I was buying an old house with obvious neglect in a lot of areas. I figured it would be safe to have the furnace/AC condenser inspected before closing on the deal as it was about 20 years old. They scheduled and arrived quickly, in an out in an hour or so. The report basically said that the furnace could last a couple years or fail soon due to it's age; pretty obvious yet vague in my opinion. First week of needing to run it this fall, the furnace kept shutting off. After some Googling, flame rollout because a cracked heat exchanger was tripping the safety sensors. Perfect, needing a new furnace as soon as it gets cold. Curious why the tech who inspected couldn't identify something so blatant when I found the issue off YouTube myself.

My A/C stopped working late in the evening. I looked on Angie's list for some company suggestions and came across several. I called and texted a few, just to leave a message for them for in the morning so they could call me back first thing and get an appointment scheduled asap. Well I got response back from JMS right away and texted with a gentleman that night and he said they would have somebody there in the morning. Sure enough I got a call in the morning and the tech was on his way by 10 am. He was very polite and professional and got right to work. He had the problem diagnosed and corrected within 30-45 minutes. It was a bad capacitor. He also suggested adding some Freon as it was a little low. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would definitely use them again. Their price was very competitive and the responsiveness was outstanding!
