Showed up on time. Did a complete and thorough job.

I hired this company to remove 2 tree stumps in my front yard, lay new top soil and replant the entire front yard. This was done around April 24, 2019. They did a nice job removing the stumps and cleaning up that mess. They graded my yard and put down top soil, put lime where the stumps had been and then planted new grass. I was told not to walk on it for quite a while (which we didn't) and to keep it watered which we did. Some grass started coming up but no grass came up where the stumps had been. Then most of what did come up in the yard were giant spider looking weeds and clover. Very little grass! When I called them they stated that because we had so much rain the grass probably didn't grow like it should. They said they would come out and reseed the yard and put down more lime, or I could just plant more grass (which is what I hired them to do) This NEVER happened. I contacted Gary Fox several times and each time he assured me they would come out and make it right. My yard is embarrassing and I explained to him that I realized that this was a small job but he said it didn't matter and he would make it right. Summer's almost over and still I have an ugly yard. For this reason I am giving this company a low rating. While I don't like to do that because they were friendly, they didn't hold up to their end of the deal.

Fox contacted us right away and showed up on time the day set up. There was only one problem. On the Home Advisor request for service, I requested that the wood chips be removed and taken away. When Fox Landscaping showed up they informed us they did not do that. To me , this was a problem of Home Advisor. They should not have given us the name of a company that did not do the service we requested.

I had this man come out for more than one job. The first tree that he took down, he cut it in such big sections I couldn't move the sections. Four feet long with 18 inch diameter is just too big. He ground up the roots but then neglected to raise his support bar and chewed up a long section of my grass. The second tree wasn't too bad, but then he quoted me one price to bushhog the back half acre. It took him forever to make it out here and then changed the price on me - raising it $50.00. He did a sloppy job to boot. I wouldn't use him again and I would not recommend him either to anyone.
