I spent less than $400 on that service. I decided to use them because they were on the list as being reliable and they also won an award. I had some issues with roofers in the past where they gave me astronomical fees on things that I really did not need done. I would tell others that they were quick, reliable and overall from a pricing stand point it was reasonable. So far it hasn?t rained since they fixed it, so I am assuming it is fixed.

They did a real good job and cleaned up after themselves. They were polite as well.

It was great. They were wonderful. They were prompt and where here when they said they would. They were done in 3 days. They were also very good about cleaning up all of the debris.

B&T Roofing was the lowest bidder out of 3 companies that we contacted, and were available to do the job within a week (as opposed to 3 weeks for the other companies). We were in a rush to get the job done before a trip so it was an easy choice. The gentleman who gave us the estimate (Robert Bills) was pleasant and courteous. I called him back late on a Friday to request the job; he called me back on Saturday morning to confirm the details (very impressive - I believe the company doesn't operate during weekends). Robert and another person showed up the following Wednesday (as planned) to do the job. It was a bitterly cold December day, yet they showed up even earlier than they said they would. There was one obstacle in that one of the old soffit panels was missing, and those old panels aren't made anymore. They called me to discuss and only charged me the actual cost of the new panel (which they had to go purchase). The final work looks perfect and the different panel is impossible to detect. They cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. Even companies that are good at this tend to leave behind some debris - they didn't. A very nice job overall.

They were very good in showing what they were replacing. They also suggested me to call insurance company as they noticed some hair damage, so that did not cost me some of the price, which was nice. They were very flexible and they had offered to put in soft renovation to compliment the ridge and I told them that I was planning to do that myself. They were very flexible in doing that with me. They didn?t try to push their product When I wanted to do something myself, they were willing to work with me. They did tell me that, they did fluid product and they run me through it and it was helpful when installing things. They also offered to insulate the upstairs because I was in the process of remodeling; when I told them I was planning to do that myself, they gave tips and few points on what I ought to do. There were some other aspects of the job where he talked sharp and he gave me tips for down the line, what I might look into doing. Even when the whether was bad they made sure that I was aware of the each step; I didn?t feel I was in dark.

They were responsive. I received a good price. When they running late, they did call to advise us. The work was nice, but there was a little debris left.

My experience went very well with them. No complaints at all. They are a good company.

They came and did a great job. They pulled up shingles, went into my attic to give it a thorough look over, and they didn't end up charging anything.

The worker came on time on the date and time of the appointment and did an inspection and estimate. We contracted for work to be done as soon as possible and were pleased that it could be completed the next day. The roofers came as scheduled and did a thorough job - professional and polite.

We had a very good experience overall. The sales person, Matt K, did a great job of explaining the products and benefits of the new roof. He kept us informed of when the install would take place and followed-up after it was complete. To get the job done in two days B&T brought a second crew the second day. Did a great job on clean-up, did not find any nails or debris. A very good experience.

We received a prompt, detailed estimate of the services that B & T Roofing would perform. (We learned more about the complexities of roofing replacement than expected). Each step of the roof removal and replacement process was explained to us. Any questions that we had were answered promptly. We were encouraged to upgrade our insulation for energy efficiency and are hoping for some savings in the cost of heating and cooling our home. It will also qualify us for an income tax break. The work crew came on the day that we expected. They were good about cleaning up the debris after the job was completed. We received estimates from 2 other roofing companies and felt that B & T was the most professional company in the group. The prices were similar for the roofing, however, they were able to upgrade our insulation at a lower cost. B & T was also faster about getting us price estimates.

They were excellent. So far so good, they were a great company to work with. They were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Very well. The crew that came to repair it had also found the fascia board had come loss due to heavy snow and ice damning last winter. They removed, repaired and realigned the guttering and installed a new deflector shield. They said this should work as it is supposed to, and drainage shouldn't be a problem with the larger drain I had installed earlier this year. They said to call back right away if it isn't working as expected. They said this was not installed as it should have been, and did not have enough pitch to drain correctly. I didn't notice just how bad it was until they came out and redid the entire thing. It looks much better, too.

