We did not have any electricity at the back part of the pool area, even though it had been installed several years ago.
It workd until the outlet got wet; the ground fault button would not work.  The electrician from Detrich determined that it was wired backwards and was not a problem until the outlet got wet and the gfci was needed.  He rewired the outlet properly and we have not had any problems since.
He was on time, curtious and knowledgable.  We would definately use them again.

Very easy to work, changed all my lightbulbs out upstairs while they were here. Nice guys

not as planned but that was no one's fault. we went to Plan B and things went smoothly from there. Would use them again and would recommend to friends.

This is the second time I have used Dietrich Electric and I am very pleased with the service they provide. The electrician was very professional and friendly, did the work quickly and cleaned everything up when finished.  He even helped me move my dining room table back in place. I will be calling Dietrich for any electrical work I need done.

I've used Dietrich Electric on several occasions and have always been impressed by their professionalism and quality of work.  The electricians always arrive on time and work very efficiently.  They always clean up after they complete the work.

Dietrich employees are friendly, knowledge and very efficient. We have used them before for electrical problems we could not repair ourselves. Always timely and call if running a little late and clean up after their repair work. The BIGGY is they get along very well with dogs, two BIG ones.

Well.  Came out to a**** and quote.  Called me back promptly to set-up an appointmnt.  Arrived on time to appointment and completed effectively and effeciently.

They were fast and polite.  The work was well done and we have had no issues with it.

The two men showed up on time, and were very knowledgeable.  They carefully diagnosed the problem, were thorough in considering alternatives, and then did their best to fix it- using whatever had been revealed to them in their evaluation.  They went above and beyond in taping up a few Christmas lights, and were most helpful.  It was a pleasure having them in our home.

The two very polite and professional electricians came to our home to solve one problem we were having and quickly solved finding the wires that were causing the problem.  They then asked if there was anything else that they could help with, and we just happened to have two other problems that they quickly checked over with their equipment and made recommendations on how to solve the problems by contacting the manufacturers to obtain the parts which would fix our problems.  They were extremely competent in solving our problems and I would highly recommend them and will definitely use this company when we have the electrical problems in the future.

My 93 year old mother wants to stay in her home ?until they carry me out feet first.?  So, after a series of power outages I hired Dietrich Electric to install a whole home backup generator. 
I could not have been happier with the quality of his personnel, and the professionalism of the work performed.  Greg, the owner, had to subcontract the gas plumbing, and he stayed on top of their work, even demanding that the sub redo some of the work to make it more visually pleasing.  I would definitely recommend Dietrich Electric to anyone.

This is a long over due comment that needed to be advertised, but just joined Angie's List in 2012.  Spoke directly with owner Gregg Dietirch in all situations.  He was very prompt at answering/returning phone messages.  Price for running 220 electric from my house to a used hot tub seemed reasonable @ $800.  A technician performed the work and was able to complete it in one working day.  Work was to be overseen by Gregg.  When tub did not work I contacted my pool/spa guy to see if the used hot tube had problems.  He found that the electric was ran incorrectly and needed to be redone.  I contacted Gregg who sent out a technician the next day to repair the mistake; however, I was left another bill for $400 due to labor and wasted materials.  Gregg said it was my fault because he is not a hot tub electrician.  I double checked with my pool/spa guy again to see if I had made any mistake and he said, "No, the problem was the electricians and that they should have read the diagram on the hot tub electrical panel".  Gregg insisted I pay the additional $400 dollars at which point I stated I am not an electrician and did not know what needed to be ran to my hot tub, but that I trusted him to know, which he stated he did.  He eventually dropped the charge after I said we could dispute it in court.  I was unable to get my tub running that winter and had my spa guy out the next spring to start it up.  To our surprise the electric had still not be ran correctly!  Luckily my spa guy was able to adjust the fuse/wiring and get the tub running without the need for me to call another electrician!  I was very displeased with the workmanship and professionalism with Dietrich Electric and would not recommend them to anyone.

Very pleased overall with quality of work installing all items as requested. The electrician Shane did a superb job, on time and diligent in cleanup. Very easy to work with, prompt and had no issues. Price quoted was accurate. We loved how they gave us a quote before he even left the house. They were able to do the job within a couple of days of the quote. We weren't too crazy about the fact that the owner charges a fee to come out and give a quote but we accepted that. In the end it turned out ok because we chose them for the job and that fee was deducted. We would use Dietrich Electric again.

The experience was wonderful. The technician was knowledgeable and professional, as well as courteous . I will use this company any time I have electrical problems.

His guys came by on Monday morning after a Thursday followup.  Guys arrived on time (Seth and Rey) and went right to work.  Fairly straightforward box update, but still very time consuming.  They did a great job getting everything re-wired and set up.  Also did the inspection and found many outlets that needed to be replaced with GFI's.  He provided a reasonable and timely estimate on the spot.  Seth replaced the GFI's while Rey finished re-wiring.  All in all a great experience with these guys.  Professional, helpful and informative.  Would definitely recommend them to friends and family.  Absolutely will have them back out for further work that we need to do...Great Job by Greg and his team.  Thanks guys.  5 Stars

They were very prompt and proffessional I called and they came out the same day.  The only downside is they except credit cards through paypal only and apply a 4% fee for using credit.  They also charge $79 for a service call.

The workers, Shane and Ray, were very professional and courteous and did a great job.  They were there most of the day.  Two hours for the work, the rest of the time waiting for DUKE energy to disconnect/reconnect the main electric feed.  I assume this is why it cost so much.  If I did not have the 'Angie's List' discount coupon I probably would have looked elsewhere.

Our old hot tub died and we replaced it with a new one. Ray and Shane from Dietrich had a major job, including helping to physically move the tub in place, removing some concrete and mortar, and re-routing conduit as well as the actual electrical hookup. They were pleasant, professional, and took their time to make sure the job was done rigght (including leaving a cell number in case we had problems when we powered it up).  The price was much lower than I expected for 3 hours of work by 2 electricians, and it works perfectly! 

They were on time and very courteous.  They were very informative and reasonably priced.

The technician was very nice and professional, and had to work outside on a 100+ degree day. However, we were charged more than $500 for 2 hours of work (1 hour waiting for someone from Duke Energy to arrive and 1 hour of actual work). There were no parts that had to be purchased. Even after writing a letter to the company nobody could explain to me why this was so expensive.

They are very polite and professional. I highly recommend them.

I called on Tuesday and much to my surprise Shane and Rey were able to come that afternoon. After going over all the needed work and giving me an estimate, they started work right away. They came back the next morning to finish. I was very pleased with the work they did. Everything was explained very well and all my questions were answered. They worked quickly and  cleaned up everything nicely when done. I  thought the price was very fair.  I will be calling them again for any electrical work I need done and would highly recommend them.
