The Roofing Annex

They were fantastic. The estimator was the only roofer who told me to check my insurance company. I chose the roof that I like. They installed it for 6 hours. It was remarkable. They did a good job.

they were professional and guys did a very good job cleaned up and removed all old stuff just ask them about the flat tire in the drive way.

The Roofing Annex had done a couple of neighbor's homes. Our experience was the same - these guys take great care to protect the home and surrounding lawn and gardens, the workers are very polite and are some of the hardest workers I have ever seen, yet still greet you with a cheerful smile. The roofing product (GAF) has a good reputation and warranty. They took care to make sure that a rubber barrier was laid down to prevent ice dams. The roof looks great. They did this all in 2 days and left the place spotless - even using a magnetic rake to assure no nails or screws, etc. were left behind. Impressive work for a very fair price - I did some comparisons and these guys have a great value.

Not sure if they ever showed up, but I got a voicemail, that everything on the roof was fine. Despite a larger area where the wood under the shingles was rotten (visibly)... Either way, it was $49 and I cannot say anything bad about them - would have been nice to have gotten some kind of written report of the inspection vs. just a voicemail.

They were fast and they had good quality. The cost was comparable to the size of the house.

It went exceptionally well. The entire staff was so professional and punctual and their work quality was excellent. They encountered some issues when they were tearing off the old roof and they communicated often with me regarding what needs to be done and they had sufficient professional staff to address ALL the issues. Given the cost of the project, Roofing Annex personnel was very fair and accommodating that ultimately helped close the deal for them. I can't say anything but postivie feedback about them. The planning process and communications with all the different staff was excellent. I was extremely happy with their work!!!!!

Brendan O'Conner is truly and professional restoration specialist and a trained and certified Haag Engineer and it's obvious in all his dealing with me. First, he is an absolute gentleman. He listens. He explains. He questions, He looks for the best solution and foremost, he is day-and-night long honest and he ensures that every Roofing Annex employee is "heads-up" customer service oriented. He walked through in detail our roofing needs and provided evidence-based support to our insurance company in our claim of damage from a terrific storm. Mr. O'Connor did over sell one shingle and he did not skimp or cut any corner in providing use with a roof we are most pleased with but importantly we are confident in the security and service the new roof and gutter system provides. I taught service management for a number of years at an Ivy League School of Public Health. Roofing Annex is a top flight company that I wholeheartedly recommend without the slightest hesitation. Came on time, same week I requested. Very responsive to emails and phone calls, having extended hours and being available on the weekend was refreshing.

They met my high expectations by thoroughly answering my specifications questions during the estimate phase, including Internet links to the products they were proposing. The evening prior to installation, the supervising project manager checked on-site to make sure that all the necessary materials had been delivered. He also took the time to preview with me how the work would proceed on installation day. In the morning, he and the crew supervisor held a pre-work meeting with the installers to review installation details that were specific to my project. The supervisors checked the workmanship during and after installation, resulting in an excellent job. Everyone helped in the cleanup process to return the jobsite into a well-tended yard.

Let me explain: 1. Actually a summary report of the inspection was not provided in the email response with the estimate for repairs after the inspection. Only a verbal explanation was given at the time of inspection. 2. No photos were provided to me also. Only one photo of the chimney top taken in the cell phone was shown at the time of inspection. No copies of photos were given. 3. A professional plan of action for repairs was not included in the estimate. 4. A siding specialist was to be sent to our house to check availability and suitability of using the damaged Fascia. But nobody showed up. 5. An estimate for $275 was given for installing the "damaged" Fascia Metal. This appears very over priced. It was also not clear if it was OK to reuse the damaged Fascia Metal. 6. An separate estimate of $515 was given for the Chimney Saddle, but no details were given as to how this work would be done. 7. The inspection was primarily to find why there was a leak in the interior. The estimate made no mention whether the repairs would stop the leak.

The job was done very professionally, safely and to our complete satisfaction.The oversight by the team and their response to our questions and the explanation given as to what the completion schedule would be gave us tremendous confidence.Special kudos to Travis.Tony and Juan for their insight and helpfulness.

They did a good job. They were good. They were quite professional. I would recommend them to other people.

