Excellent job performed by two workmen. Kitchen floor is beautiful -- it is impossible to discern the replacement tiles. Grout color match is perfect. Bathroom shower stall is fabulous -- mold is gone/cleaned and tile work is great! Well done!

"During the initial estimate, before any work was performed, structural issues were discussed that tile was originally set on unsecured plywood. As a result we highly recommended area undergo a full demolition and a new tile installation. We also proposed resetting tiles and regrouting area as an economical repair option but with a caution that would not address the underlying structural issues. The initial work was performed after which it was discovered subfloor integrity was compromised. Therefore we immediately addressed the issue, fastening the subfloor as best could be done and regrouted area with an expensive urethane grout at no additional cost. We assume that this resolved customer‘s issues."

It went very well, only suggestion - when they are going to be later than the time window selected, call to let me know and provide new arrival time without having me call to find out.

I regret not permitting our 13 year old son to do this job as the quality may have been better. Very disappointed based on the high price we paid for their service.
The guys were very polite. Appt set for 9am which they originally said to give them some time for traffic but will call when on their way. They called at 9:53 to say they were caught in traffic & would arrive at 10:30. Called again at 10:15 & said it would be closer to 11.

"The work order was to clean and clear seal the shower as well as re-grout about 2 linear ft of grout joints in the shower floor. Grouting around the drain was not part of estimate. However the technician should have noticed the very small area of grout missing around drain and filled it. This was a small oversight and we have not heard from customer except through the Angie's List comment. We always strive to have 100% customer satisfaction, so we will be contacting customer to come back out and take care of this concern. Best Regards, Mark"

Technician was on time and very professional. Appeared to have a good knowledge of product and listened to all questions. Technician said quote would be ready next week on Tuesday or Wednesday. Quote was to be emailed. I verified email was written down correctly. Date is now 3/23 and no quote. Front desk was very good in setting up appointment. Too long of delay for quote and absolutely no response.

"Unfortunately, I had planned to complete customer's estimate over the weekend and had a medical emergency in family which resulted in a family member having a short hospital stay. After returning to office a week later I'm still trying to catch up business that had to be rescheduled during my absence. This caused an inappropriate time to past in responding to customer. Overall the work was performed as requested and was originally happy with the overall look and job done by the company.
Fast forward to Sept 2014: There was raising of the tile in the master bathroom shower and grout medic has a 1 year limited warranty on their work, unfortunately although I had planned to contact them about the raised tile and the cracking, I missed the deadline to contact them.
Jan 2015: There was water leaking into the living room ceiling and garage and it is a result of the grout work in the master bathroom shower. The whole shower is now required to be gutted and redone due to the deteriorating grout and water leaks that have occurred.
To have the shower re-grouted by grout medic was $410.00 and I would have liked to think that something that cost that much and was done professionally would have lasted longer than a years time. I now have a much larger and more costly problem to deal with and it is hard not to think that if I had not had grout medic re-grout the shower, would I be going through this right now.
In response: thank you for the response but this is not a minor repair... Repair is totaling out around 10K due to the shower having to be completely taken out because the grout deteriation is so massive.

"The work was performed over a year and half ago, so it is out of our warranty period however if customer would have called us or notified us about the issue we would have most likely come out and repaired it at no cost even if it was past our warranty if as the owner I feel that the work was not done properly. Most likely it was a minor repair I would have approved the repair at no cost. The delay in addressing a small area which could have easily been repaired resulted in substantial damage in this case. When water spotting first occurs on a ceiling below a bathroom it is always best to immediately determine the cause and seek repair. Regards, Mark"

They were very professional and very nice, both the owner/estimator and the man who came out to do the actual tile/grout work. Tile/grout looks great! Like getting a new tub/shower for much less.
