Not well. They had done our house a previous year before so they already knew how much mulch they should have needed. They showed up 2+ hours late and the guy who showed up looked around and said they didn't bring enough mulch and that they didn't have enough time to finish the job that day either. They ended up just finishing the front and we chose a date and time for them to come back and complete the job. They never showed back up that day and when we called the owner got hostile and made up a story about how we ran his guys off our property (did not happen; we left our home to run errands before they even stopped working the first day). After going back and forth with the owner we told them we would find somebody else to finish the job. They only did 1/3 of the work (our back yard landscaping has twice as much mulch as front yard) so I offered to pay a little over a 1/3 for the work and the owner got very hostile at that point. He said "you'll pay what I tell you to pay" and if that if we didn't he would go and put a lien on our home. He was very rude and aggressive from that point on. Filed a BBB complaint and everything and nothing ever came from it. Most folks we interacted with in this company were fine but the owner is terrible to work with if any sort of problem occurs. Do business with them at your own risk.

Used Dailey's Lawn and Landscaping for edging & mulching our beds in 2014 and were happy with the work and price. In spring 2015 we arranged the same deal as the previous year. They failed to show up at scheduled time twice and then showed up 3 hours late the third time. When they arrived, the workers said they (1) hadn't brought enough mulch for our beds and (2) didn't think they would be able to finish it that day due to timing. We arranged for them to complete as much as they could that day and then come back later in the week to finish up. They never showed up on the date later in the week that we had arranged and when we called they said it was our fault they didn't finish because we "ran their guys off our property" (untrue). They were difficult and couldn't give us a date to come back so we just told them that we would pay them for the work that had been done and not to come back out. Got the bill and they over-charged (we felt at least) for the work that had been done. We went back and forth with the owner multiple occasions to try and work things out but his only form of 'negotiation' was to threaten to put the bill into collections and/or put a lien on our property if we didn't pay him exactly what was on the bill. He was very rude and verbally combative throughout our discussions with him. We decided to open a BBB case to try and resolve the issue through a third party but he wouldn't negotiate. In the end the company lost their BBB accreditation for not working with us to find an amenable solution.

The job took about three days to complete. They were professional and wore nice clothes which I really appreciated. They cleaned up well after completing and even replaced the grass with brand new around the areas they were working. For the amount of work they did, I thought that the cost was very good. They did very well with the work and it was even better than expected.