I was really impressed by their punctuality. The job was scheduled for the 25, Friday, but it was raining, so I received a call at 6:30AM to let me know that it would have to be postponed until the next day. I feel that this showed real concern and respect for the customer, so that plans for the days could be rearranged. They arrived promptly at 7:30 on Saturday and went right to work. The Sire supervisor was here all of the time. He explained things and answered questions. I was very impressed by hie sense of responsibility and responsiveness. They spread tarps to cover all plants and put sheets of plywood against windows and the garage door to protect them. The whole job was finished around 3:00, and the supervisor walked us around the house explaining what was done and why. We are very pleased with the work. The only problem, a very minor one, is that some of our strawberry plants and some carrots that were just coming up were stepped on.

had many bids to replace my roof after an April storm. Only Jonathan from Roofing Annex actually walked the roof and suggested that I had storm damage and to call my insurance company. They agreed and work was begun.I chose Roofing Annex because Jonathan took the time to explain everything and was very easy to work with despite some road blocks we encountered. The crew was professional and efficient. Despite some unknown problems found from the previous roof they were able to solve them on the spot. They returned promptly after a hard rain came hitting my window. They redirected the water flow and it now hits farther out. I did call about this to see if the downpour was something that was just going to happen or if it could be fixed. I did not receive a return call about this or from the people they suggested to put in the soffits. All and all I am happy with the repair and the cleanup.

Provider has been very responsive and respectful of my time. Looking forward to completing work in late July or so. They call and are early to appointments. It has been a pleasure working with Chad and Ryan.

Had a 34 year old cedar shake roof that had hail damage. Travis and chad worked with me and insurance company to find a solution which did take a few visits back and forth and constant communication with the insurance company. Bid was approved and had entire roof replaced with GAF grand sequoia shingles that look great. Service was impeccable by the project managers and crews as well. They were very patient with the multiple trips required to diagnose a leak around a skylight. And they performed a flawless repair of the drywall damage from the leak as well as re painting the entire room. Highly recommend their professional and courteous services.

We had an excellent experience with Roofing Annex. It was a long process due to my insurance company. The process started in May for me with the roofing company whom we used at our last home. When my insurance company strongly resisted, the old company backed down without a fight! I had to find another company to help. Thankfully, after meeting with 2 other roofing companies, in June I found Roofing Annex. Chad was our representative. He stayed with us through countless roadblocks and some very tough resistance from my insurance company. Chad kept the process moving forward with minimal effort on my part even when my momentum waned. Throughout the entire process they did more than I thought was their responsibility, always treated me as if I were their only customer, and acted as consummate professionals. When it was finally time to do the paperwork for install, Chad listened to some issues we had, 2 of them being: [1] one room has much higher temperature during the summer [2] an echoing noise during rain. He was able to use his vast knowledge to address these concerns during install. Along the way he directed me to which profession was needed for other concerns. SO APPRECIATED!!! He also helped us discern if we wanted to keep our power vent. He was able to answer any question we posed to him. He really went above and beyond his roofing expertise to guide us but also leave the ultimate decision to us. I am a detailed person with a lot of questions and very high expectations; throughout the process they addressed all my questions thoroughly. I am very impressed with their roofing expertise and they are now my go to roofing company. Oddly enough, with their 50 year warranty, I won?t need them again but I will recommend them to everyone I know. I wish I could find a contact like them in the other trades.

UPDATE: 12/12/2013 One of the owners of the company scheduled an estimate with me for much sooner than the three other companies I called were able to manage. He went up on the roof; evaluated the condition of the gable vents, shingles, chimneys, flues, and flashing; and took pictures. He then reviewed the pictures with us and told us which items needed immediate repair and which items would need to be repaired in the next few years. He provided a written estimate quickly, and, once we accepted it, scheduled someone to come out and do the work relatively quickly (compared to other roofing companies). There was a slight hiccup when the person who performed the repairs misunderstood what was to be done, but this mistake was immediately acknowledge and quickly remedied. The overall quality of the work seems very good at this point. The company was very responsive when communicating with me over the course of this project. I will turn to them first the next time I need roofing repairs. UPDATE: 10/25/2013 One of the owners of the company called to address the issues I discussed in my initial review. He seemed to truly understand my concerns, and arranged to personally oversee an estimate and ensure the quality of any work I decided to have done. Clearly, he was not simply going through the motions in response to a poor review, so I am amending my rating to reflect his concern and professionalism. INITIAL REVIEW: I called to request an estimate on some roof repairs and a vent installation. The receptionist who answered did not identify herself by name. I very clearly stated that I needed some shingles nailed down, a roof gable vent repaired, and an exhaust vent installed. In response to this, I received the comment, "You want a a WHAT?" After I clarified, the receptionist asked, "Okay, so you want an inspection?" I had never mentioned an inspection at all. Since I had no faith that what I actually needed would be what I received, I decided not to use this service provider.

We had a roof leak at the top point of our roof. It was leaking into the attic. The company found and repaired a damaged roof vent seal. No more leaks!! No other problems found.
