EDWARDS CLEANERS

This used to be my regular cleaners, i have been going to them for a little over three years and they have been stellar in their service and the employees were solicitous and friendly. Unfortunately, they have been bought by another dry cleaning company and the new system imposed is unacceptable. They took all the equipment out of the store and centralized the work in a factory, which makes the punctuality issue a problem. The worst thing is the new system of entering the laundry. they are limited by the system to only check in six items at a time and they require that the employees do the tagging as the customer wait. The queues are incredible and the system really does no better in tracking the individual items all it does is provides the owners CYA and to say that they have a QA function to resolve lost clothes and mislabelled clothes. If they have such low expectations of their own business model, why should I give them my clothes to launder?
