Dishnet Wireline LLC

I am leasing Dishnet Wireline's router/modem for internet service. I assumed leasing would ensure support. Ha. My wireless devices are continually "dropped," so every time I attempt to print, I must unplug the router for 30 seconds (classic reboot). This occurs daily. Fed up, I began calling their support line telephone tree (accessible via DISH network) for technical support. Each time I obtained the individual's name and code number. At first they claimed the problem was my equipment, even though I spent hours on the phone with Canon, Brother, Mac and Microsoft. All of my devices are up to date and functioning. Finally a Dishnet service tech deemed my router defective, since it would not "update," and I was told a replacement would be sent to me in 3-5 days. This was early September. The notes supposedly made by the tech in management I spoke to at the time (who made promises of tech visits, monetary compensation for lost service, etc. ) since mid-September mysteriously disappeared, even though I had their name and badge number. To date, October 12, 2013, I have not received the router. Dishnet wireline repeatedly told me the router was either "in the mail," or it would be delivered overnight. (Over night means at least 10 days.) I finally was able to speak with a Dish Executive Escalation rep, since in my opinion their affiliate's poor service was giving DISH a bad name. This individual did not grasp the concept that DISH, as the prime contractor, is responsible for their subcontractor, Dishnet wireline LLC. My bill originates from DISH and it includes the Dishnet Wireline charge! Good luck to those who live in St. Paul where internet providers are few and far between. And I thought their competition's support was bad!! I will cancel their internet service today. The competition supposedly stands behind their service. I'll try them again.