First: If you don't mind a company that will waste your time by never showing up on time and can constantly come up for excuses for why they are late or why they didn't do what you asked them to, this may be the company for you. Second: If you want to work with a company that doesn't post a permit or give you any proof that they even got one unless you call them out on it, this may be the company for you. Third: If you don't care if the people actually doing the work on your home are doing what you asked them to, this may be the company for you. Fourth: If you don't mind that they cause electrical problems in your attic by stepping on wires when they were adding insulation and then tell you that you need to pay for an electrician to come fix it, this may be the company for you. Finally: If you are okay with telling the people organizing the job multiple times that you want them to fix a fan in your attic and lock the gates to the back yard, even telling them where the locks and keys are, then having them do neither, this should be the company you call to work for you. The start was over complicated. I admit that was all my doing. The metal roofing material I wanted was not something they had used before and they needed to look into it. I also didn't feel like they measured my roof properly and I still don't. After I shifted gears and went to an asphalt roof because they were significantly over priced for the metal roof things went a little smoother. They were still over priced for the asphalt shingles but I still thought that they would do a better job than the other companies I got quotes from. After I made a deposit, even though the price break structure had changed, they told me it would probably take a week to get the permit then another week, maybe two to get all the materials. They did not start for 29 days. This was after telling me that they would be starting 3 times before that and then rescheduling. They said it was no big deal if I wasn't home when they started. That may have been fine for them but I wanted to be home when they started and they knew this. After wasting 3 days of my time for the first start days I didn't think they would show up on the 4th scheduled start date so I didn't bother staying home. If they weren't going to start after 30 days had passed I was going to demand that I get my deposit back. Since they had finally started I was just happy that it would hopefully be done soon. Between paying the deposit and the start date the exhaust fan in my bathroom died. I replaced it but the new fan was not exactly the same size as the old one and because I have an old home it was not installed properly because there wasn't a stud to attach it to. When I put in the new one there was a gap between the edge of the fan and the edge of the opening in the ceiling. I asked B&T to frame the fan in while they were in the attic insulating it and properly venting the exhaust from the bathroom fan. They said it wasn't a problem. They put one board on one side of the fan and left a significant gap on the other side. I asked them why they didn't do it like I asked and was told that they would take care of it. They didn't take care of it. When they couldn't figure out how to fix it now that the attic was insulated they said that they were just doing it as a favor in the first place and it wasn't something they were really supposed to do in the first place. I never asked them to do it for free. I was already paying $18,000 for a roof and insulation another $100 or so would be no big deal. I asked them to put 2 chimney caps on in the process and they charged me $200. Totally reasonable. The caps cost about $100 for 2 if I would have purchased them myself and another $100 to not have to try to do it myself was totally worth it. In addition to this problem they tripped 2 of my breakers when insulating the attic. They weren't using my power. They were using a generator. So the only way you can trip a breaker without using the power is by shorting something out. They told me it was probably nothing. If the breakers turned back on everything should be fine. I told them they were wrong. Electricity doesn't work that way. If it shorted out then something was loose. I wanted an electrician to come out and after being very evasive about it in person I got a call saying that they would only pay for the electrician if they were at fault. Of course they wanted to use an electrician they were affiliated with. I believe that the electrician that came out was competent. There were a couple issues that already existed. The junction box was not grounded and the wire clamps were over tightened. Both are not good but the major issue that necessitated an electrician was someone stepping on the line and having the clamp cut into the wire. I guess they thought this wasn't their fault so I had to pay the electrician. Once everything was done I checked everything out. I took my ladder around the house and checked out what I could see. They cut through the corner molding on a dormer window and left the black metal flashing stick through the cut in the molding. They said that was how they had to do it. It looked like crap. They could have removed the bottom part of the siding and worked around it rather than ruining part of the siding that I would have to remove all the siding in that area to replace. Obviously poor craftsmanship and laziness. There were other small problems but nothing out of the ordinary with a construction job. The last straw was when they came out to collect the the final payment. This was the ONLY time they showed up on time. They wanted the check for the balance without giving me any idea what the balance was after the wood replacement. So they just expected that I had nearly $10,000 sitting around waiting for them in my checking account without knowing when they were coming to do the final inspection or getting a copy of the final itemized bill. I called the city before this to check on the permit since I never saw one. The city did issue a permit but it was not closed yet, meaning the city inspector did not inspect it yet and close the permit. I told them that I would pay them once the inspection had been signed off on by the city. If the roof did not pass the inspection it is on the homeowner to fix it. So if it did not pass and I had already paid in full I had no leverage to get them back out to fix it. They came back to fix the issue with the exhaust fan in the bathroom. I was not able to stay for them to fix it but my mother was visiting and said she didn't have a problem staying while they worked on it. She called me a little later to tell me that they couldn't fix it the way they thought they could but they would call me. I never heard from them. I heard back from the city that my roof had been inspected and if I needed them to sign a copy of the permit they would do that. I wasn't concerned with that I just wanted to make sure that it had been inspected and passed so there was a record of it. After that I mailed the check for the remaining balance to B&T. I was done having conversations with them about all the things I had asked them to do that they didn't do. I just wanted to be done. I would never suggest this company to anyone and I would go out of my way to tell anyone I knew that needed roof work done not to use B&T!

Was the lowest of two estimates. The final bill was $40,00 over the estimate.

We originally contacted B&T to get an estimate to replace the entire roof. Excellent communication from our sales rep Robert, he explained the cost, timing and answered all our questions profesionally. When I left voicemails, Robert called back promptly. The crew showed up on time, performed all work contracted and did an excellent job. This was the only company I felt was honest about the condition of our current roof and they advised that we still had 5-7 years of life on the old roof. We still wanted skylights replaced, additional soffit venting ect and their work turned out beautifully. I recomment this company and will use them for future work.

Our contact, Dick, gave my wife and I a detailed presentation of all the steps involved with replacing a roof. Even though the price was a little higher than our other quotes, we chose B & T because of our comfort level with Dick and their superior Angie's List rating. The workers showed up as scheduled and worked hard, long days. My only complaint is that their dedication to the job kept them here well after dark. However, the finished job was well worth the inconvenience.

Dick Pope was very punctual and pleasant. He did a good job of explaining. The work crew was also very professional. The work was performed on time and to my satisfaction. Some miscellaneous debris left, but nothing much to complain about...A very good job overall. I would definitely use them again.

I was very pleased with B&T roofing. They were professional, showed up on time as promised including the appointments with Dick for the initial quote. The work done was very neat and I couldn't tell that they had even been at my house after they left. I had one problem with a broken rain gauge for my irrigation system. When I mentioned this to Dick he promptly offered to pay for a new rain gauge and B&T called my irrigation system company to come out to do the replacement. I was 100% satisfied with this company! Very professional, very neat and friendly. I could tell a difference in the upstairs temperature in my house immediately. I'm enjoying my new roof and insulation! When I am ready to replace my gutters, I will have B&T Roofing do that work.

It turned out very good. We are very happy. We are pleased with how they kept the mess of our roofing job under control on a daily basis. They had a supervisor on the site the entire time that really seemed to keep his crew involved, engaged and on track. It went very well. Afterward they sent out someone else higher up to talk to us about any issue we had. There were a few minor ones and they came back and fixed it. They were very good to work with.
