I had to get it done.

They set up a date to fix the roof but when raid was predicted, I called to see if they would put a tarp over the affected areas. Within two hour, two men came and repaired the shingles on the spot, instead of using a temporary tarp. I would recommend B & T Roofing to anyone looking for fast, quality work.

We called multiple companies out in an effort to get bids to correct poor work done by another roofer. Todd (?) at B & T was the ONLY ONE to actually get up on the roof with a hose to perform a water test to see exactly where the leaking was originating from. He discovered leaking around the flashing on the screened porch and provided and estimate for this work. He also disovered leaking around the gabled vent at the top of the roofline and recommended another company (stucco) to perform this work. We opted not to proceed with the flashing replacement as we are contemplating addtional work to be done on the screened porch.

The experience went very well. The B&T representative was professional and informative and went out of his way to ensure we were treated fairly by the insurance representative. We are very pleased with the new roof.

The whole job probably took longer than usual because it snowed/iced in the middle of installation. But they finished up at the earliest convenience. Tossing old singles down from the second story tore a grill cover and broke a plate ledge on the grill, but B&T replaced the cover and fixed the ledge right away, no questions asked. Due to snow, they've made two visits to pick up stray nails and shingle pieces, and they said they'd be out as many times as it takes to get it all picked up. Very pleasant people. All in all, I think it went very smoothly. This was an insurance job so I don't know how competitive they are in price, but it was two thousand less than another roofer's estimate.

I was very happy with the response time for the estimate and Robert's honesty regarding the repairs needed. Any delay of work being performed was brought about by the weather. When Dave and Javier came out to do the job, their was ice on the roof. Javier told me that he would have to chip the ice of the roof, if that was OK. I told him as long as they did not crush or dent the awnings that was fine. I went inside while they did their work. They knocked when they were finished, wrote out my invoice (which included a $25 discount for being a member of Angie's List). That brought the $345 estimate down to $320. I told them I would mail the check in. The next day I went out to take a look at the roof, doubting that I would be able to notice anything with that type of repair. Much to my surprise, what I did notice was the amount of damage that was done to the awnings. I just could not believe the lack of concern for my property. Let me be the first to say that my home is a 'fixer-upper'. I plug away at repairs and aesthetics bit by bit.The awnings, though not perfect, were definately good enough to keep, and we made the decision to keep them when we had the house painted in the fall of last year. After a visit from B & T Roofing, the awnings went from passable to 'what the heck are we going to do about that?' There were new dents and dings all over the awnings that were not there prior to them doing the repair work. Although a lot of the dings are small, the overall effect has shifted the awnings to unacceptable. They are especially noticable at certain times of day, depending on the sun. I called B & T to express my grief about the condition of the awnings, the office was very responsive. They told me they would be out first thing in the morning, and if they damaged the awnings they would replace them. They would call before they came out in the morning. I never saw them. I was up and waiting from 5 a.m. til 4 p.m. No call, no show. I have two dogs who bark when anyone comes near the property. Nothing. Robert called me the next day and I told him nobody showed up to look at the awnings. He said he was there but couldn't get in because the gate was locked. I do not believe this because I was waiting and looking and my dogs heard nothing. Regardless, he said he looked at the awnings ( which if he did, he had to have viewed them from outside of the fence) His tone changed as we spoke. He said he did not see any damage that would require them to replace the awnings. He said "We arn't going to GIVE you new awnings. So what do you suggest we do?" I felt his tone to be strong and intimidating. I told him I just wished they would not have done the damage to begin with. I feel horrible that this was a small $320 repair, and now I have a whole new problem to deal with. I should not be the one to deal with this problem. I thought I hired professionals to do the job right.

They came out the first business day after my call and resolved the problem very quickly. Very impressed with the work and response.

B&T completed the job in one day. They asked if I had any matching trim paint that they could use for the wood. I was able to leave the paint on the front porch where they returned it. They were able to match the color of the stucco with paint to cover the rust stains.

I called their office during the week of the snow storm. They said they'd have someone come out and take a look as soon as the weather improved. As soon as the snow melted and without any additional prompting from me, they came and inspected the cap. They found that the caulking had cracked and repaired it at no cost since they had done all the other work on our roof. EXCELLENT! Thank you! This experience prompted me to check Angie's List to see if I had ever reported on their good work. Well, now I have.

Like with our chimney cap replacement, B&T did an excellent job. I called their office and scheduled the job. They asked if I had any matching paint for the trim boards and the stucco. I do for the trim. They said they'd paint & caulk around the stucco to seal where the board and stucco meet. I set the paint on the front porch and went to work. When I came home, the paint was back where I had put it, the new board was in place along with the gutter guard. The rake board look as good as new, and the front porch was clean and neat.

The whole job for a 2,000 square foot house took two days including a thorough clean up. A home inspector found a few issues with how the shingles were cut, but otherwise no problems.

They were extremely responsive. They said I needed a new roof and gave me a detailed price quote. I had a question about the quote and they took the time to walk me through the quote. They did some temporary fixes until it can be replaced. This is the second time I called them. They knew the roof was in poor shape before wind storm. I used them in the Spring and then again in October due to a wind storm. I was very impressed with them. They are easy to work with.

Performed work in a timely and efficient manner. Responded quickly to the few issues I questioned.

The work itself was fine, and the price was good. When I spoke with them to schedule the work, I let them know that I was an Angie s List member and they offered me the Angie s List discount. When they sent the bill, however, they did not include the 10% discount. When I called to inquire, they asked me to provide proof of my Angie s List membership. I simply sent in the bill with the 10% deducted. The work was excellent, though, and I would certainly use them again.

Everything went okay. I would have liked it if they could have gotten out earlier, but it was right after the storm, so everyone was booked up. I would still consider using them in the future.
