In a word, Awful. Promises made not kept. Subpar craftsmanship/workmanship. Warranty 12 mos. is far below industry standards. Had to hire another contractor (to the tune of $13,000) To cleanup issues that they either refused to address or were not capable of fixing. Although the company name is quite fitting "HOMEWORKS" when you get HOME you will be finishing their WORK!

All I can say is that Homeworks did a wonderful job for us. I pipe broke in my mother-in-law's house this winter and caused major damage. The insurance company tried to significantly low-ball us. It was very fortunate that my wife found Homeworks on the internet. We had no previous dealings with Homeworks prior to the flood and interviewed several different contractors before we selected Homeworks. Not only did they have great references, they seemed to have the best approach to dealing with the insurance company. Despite the fact we were assigned a very difficult insurance agent to deal with, Tom and Kelly from Homeworks did what they said they were going to do and almost tripled the proposed insurance co. rehabilitation scope and reimbursement dollars. Once Homeworks got started, it was "all hands on deck" and they completed the work faster than we all anticipated despite the fact that the project was a long way away from Vermilion. The quality of workmanship was excellent and they went above and beyond the call of duty in many instances. They were very interested in addressing all of our issues. In summary, Homeworks took a disaster situation and guided us through the process of making the structure a home again, almost as if the devastating situation never occurred. We can't thank them enough for all their good work, patience, and cooperation. I would recommend them to anyone.

Workmanship was very good. All employees were respectful of us and our property. Very prompt when communication was needed.
