He found the problem and offered a fix that was very inexpensive and I chose the long range solution. All supplies were on his truck and the job was expedited very quickly. I will refer them to anyone that has a problem

Keith looked at the drain and said that there wasn't a vent on that drain and that the gurgling sound was air rushing past the trap. He said as long as there weren't any sewer gases getting into the house that it would be OK. And if sewer gases did start coming into the house we could just run a little bit of water into the trap. He also said that he could install an air admittance valve if I wanted to. I told him if it got any worse I might do that. Since he really didn't do any work, we settled on a lesser charge.

Keith was great. His evening hours allowed me to talk to him yesterday after work, and get a quote for a new water heater. His bid was lowest of the three different companies I spoke to. Keith was able to come in this morning, and installed it quickly. He was punctual, professional, kept his work area clean (you couldn't even tell that anyone was walking in my white tiled basement, because he brought a towel and cleaned up all the melted snow behind him). Amazing!? I would definitely hire him again.

I had two outside faucets that apparently froze over the past winter and were leaking.  This is the second time I have used KC Services and if I ever need a plumber again, he will be my first call.  BTW, the ONLY reason I put the "B" on price is because all plumbers are expensive.  Some are better than others and KC Services is definitely one of the better ones!

Didn't check around for price, but saw one other service provider charged $800, so I didn't do any other checking, figuring that was the going rate. He initially checked out my old water heater (WH), told me it was the gas valve, which is what I surmised. He turned up the temp control and my water temp was good for the days following, but told me there was no guarantee how long it would last. He also did not recommend me spending $300 on fixing the old one due to the age of my WH. At no time did he pressure me into a decision. I gave him the go ahead for a new one, he came back on the following Saturday (which I requested), had the old WH out and new one installed in 1-1/2 hours. Everything is working fine. Very knowledgeable, professional, and I would not think twice about using him again.

I was walking through the house and felt the carpet was wet going into the kitchen. I did some investigating and opened the closet which houses the heater, water softener, and water heater. It was filled with standing water. I did not know what to do. So I got on Angie's List and found KC Services. I called around noon. They were at my house by 3 in the afternoon. Keith was polite, was knowledgeable and found that the problem was not the water heater but the water softener. He took it out and cleaned up the mess and even took the old water softener away on his truck. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would refer any one to this company.

[Full Disclosure]  I knew Keith in high school.
Keith was able to get us in very quickly and came over to check out a noise we were hearing in our master bath that we believed was plumbing related.  The next day we scheduled for him to come over, find the leak, and repair it.  That gave us time to clear out the room and a backing closet.
He was on time and called ahead to make sure we were up.
He first tried the backing wall in the closet.  He pulled up the carpet  (when he was done he put it back down so you can't tell) and drilled 2 holes through the concrete against the wall, but the leak wasn't there.
Then he had to remove the vanity to get at the floor in the bathroom.  (He put it back after he was done and we couldn't tell it was ever moved).
Him and his assistant drilled into the concrete and found wet pea gravel, then cut out a section about 6 inches square to get at the leak.  He found the copper hot water supply was leaking and replaced the whole line down to a little past where it turned up.
He took about 5 hours to complete this work with his assistant.  My only "complaint" was that the dust from the drilling went everywhere.  We should have put down plastic in the bedroom, but we didn't think of that and Keith didn't mention it.  Having said that, I will give him a call next time we need a good plumber.

I called KC Services at approx 11:00 am and he was at my door at 4:45 PM the same day!  KC Services impressed me upon arrival in his fantastic truck and had all the necessary parts and tools stocked.  He was very professional yet, also, very personable.  During the repairs he found a few other things that needed "tweaked" and fixed everything.  This was a first class operation and a first class plumber.  I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

He got a back hoe to dig it up.  Was careful to do as little damage to flower bed wall and to yard as possible. Was able to dig around the air conditioner pedestal. All went very well.
